Pretty good dinner at Cotton Patch the other night. First time here in 15-20 years. My wife and I both got the maple glazed chicken. She thought hers was fantastic. I thought it was fine. Sides were kind of small, but in the end, it was enough food. Bread was ok, but maybe could've been fresher. Not sure, maybe this is how the rolls are supposed to taste. Service was great...attentive and consistent the entire meal. read more

This was my first visit to Cotton Patch Cafe. I had the pork chop dinner with fried okra and broccoli cheese rice casserole. The pork chop comes with spiced apples that give you the sweet and savory flavor. The service was good. The place was clean. The other diners were well behaved. Rolls and cornbread are served with the meal. I will be back. read more

Food is always good and the steaks are cheap but reasonably tasty. Service is acceptable.

The food and service is terrible now. No wonder it's empty on the weekends now. The food comes out cold. What a way to fall off.

I was having a hard day a few months ago and needed some comfort food and this definitely did it ! Chicken fried chicken with Mac and cheese , broccoli casserole, and a side of cornbread . I definitely enjoyed my meal and would have it again . And the jalapeño gravy is so good ! read more

The food was not THAT bad... It tasted somewhat as expected. I ordered the Tilapia with rice and a baked potato. The Tilapia needed more seasoning and slightly less salt. BUT... The amount of salt on the exterior of my baked potato is Criminal. Absolutely no salt was needed..! If you are going to consume that much salt, have a solid health insurance plan. Regardless of your health, you should not be eating this much salt. This establishment needs to adjust their salt usage and focus on actually seasoning the food. Maybe I'll give this place another try, but if they always use this much salt and your someone who eats here frequently...RIP. read more

I hadn't been to Cottonpatch and quite sometime, but the service there was incredible They have a ton of food specials and the food quality was better than most places for the money My son loves the quesadillas They're filled with way more than the typical meat and cheese read more

Things my wife said at our most recent visit to this Cotton Patch Cafe: 1. This place has changed (we haven't been here in 5 years). 2. The rolls are different. 3. I'm gonna ask for the lunch portion even though it's 6 PM. 4. I don't think I like "southern style" green beans. 5. The internet here sucks. 6. What is this, cream cheese? 7. You writing your review? I got the salmon with broccoli. Really good and didn't taste any different than the last time I got it 5 years ago. Five stars for CPC and five stars for my wife. read more

How does this place stay in business. One of 3 couples in there on a Friday night. All staff wanted to do was play in the kitchen and yell and scream. Sat there 15 min before even our drink order. Cheese fries came out cheese not melted. Broccoli rice casserole had NO broccoli in it. Potato soup you could eat with a fork. Watched our waiter leave with another guy and was gone 20 min. No one checked on us during this time. How would they handle a rush if they ever got one. read more

We placed an online order for curbside pickup yesterday while my friend & I were out. Online ordering was easy. We arrived to curbside and called them. We had to pick up separate orders and they brought them both out with no issues. My family chose Pecan Crusted Catfish with rice, fried okra, and broccoli casserole; Fried Catfish with loaded baked potato & broccoli; Kid's Macaroni & Cheese with fries and green beans; Kids Cheeseburger with mashed potatoes & fruit. Everyone enjoyed their food and they also included rolls and utensils. I wish they'd included butter with the rolls but that's ok. Food was still good. read more

Had a great Valentine's Day lunch here. Food portions on entrees were very generous and, as always, extremely tasty. Waitress and server, Kristen, did an outstanding job with menu selections, and made us feel right at home as we enjoyed our meal. Will certainly be coming back soon. Great value and great tasting food. If you haven't already, go check out Cotton Patch. You'll be glad you did. read more

I absolutely loved this place. Southern comfort food is always a favorite of mine and the best way to blow my weight watcher points for the week, so it always must be great. This place did not disappoint. For starters the staff was wonderful. From the hostess to the waiter it was spot on southern charm and amazing service. We started with the country fried bacon with maple sauce and oh my god I was hooked. The sweet from the maple topping the salty from the bacon and outer layer was the perfect combo. It comes with a side of ranch or gravy but you don't need it. The flavor is enough in itself. For dinner we all had the country friend steak (special on a Monday - remember that!). It was gigantic and covered in white gravy and we all paired it with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. In other words, we made this meal the one to put us to sleep. It was fantastic in every bite. This place was amazingly affordable for the amount of food you get. Definitely a fan and will be a new favorite in the area! read more

We ate here on a Sunday around 11am, we had struck out at a few other places in the area that had long waits, thankfully cotton patch cafe did not, no wait at all. We were quickly seated and approached by our server. While there was no way to be seated, they were busy. Lucas our server was friendly & professional. He made sure we had hot rolls and full drinks. Our food arrived fairly quickly after we ordered which is always nice since we were eating with our 2 kids. The kids menu had several options and was priced well at $4 plus a drink. My husband has the chicken fried steak and thought the batter was delicious. I had the chicken fried salad and it was large & tasty. We will definitely go back & thank you Lucas for a great experience! read more

Literally just DON'T order to-go unless you're checking everything before leaving yourself. DoorDash or otherwise is a huge nope. I'm not going into everything they did wrong because it's sufficient to say that I ordered the "triple dip" ... and received ONLY chips. About 12 tortilla chips, to be more precise. The rest of my order was about as successful. Ridiculous. read more

At least 5-6 botched orders-to-go (out of 5-6 orders) spanning pre-Covid to present. Salads and other sides left off. No dressing. No gravy. We've lost $20-$30 to this restaurant with food items left out of pick-up orders. Driving back to a restaurant for their ineptness. Meals ruined. Weird solutions offered like calling the restaurant to place our orders and asking for the manager so he can look up our names and give us a discount. How about getting the order right the first time and not further inconveniencing your customers with more hoops to getting proper service and what we paid for? That said, food quality is as expected. Basic diner food. I do believe this restaurant is trying to do a good job on all fronts. Why we persist in ordering food to go from them is probably the biggest mystery. Must be a mental hurdle to actually check an order before its bagged and brought to a customer. read more

Went there for lunch. Had a good chicken fried steak for Veteran's day. Really appreciate what they do for vets.

Been traveling all day, ordered food thru DoorDash from my hotel. Bag was not sealed, no silverware, napkins or avocado ranch I requested with my appetizer. I ordered a cup of chicken dumpling soup- the container was 2/3 filled. I'm so disappointed, this is sloppy service from someone who doesn't care about their job, and from a manager who should of addressed these issues based upon prior Yelp reviews. Food was decent but was ruined by all of the issues noted above. read more

We have been coming here a very long time. Today will be our last. My Husband ordered the southwest salad with grilled chicken. It didn't even have 1/2 of a chicken breast - looked nothing like what was ordered - when bringing it to the attention of the server - her manager said "that's the way it comes" but sent more chicken anyway. We have never had this happen before, but the way this was handled was poorly at best. Will not cannot recommend- this is pretty ridiculous- less than a dozen people in the restaurant read more

Would have been a zero star but it's not possible. Horrible customer service, served brown lettuce in our salads. No refills on water, tried to charge us for the free breads. We won't be going back. Last straw. No wonder they have to send out coupons to get customers. read more

We were looking for a lunch place that serves comfort food. This place was named as having good comfort food by a coworker so guess where we ended up going for lunch? After we were seated, our drink orders were taken, and our waiter returned with our drinks and complimentary rolls in short order. Man... the rolls were sooo yummy. We had to get a second helping. They have a nice lunch menu and I settled on the meatloaf with a side of broccoli and fried okra. I can tell you that the broccoli and okra were spot on but I was kinda disappointed on the meatloaf. The sauce was okay but the meatloaf was cold... almost like it was nuked. Oh well. My coworkers ordered other items like the chicken fried steak, chicken and dumplings, and other items and they were very happy with their lunches. I guess the next time I come back, I won't order the meatloaf. The chicken fried steak definitely looked yummy so that will be what I order next time. read more

Cotton Patch was decent overall, but finding a hair in my food was pretty off-putting. Other then not getting a discount the waiter was nice

Food is always great and fast but service is even better. John is always amazing- welcoming, quick, and friendly!!

a discerning diner will know things are not well with Cotton Patch...compared to other restaurants and especially to the bar they set early on in its history vegetables (except salads) are still very good. I would prefer a normal serving on the platter with the entree instead of the half serving bowls they are now using Now for the disappointing part. Their Cesar salad can be very good (chilled bowl, chilled crisp lettuce and shaved parmesan) or very bad (room temp to warm bowl; room temperature romaine with more hard stalk pieces than leaf) Staff turnover remains high and the kids just are poorly trained (I still tip them very well because their job is tough enough) I jave been hearing from the managers at different locations they are testing changes in menu ites etc...you can only use that excuse for so many months Take covid out of the picture and it is hard ti find a well run restaurant with a targeted menu that closes its doors If Cotton Patch does it will be becaise if these missteps by its management read more

This restaurant's food is absolutely delicious! It's does have a more relaxed atmosphere, so it's not like a Capital Grille or Haywire. However, the food and prices compensate for the lack of high-end ambiance. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is super nice. I have NEVER been treated rudely in over 30 years of patronizing this restaurant in different locations. Cotton Patch has catered the food for my job's Christmas Party several times, and the cornbread dressing, turkey, sides, etc. are absolutely delicious and prepared on time. We pay to feed 50 people, but there's always so much delicious food left over. What you get for the price is outrageous! This restaurant caters to clean, middle-class people, who just want a super delicious meal. I frequent many upper-class restaurants, and I have tried many different dishes, and I have not found one that trumps the taste of Cotton Patch. If you want high-end, this is not the place. If you want dynamite food, call-in or dine-in to eat some of the best food a restaurant can offer. read more

Cotton Patch - you're a cute little place with some country flava. You got cute wooden decor and the atmosphere is laid back.... You're like a Chili's serving southern comfort food! Came here for their Monday special which is $5.99 Chicken Fried Steak and Chicken Fried Chicken on Monday's. We got our rolls - they were warm and fluffy. Approved! I do prefer sweet butter but I guess I can't be too picky. BF ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with broccoli rice casserole and corn and I ordered the Meat Loaf with broccoli rice casserole and steamed veggies. The portions are big! Check out my pictures. I didn't finish mine bc I had so much! Everything was very tasty. I was actually surprised and pretty impressed. The broccoli rice casserole was very cheesy and creamy - just the way I like it. BF wished he ordered 2 of them! He enjoyed his dish very much too. Okay 2 complaints: 1. The waitress didn't come back to check up on us until we were half way through our meal. BF wanted more gravy and I wanted some tabasco sauce to give my meatloaf an extra kick. She was young - I'll forgive her. 2. The menu - not very diet friendly. The menu consists of really heavy comfort food. I didn't want anything fried or with heavy creamy sauce. The prices are awesome for the amount of food you get. For 2 people with 2 entrees and a drink, it was less than $20. I think I may find myself in here again on a Monday since they have their $5.99 special. read more

Unfortunately our visit today has forced us to mark this restaurant off of our list. Our table was sticky and silverware was dirty. After bringing our drinks we requested additional time to look at the menu; however, it took 20+ minutes to come back to take our order. My husband ordered - Chicken Fried Chicken with double Mashed Potatoes and I ordered - Beef Tips with Broccoli Rice Casserole and a Salad. Food was delivered to our table in a timely manner; however, for my husband the flavor wasn't there and one of his mashed potatoes seemed to be replaced with an unknown corn mashed ? something (Later found out it was baked squash). My broccoli rice casserole was more like a soup and my beef tips tasted like it was a low quality Beef Tip Soup (which explains why I was told no I couldn't have it without the brown gravy) and it wasn't topped with shredded cheese and chopped green onions as the menu lists. I should've taken pictures. It wasn't a horrible experience just not an enjoyable one. Not worth the time or the money. We wouldn't recommend. read more

If you order for pick up, PLEASE make sure your food is correct and everything is included. We order take out. Chicken fried Steak, Steak fingers and Salmon. Our order was missing numerous items. Tried this place a couple of times and each time my order came out wrong. Their are too many young people who are inexperienced and need training in the service industry. Great location and I suspect they are competing with other local restaurants in the area that serve similar food. The food was okay and the black eyed peas was undercooked. I don't remember all that I had but, I do remember the undercooked food item. read more

food is good. service is always terrible. Waiter this time kept forgetting everyone's drink orders and refills. We got our food and he never came back around until we were done.
