All the employees at this Hot Topic are complete sweethearts and always make me feel welcome. They're always super helpful and it feels like they genuinely want to help you. + every time I go in they always say I have a $5 off coupon. LMAO. How?

The most appalling and horrible business. I placed my first online order of Funko pops, which are collectibles and need to be in mint condition including the box. My item came in a loose plastic bag and completely crushed. When I reached out for a replacement they said they are not responsible for damaged boxes and this is how they normally are shipped! Do not buy your Funko pops or anything of value from here.

"HI WELCOME TO HOT TOPIC!" Yeah don't roll your eyes, how many stores say hello like every single time? Not many at all. The employees who work here are always on point, nice and helpful. Love the old band shirts and pop culture items. Where else can you find a New Kids on the Block tee and not be judged?! When I went, I spent almost an hour in the store and looked at every single item . Nobody pestered me or hovered and when I went to pay they genuinely wanted me to pay the lowest price possible. Helped with the promo coupons, sales, clearance items. Walked out with a beanie, a shirt and pop figure for only $18! As all the kids are saying right now.... I was WOKE!!!

I am extremely disappointed by my experience at this boutique in Redondo Beach. I visited the store…read morewith my daughters, excited to shop and support a local business. Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in, we felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. The employees closely followed us throughout the store and made us feel as though we were being watched because they assumed we might steal something. The treatment we received felt like racial profiling, and it was both embarrassing and hurtful. Rather than feeling like valued customers, we felt judged and singled out. Despite the uncomfortable atmosphere, I still made a purchase and bought a pair of earrings. However, that purchase was only a fraction of what I intended to spend. I came into the store fully prepared to buy multiple items and would have gladly spent considerably more. Instead, the employees' behavior completely discouraged me from continuing to shop. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that the store lost out on a much larger sale because of the way my daughters and I were treated. Customers should feel welcomed, appreciated, and respected--not scrutinized and judged. Had we been treated with kindness and professionalism, I likely would have purchased several additional items and returned in the future. I also noticed several other potential customers walk into the store and quickly leave without making a purchase. Customer service plays a huge role in whether people choose to shop and spend money, and unfortunately, that was severely lacking during my visit. I have never felt so profiled while shopping before, and it was a deeply upsetting experience. No customer should be made to feel uncomfortable because of their appearance, race, or background. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and provides better training to ensure that all customers are treated with respect, dignity, and professionalism. Sadly, what should have been an enjoyable shopping experience turned into one that left me feeling unwelcome, disappointed, and unlikely to return

When it happened the second time I decided to make this review. The employee looked at me and then returned to what they were doing and a second later asked another customer if she needed anything. I believe I was being profiled that I would not spend like that customer. It is extremely upsetting to be profiled when I am happy to spend money on quality goods with great customer service.

Located right next to…read morePaul's Photo, this shop is easy to find as it is right on Hawthorne Boulevard just a short distance from PCH. Once inside, what you will find is all of the things that you would expect from a thrift store; namely: clothing, household items, furniture, art, books, records, and a little bit of everything else. One of the great things about this thrift shop is that they often have sales. Though you never really know when this is going to take place, but walking in there, they let you know what the sale is going be. So, From this, a lot of times you can get clothing and other items really-really cheap. The shop is very well laid out. It's a large open space. Within it, the shop has rows and rows of clothing and other things, like the household items are near the back. Whereas, items such as books, records, and household items are on shelves along the walls. It's a very clean, open, and airy place to shop. They have a small parking lot in front. So, if there's a parking space available, you can grab it there. If not, you can always get a space along Hawthorne Boulevard. Overall, this is a fun place to shop. Just like all thrift stores, you never know what you're going to find.

I cannot get over some of the designer items I have found here at outrageous prices. I feel like I'm a winner every time I come here because I get beautiful pieces as such great prices. THE NOT SO GREAT: Selling. Their process must be working because their inventory is outstanding. But it's not great to sell here. They take little and the money they give you doesn't cover the gas cost to get there. A waste. Bring your stuff across the street to Uptown Cheapskate (who's shopping experience is...gritty, not in a good way) or up to Crossroads Culver City (the best of the best, in my opinion). Pants. How are the pants and denim organized? Un-discernable. Any method other than organizing by size is laughable. I don't even look at pants here ever because who has time to search for the size tags? Request to management: organize by size and watch how much quicker you move pants!

The only option here was cash. This was also the lowest I've ever been offered for clothes. Places like Plato's Closet, Buffalo Exchange, and Uptown Cheapskate give you way more for your items. They had a $1 pile, meaning items they were willing to pay me one dollar for. And then they had a 10‑cent pile, meaning they were willing to pay me ten cents for certain items. Yes, ten cents. For 10/12 pieces, they offered me around $6.30. It was laughable. Actually laughable. So if you're looking to sell your items for dirt cheap, this is the place. On a lighter note, they did have a lot of nice things for sale; secondhand, some new, some designer, really great quality pieces at good prices. I got a really nice pair of green cargo pants for $12. I recommend for shopping NOT selling.
