This Cotton On has THE BEST SALES! I always find cute tank tops for $3-$7, some of them are sporty, and some are pretty and feminine. Along with shorts and jeans being priced as low as $5. They had a great selection of Christmas sweaters going for $10 in December. I can go on about the deals, but it's important to note that the clothes are of good quality and fashionable too. I absolutely love this places, omg so many cute clothes. It's located at the pike outlets parking can at times be challenging, but there's a parking structure close by. The staff are so very nice, helpful, professional. At this store nothing is priced over 15.00 or less I've gotten great deals for 1, 3 and 5 dollars they receive shipments daily. Went there last Monday, everything was ok not until we're paying for our stuffs. The cashier named DANIELLE is so stupid and rude. First, she said that my total is $15.44 so I gave her cash and said "here's $16" and she asked me for 44 cents, I said I don't have it. She asked me again for a dollar and I questioned her why? bc I literally said I gave her $16. And she said "oh I thought you only gave me $15". SHE DIDN'T EVEN COUNT THE MONEY, what kind of cashier is that. Second, she asked if I'd like to get a bag, I said yes. and she asked if a tote bag or just a paper bag, I said just the paper bag. But then she DIDN'T PUT IT INSIDE THE BAG. She left and she just left it there, I called her and I said "excuse me, where's the bag?" she said "but you said you don't want it?" . Then I said, "you asked me, I said I wanted a paper bag". She replied again "Oh I thought you said no". WHAT THE HECK? The young man attacked was a student of mine and is an extremely kind and decent young man. He ran into the store to get help since he was with a girlfriend and wanted to protect her. As usually, the responsible and considerate young man thought quickly and did the right thing. Unfortunately, the cashier didn't want to call security even though there were several attackers following him (& her), into the store. After the attack the cashier refused to let him use the phone. My teens love shipping here when we come down to visit. The clothes are nice quality and usually reasonably priced. The employees we have encountered on our visits and pleasant. They don't go out of their way to see if you need help but have always helped when we had a question. Always forget that the charge for bags, which isn't a big deal since I usually have them in the car or just by a canvas tote since they money gets donated. read more

I went here with my aunt and uncle because they are buying Christmas gift for their staff. It's almost closing i understand but the staff miguel is not so accommodating with us. Alright clothes, mostly trendy Gen-z style stuff, I'm 30 and felt out of my element. Ended up buying a pair of shorts from the mens section (I'm a woman, all the women's clothes were way too trendy for me, I'm old). HORRIBLE service. All the girls were gathered together talking drama and swearing up a storm. There was only one lady folding clothes, the others weren't doing anything. When rung up, the two cashiers helping me and someone else didn't stop their conversations or swearing. Wish I had asked their names. I don't care if the clothes were the most amazing I had ever bought (they weren't). Staff is young, lazy, and rude and that's way more important to me than mediocre clothing. I was unaware that this location existed. It was a very pleasant surprise! I have always been a fan of Cotton On. The Del Amo Mall location has gone through its phases and now it is a premium store which means they no longer have a clearance section. I fell in love with Cotton On because of its cute style and very attractive prices. This location brings back the love I had for Cotton On. It was having its $5 - $10 items and they were all very cute clothing. The last time I went shopping at a Cotton On, they either did not have a clearance section or the items for clearance were tacky! The size of the store is fairly large and spacious! It is very organized and kept well. The gentleman working the floor was very friendly and converse well. He might have been the only one working the floor at the time but there was only one other customer aside from myself. Parking is still the same. There is meter parking all around. There are a couple of parking structures that is also an option. If the area is busy, parking will be challenging. If it is on a Monday morning, parking is plenty! Overall, I am very excited about this location! More stores are opening up and it is definitely reviving The Pike! read more

Let me start of by saying I love Cotton On and have never had a problem in any of their stores. Everything was going smoothly until I went to check out. There was a line of about 2-3 people and no one was getting checked out. I made eye contact with the cashier and she held up a finger at me motioning me to not walk up. I stayed where I was while myself and the other guests were confused as to what was going on. Finally about 3 minutes later another girl walked up and headed towards the cashier. The cashier motioned for her to come up and I thought she was motioning me so I started walking up. Instead of saying anything she just held her finger up at me again. Turns out she was waiting on the other girl she helped to pick out a different product for an exchange. 10 minutes after this entire ordeal started she finally motioned for me to come up and didn't even give a "hello, how are you, find everything okay?". Cotton On - Receipt - Women's Clothing Near Me - Long Beach, California

The store did not honor as to what the price was on the merchandise. All of the same merchandise (same design, style, color, pattern, etc.) had the same red-orange sticker tag that was marked down to $3.99 off from regular price of $9.99. Cash register read the item as $5.00 and the worker tried to do something but it didn't work after 2 tries. I even suggested trying to scan the same item from the bin but the price was still coming up as 50% off before telling us to wait so he could help out the two separate customers that had more than 5 items that was behind me. I waited in line just like everyone else but it's a bit unfair. After he got back to help me, he tried again which did not work and all he can offer me was 10% off which is $4.50. It wasn't worth the wait so I thanked him and left the store.I'm alright with the help from worker but I would have appreciated it if he called the manager to inform them about this (so they can help out with the situation and I thought all stores must have a store manager present during store hours or at least contact the manager if there is any inconvenience that affects the store/transaction). Maybe it's just me but I thought they would have also took the items off the sales floor to save the customers' and workers' time being wasted. The items should then be put back on the sales floor when the price on them is correct. Cute clothes and many things on sale but the customer service is really bad. Me and my sister went in, and we paid separately so I'm guessing the cashiers didn't know we were together and while I was paying and my sister was waiting, they were talking about her really loudly. Apparently the cashier Jennifer was upset because my sister asked in a nice way if they were taking $100 bills, cashier said no, so my sister said she would pay in 1s. Apparently this really triggered her and when my sister walked away she loudly was telling the other cashier Paige things like "she really tried paying $100 when her total was $5" which was a lie. It came to about $50, and even then my sister was super nice and cool about it she didn't give and attitude. And she kept going on saying rude things. That's really unprofessional to speak about customers infront of other customers, especially about something so small like that. But after seeing the other reviews, I see that it's common. I had a wonderful experience shopping for the first time at cotton on. The prices and organization was remarkable. The staff all played a phenomenal role in my visit each assisting me at a different stage of shopping. As soon as I walked in I received a warm welcome from Jose who also pointed out to me a section of clothes that were most likely to fit me. During shopping Miguel assisted me with size and price related concerns. He was friendly and patient with me as I asked similar questions multiple times. During check out, 3 lovely ladies rang up my transaction, folded my clothes/bagged them neatly/quickly and even gave me advice for future visits. The team work and customer service on top of cleanliness/ organization and PRICE made the experience worth being my first Yelp review. Loved the prices. The clothing was simple, plain, soft to the touch and affordable. BUT I couldn't buy one thing. My bf and I spent one hour in there and I couldn't find one women's size large or xl and only one or two mediums. I'm serious everything in the store was size x small or small. I went through rack after rack and every piece of clothing on each rack. The lady that worked there said all the larges go first. I wonder who is the buyer for this store and how they aren't fired for having only two sizes in the store and way too much of that inventory. They should order the most of the best selling sizes. They would selling much more clothing if they had mediums and larges with just a couple of smalls and x smalls. We went to the men's side of the store and same exact problem. There was not one dress shirt or button up in large or x large. We only found those sizes in the plain t-shirts. He was able to buy 6 t-shirts as those were the only type of shirt they had multiple sizes in. Oh yes I forgot. I bought a beach towel that was super cute. But a beach towel was all I could buy. Love this store, love the prices. Love the selection, it's a sizable store, medium size compared to other locations. I've had really good service in all and every experience. The staff is young, the managers all appear to be young as well and this reflects a bit, many of the staff seeming unprofessional in occasion.... For example I was at the Long Beach location and a manager (I think) was talking to an employee about his other job that he works forever21. He then mentioned he's not supposed to work at another competitive retailer while working for forever21. Then she laughed and said "when you started working here you said you didn't have another job". 1st off she caught him in a lie to her and she smiled it off, 2nd he's lying to his other employer, and 3rd off why am I the customer HEARING this entire conversation?????? A second time I was at this location, the cashier and a girl folding shirts were eating French fries at the front desk... while helping customers and while folding clothes. They were talking about food the whole time but they were also pretty interactive with the patrons so I can't complain too much, they helped me a lot that day I was definitely being high maintenance more than usual, plus maybe they didn't get a lunch break so I don't know the entire story... I just think about cleanliness and sanitary products. As a receptionist I'd lose my job if I were to be snacking and handling people's purchases and un-purchased merchandise with greasy fingers, plus I don't wanna see you chewing while talking to me. But I've had great service on Black Friday where I feel employees may be stressed out the most! and once on an evening right before closing I was allowed to come and exchange something. I can complain about the lack of professionalism or rather the lack of experience dealing in customer service but I can't complain about the genuine niceness of these employees. Was on the hunt for business slacks and/or black pants at the pike a few weeks ago and walked into Cotton On hoping for success. Sadly, I walked in and just from the look of it turned me off. Very messy and unorganized. I was also the ONLY person in the store. With that said, you think I would be greeted by the 2 very young girls working. Nope. I walked around and looked at a table where girl number 1 was standing on her phone and folding with ONE hand. Talent. She never looked up at me or asked every sales persons opening line "how are you doing today? Can I help you find something?" Now the next is comical. Girl number two yelled from the register to girl number one saying "omg should I post this photo on Instagram?!" I gave them both head shakes due to their lack of professionalism and just walked out. Waited 5 minutes for his manager to call back and say no because I didn't have the debit card. The card had been closed out a few days ago due to fraud. Yet this store penalizes me.
