I was impressed when we came to this Marshall's store it has everything for your home and personal clothing. They have Shoes, Perfumes, Under Garments, Pants, Tops, Dishes, Pans, Pillows, Mirrors, and so much more. The nice thing about this store is it's cleaner than most. This location has a nice selection and most of the workers are nice. However, some of them will ask you numerous times if you are interested in applying for their credit card. After I said NO the first time that should be the end of that conversation. It becomes uncomfortable when they continue to ask. My friend applied here and got called back, Monica was extremely rude on the phone scoffing at her answers to the little interview she did over the phone. She asked her if she could come in the next day and told her she clearly wasn't ready to work there if she wasn't ready to go in the next day to meet in person and rejected her. Mind you she got called back the day after applying. Red flag, they need people desperately clearly and I wonder why. She obviously has no respect for people and their time, glad my friend dodged a bullet working under that prick. And their employees are super annoying constantly wanting you to sign up for a credit card. An employee tried guilt tripping me into signing up because their hours get affected by how many sign ups they get. Monica needs to do better manager. read more

I stop in here almost every other weekend just to see if hat new finds they have. Tonight's visit is the last visit I will ever make to this location. My daughter, autistic son, and myself decided to look around before going home. While shopping my daughter and son when to look at a different section of the store. During that time a group of about 5 or 6 boys came running in throwing stuff putting stuff in their pockets, and purposefully running into customersas hard as they could, us included. One male employee in the back was doing his best to wrangle them but they were out of controle. I made the comment to them that they should stop acting like asshols because they were going to end up calling security or cops on them. They went down the aisle next to me calling me a bitch, so I just kept to myself and kept shopping.The group of boys walked back around moments later. To find me and confront me about calling them assholes. When I told them I never called them that I said if they keep acting like that. But then nicely told them, I don't need to explain myself and they need to get away from me in which they refused so it escalated by that time my daughter and son had heard it and came back. I guess said group of boys had shoulder checked her really hard and she had told them excuse me. Long story short the manager walked up and made us both leave. She walked with them to the front of the store to escort them out then proceeded to change her story with me when I told her I wasn't going to buy anything in my cart I will never shop in this marshals again. She had told us in the back to go to the registers and buy what's in our cart and get out. And then when she met me up front I told her I wouldn't be making a purchase she changed her story offer us to be able to continue shopping while the boys taunted us outside her buisness. I told her our side of the story and you could see that she realized we were not the problem but it was to late Security was never called until the boys reentered the store, and it was obvious from the minute the boys entered the store in the first place they were up to no good. She was able to intercom security from her headset when they returned,but no one ever once thought to call for security during the interaction when it was 5 or 6 boys going after me my daughter and son. I have never in my 40 years of life had to deal with that in a place of business nor would I have handled it as nonchalantly as she did. Calling security would have been my first priority, but her being worried about the over $100 cart I was leaving behind seemed to be her first priority. On the way out of my parking spot they continued to taunt and throw stuff at my car. Once again calling security was the last step taken in this situation. When it should have been the first. And she proceeded to tell us that her shoppers were the importance so she needed to get us all out of the store, understandable But what was I. I was minding my business when they came back around and harassed not only me but on the other side of the store they were harassing my daughter and son. Out of the three Marshalls stores I've visited in the South Bay, this is my favorite. I always find something good here! I got foot masks for more than half the price sold at other department stores. I don't mind taking my time looking for bargains. They are usually more tidy than other Marshalls stores too. Parking is located on the third floor of the parking structure where the store is located too. I'm actually looking forward to visiting soon as I'm writing this review. read more

I came in on 11/13 during my lunch break . Lines were long which is okay considering the holidays . One cashier with a hijab was talking to a customer like that was her best friend while her coworkers took most of the customers . The young black lady cashier was nice however , when i unfolded my 2 $100 from my wallet handed her one bill to pay my$40 total . She then left and worried the bill was a fake I started calling my bank since i just pulled cash from the BoFA atm . The white lady manager approached me rudely saying this is a militated bill you know you can bring that . My bill was in two pieces . I told her I just took it out from the atm gave it as a whole and she's now showing me a ripped $100 bill . I told I used to be a bank teller so I know better than that . She kept repeating that you can bring this it's mutilated . I handed the cashier other bill instead and the Karen manager walked away saying how would bring a mutilated bill . I told the cashier to cancel my transaction and to just give me my other $100 bill back . I called my bank right away telling the situation and unfortunately now I lost $100 that Marshalls won't be responsible for and since incident they occurred with the merchant my bank won't exchange it . I have receipts of the atm transaction I made just prior . Upset I won't get my money back . read more

Marshall's... Yes, one is pretty much like the next of this expansive department store chain. They each offer a wide variety of clothing, shoes, household items, luggage, and novelty items all at discount prices. One thing you will notice if you shop at Marshall's, however, is that what you find at one store you may not necessarily find at another. So, they are each present a unique selection unto themselves. This Marshall's is located in a three level shopping center off of Western Avenue in Palos Verdes. Getting to it is pretty straightforward, you turn in off of the main street and go to the upper level, there you will find the store and parking. The interior of the store is designed much the same way as all other Marshall's. The various sections are segregated and they are each easy to find. As stated, this is a three level shopping center. The main parking facility, however, is on this upper level where you'll find this store. The parking is generally not a problem, sometimes it dies gets congested, however. If there is a problem with going to this store, that is the only factor. But, this is not the fault of Marshall's. Overall, the selection is good, the staff is nice, and you can find what you are looking for or discover that item that you never knew you needed. read more

I hate shopping, especially with the wifey. I see the whole experience as a "drive by" opportunity... Hit what it is you want to and get the eff out. Her... Not so much. But that's another story in and of itself... That said, this Marshall's has great deals. Mostly on discontinued items, with a limited selection, but there are some spectacular deals to be had here. I usually go for one of three things: Chonies... I like the Under Armor, "bike short" variety, (it keeps the boys in check, lol); Shoes... Great deals can be found, especially on "athletic" shoes, or; Cologne. Name brands at generously reduced prices. Keep in mind that you may have to fight for parking because of all the other enterprises situated here but it's totally worth it. Spend some time and peruse the inventory. You just might find something you want / need at a remarkably reduced price! read more

Came here looking for some decor stuff, pillows, etc. It was my first time in this location. The store is a really good size, well lit, clean, and all the merchandise is laid out nearly. I found what I was looking for (and a few other things as well) quickly and effortlessly. I was in and out of the store in about 20 minutes. I wouldn't have minded to stay in there longer but I had other stops to make. Will definitely return to this marshall's location for other household items in the future! read more

Actually, this is a good Marshall's because of it's location. It's off the beaten path and this means it tends to stay a little neater than most. I don't know why people get in these stores and throw stuff all over the floor. Makes me wonder what their homes are like.....but, I'm getting off the subject. Good store, Fairly neat and clean. One of the nicest Marshall's I've been to, and for one key ingredient to a good shopping experience, it's not packed to the gored. It has wide aisles, making it unique compared to other locations that have the normal bump and grind, fighting for the last item, and then getting into a line to pay for 6 hours. In particular, they have really nice men and women shoes with tons of styles. It's a little drive, but worth it. Lots of parking, too! read more

I moved into PV 7 years ago and the first place I shopped was Marshall's. Different clientele and therefore buyer(s) for this store vs the West LA stores are definitely different. Bought my usual jeans and Free People sweater and went on my way. Returned to my favorite WLA Marshall's and purchased an item there. It didn't fit, so after a week or so, went to RPV Marshall's to exchange that item and was met with antagonism from Kathy, Store Manager. She quickly accused me of not buying this at Marshall's , clearly having the receipt I had given her with the garment and tags still attached. After I stated I did purchase it from Marshall's in another city , Kathy told me they do not carry "PURPLE TICKET ITEMS" at her store and I had to return it where I bought it! Upon further conversation, Kathy said she would do the exchange and ushered me out of her checkout. Seven years later, similar incident but the clothing tag was missing from a garment I purchased and I returned to clarify a concern and after talking with Kathy, AGAIN, she rudely walks away and then has a verbal lashing for me! THIS IS AN UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER PRACTICE!!! We all have moments of distress and duress. But seven years!!! Fair and balanced is my typical mode of addressing issues. Marshall's constantly wants us to go online and state the positive , which I do and will continue to. YELP is here for both positive and negative . I know for a fact that this elliatt white blazer cape is 39.99 (my friend just bought the exact one but returned it) after speaking to her she had no idea which section this blazer was in.. she seemed like she doesn't even know the brand... she charged me $69.00 only based on what she "thought" was the price.. claiming that they don't have records of items they sell!'?!! Very disappointed when I tried to return a pair of CROCS shoes that heel strap had snapped. I purchased the shoes while Christmas shopping, but unfortunately I couldn't find the receipt, but felt confident that by looking at the lack of wear as well as the location of the material flaw that an intelligent manager could grant and exchange for another pair. I had a negative experience at this location from an elderly female, Caucasian employee. I walked in with my service dog; which was wearing his service dog collar and vest. This employee approached me and asked me in a very rude manner if my dog was a service animal. I answered and said, "he sure is!". She then said that she couldn't tell. I ignored her and continued my shopping, but brought it up to another female employee. The employee that I mentioned it to was very kind and apologized to me. She told me that ALL DOGS are allowed at Marshall's, not solely service animals. Her statement is correct! I've personally been to this location on several occasions and observed customers with non-service animals. Also, located outside of their doors, there is a sticker that states that they allow leashed pets. I am really upset that this woman was very rude to me and asked if my dog was a service dog; which he is, but why did it even matter, since they allow leashed pets?! read more

Marshall's, TJ Max, and Home goods are the best discount retail stores. Better quality and cleanliness than Ross or any other discount store. They recently re-did this Marshall's and the bathrooms are so nice and clean. It is hit or miss when I go, but most visits I can really find a few gems. This and Target are the only stores I really go to for home goods or clothing. Marshall's has a great selection of good candles- including yankee candles. Parking can be really rough here though! read more

Sorry to say Stockton Marshalls, but the aisles in the home goods section are much roomier, well lit and not blaring with loud music like our Stockton store since you all moved the dept right next to the dressing rooms-argh! I especially love this location cuz there are lots of benches at the end of every other shoe aisle to sit and try on! Best part, just one level down an awesome TJ's! Since the son and dil do daily not weekly shopping we are always needing some vital ingredient to add to the communal dinner. Marshalls, you are my go to place for shoes...just found an awesome pair of fila walking shoes and believe you me, it is not easy to find athletic shoes that work with my foot issues. I tried them on in the store and wore them whilst shopping....after an hour I knew they were the shoes for me! read more

This is a great place to get Men's dress shirts and slacks. They also have a good selection of dress socks and shoes for Men. The active ware is suited to golf mainly, which being an avid golfer I love. There is a fare variety of watches & Men's accessories for sale there along with quit a bit of colognes. All of this makes for a prefect place to hit if you need something quick before an event or family gathering! This place had good hours and is always clean with a good selection for Men (not sure about Women's selection cause that's not what I shop for, but if the Men's selection is any reflectionit'll be great). They also have a great selection of luggage if you need something to take an impromptu get-away. All in all this is a great store! read more

I have shopped here many times but not anymore...bought and item a week before Christmas I decided the day after Christmas I would return it ..In store the cashier says she can not take it even unopened with a receipt because its seasonal?? Sooo where on the receipt does it say this I respond?? It doesn't it says it on the sign by the Front door..I look the sign says I CAN return it up until January..cashier calls manager..I tell the manager it doesnt say on the receipt or the sign that I cant return this it says I can..she then tells me look up at the sign hanging she points out something about returns that still doesn't make sense then proceed to tell me that they would need a big book because we cant post all the policies....what?..I bought this item at the marshalls in the mall so she says she surprised they did tell me I can't return this item after Christmas...so I leave confused and call the mall marshall ..guess what ! This store is very organized, super clean, and great treasures are to be found here. I found this set of very nice wine glasses that retail for $85.00 at a department store for only 7 dollars!! OMG, and the glasses were made in Italy. The only flaw was that the set was missing one glass. I don't usully need the entire set anyway so why pay full price? They have a great selection of handbags, shoes, women's clothing, ...etc at incredible prices. On top of that, their customer service is superb. I asked a young lady where their sun glasses were and she stopped arranging clothing and walked me to the area, rather than just telling me where they were.
