Several of us ate our lunch at this restaurant today, some chose gumbo, shrimp po boy, shrimp & grits, a blt and side salads. My gumbo wasn't served with rice where the others were? The ham in the blt must've been country ham as it was salty. Those that had the shrimp and grits complimented on the quality. I didn't hear anything about the pi boy shrimp sandwich. The side salads were well made and fresh. Our young waitress was excellent, did a fantastic job and was very attentive. I would suggest that the manager visit with customers to give them a welcome feeling and enquire about our food and service while thanking us for coming to their restaurant (we were all locals). The restaurant was very clean and well appointed we dined on the patio which very nice. We'll be back I'm sure so hopefully they take some of this to heart encouraging customers getting personal attention and gratitude from management. read more

I really enjoyed eating here. My friend had chagrined oysters. She ate a dozen by herself so they were really good! She also ordered shrimp pasta that I tasted but it was not really my taste. She enjoyed it. I had a side salad and the parmesan crusted grouper. I am still thinking about the grouper which was buttery and moist, but the parmesan stayed crisp. It came with mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts. Potatoes were nice, sprouts were way too sweet, drowned in balsamic. read more

Wonderful food straight from NOLA here on the Mississippi coast!!! Best seafood on the coast. But my favorite is their Sunday brunch. You have to try their versions of Eggs Benedict and perfect pancakes! Great bar. Ocean view. Wonderful service. Can't wait to return! read more

Visiting from out of state and we went 2 nights in a row for the food. We couldn't get enough! Definitely a southern style meal so don't be in a rush and don't get rude when it takes the waiters 10 min to check on you (us northerners aren't used to being patient) the servers are absolutely amazing. Went here for dinner 21 February 2024. I will start with the atmosphere. It was warm and comfortable. We were greeted by the host immediately and seated right away. Our server was point on and knowledgeable of the menu. Next the food. Everything was wonderful except the fries could have been warmer. I had the surf and turf Po boy. The shrimp were very good. Wife and mother in law enjoyed their food very much. And finally dessert. Pecan pie BEST I have ever had in a restaurant. Server told us about brunch so yeah gonna check that out as well. Amazing place that I went to with my grandparents. Comfy atmosphere, prices were reasonable and food was great! The tour of New Orleans had some kick to it and we loved it. Visited for Sunday Brunch, ordered Omelet and Crab Cake Eggs Benedict. Both were tasty and ample quantity. Grits were excellent, and preferred over the potatoes. Very relaxed atmosphere on the balcony area, service was attentive and food served promptly and hot. Will definitely visit again for other menu items. read more

First time trying this new restaurant and we were very pleased! There were a lot of cars in the parking lot, so we were pleasantly surprised that our party of four got seated immediately on a Friday night. Our server, Trinity, was fantastic. Excellent cocktails and appetizers (although the old-fashioned was a bit sweet and would've been better with one large single ice cube). The French Kiss martinis were so good we ordered a second round. For appetizers we had the grilled alligator and boudin balls. They were delicious and the remoulade sauce served with both was excellent. I had the Parmesan crusted grouper. It was huge and also delicious. All of the portions were very generous. I love that they had roasted brussels sprouts as a side dish. I personally love brussels sprouts, although they are not everybody's favorite. All in all, this restaurant exceeded our expectations. We needed a restaurant like this in Long Beach. We will definitely be back! read more

Great food. One of the best roast beef sandwiches I've had on the coast. It's New Orleans style debris (so opposite of what you'd get at pirates cove) which I think we have been missing over here. They have a great menu with a variety of options. Good for a quick casual lunch or dinner. Sunday brunch after with the church rush was busy but very enjoyable (they also have TVs with the football games). Friendly bar tenders and servers. read more

Let me start off with - Save Your Money!!! Seafood Gumbo was brown water with half a pinky nail size shrimp in it. The Chicken and Sausage Gumbo had no Sausage in it. The Appetizers came out with our meal and to really make matters worse they have cheap Ketchup - are you kidding me, spend the extra $1 and get Heinz. The Crawfish Egg Rolls were tasty and the Crawfish Etouffee was tasty - but the prices are not cheap. The previous restaurant had better food and that's not saying much - sorry guys better have a revamp on those flavor profiles - not a good experience for our first time there for a party of 4.
