The waiter was surly, the lamb under cooked, no modifications in the menu. I found it overpriced and not as good as it once was. Disappointing. Will not return. read more

By far the best French restaurant in Naples. We eat here frequently & have never had anything that wasn't outstanding. Excellent service. My only complaint is that the booths are horribly uncomfortable. read more

After reading the reviews we were excited to dine at this location. Surprisingly located in a strip mall the interior is quaint, and most gentlemen had jackets on, we did not. Specials were orally explained, however, they were normal menu items. Nothing really made for the evening. We asked for separate checks and were told they did not do that. They would be happy to divide the bill in half, but not take separate orders. That is just being LAZY server! No reason any restaurant cannot provide this service. Our dinning guest had a dietary request and it was denied. All she wanted was an additional vegetable in place of a starch, really? Bill not adjusted for subtracted item. Water not refilled routinely. Totally underwhelmed with food and service. Very high prices,$40.00+. We would never return. read more

Be careful what you order. The service was great!! My appetizer was delicious and my husband's entree was outstanding. I unfortunately ordered the lobster and it was terrible. The lobster did not appear to be fresh at all. Who puts mushrooms (not fresh) and a cream sauce over lobster to kill the taste of a not so fresh lobster. This dish needs to be reworked. read more

This restaurant has been one of our favorites for years. I normally order the turbot to be served tableside. They did not have it and said they would have to charge 80 dollars for it. The sole is not my favorite fish and they now charge 58 dollars for it. I had the lobster and it was swimming in cream sauce. It was a generous portion and was cooked perfectly. The staff should make people aware of all that cream sauce as the menu does not describe it this way. Everyone enjoyed their food. My husband loves the escargots here and the duck. The restaurant has become so pricey. I did not know it was under new ownership. I have mixed feelings about going back. read more

You just can't go wrong at the Côte d'Azur. Food is always delicious and exciting. Small restr and you should have a reservation. Wait staff are all excellent and know the menu, preparation and can. suggest a good complementary wine. JoeJ Ft Myers read more

Just celebrated our 4 year anniversary here. Tony made it as memorable as can be. He made sure we were taken care of, and made us feel like family. Delicious food and wonderful ambiance! A big shout out to Tony! read more

My wife and I had dinner here last Saturday night. Foie Gros appetizer and Dover Sole entrees. Only place in the area with real Dover Sole filleted at your table. Wonderful! Great quality and presentation. Very nice wine recommendation from Tony, the waiter. Staff is excellent. New owners have kept the heart of this place and have improved the recipes and presentation. Looking forward to returning. read more

First, the server said that they are out of the snapper and seabass, the 2 items we originally went there for. Than we ordered our appetizer (baby calamari) which was just OK. When I saw the bill at the end they charged us $9 for a 0.750 bottle of sparkling water, $59 for a piece of fish without anything else. WOW! There are a lot better French places in Naples, on a better location for a lot less. read more

This is, hands down, the ABSOLUTE-BEST French restaurant that I found within 40 miles of Naples, and Bonita Springs, Florida! And, I tried them all, Bleu Provence(extremely disappointing), Escargot 41(better, but still not at the same level as Cote D' Azur), and Chardonnay. This place has more in common with Le Vichyssois and Everest in Illinois, as well as Vincent Guerithault in Phoenix, then it does with any other high-end, classic, European-style restaurant in this part of South Florida. If it were up to me, I'd have to give them a Michelin star. Strictly in terms of distance, the closest thing to this caliber of French cuisine would be the Bijou Cafe(which is better then ' Michael's On East ' ), that's about a hundred miles north in Sarasota! You MUST GET the steak(filet mignon) au poivre and the whipped potatoes(those are NOT to be missed), but everything(especially seafood)is terrific here. The servers/waiters could lose some attitude, and lighten up a bit; they're somewhat stuffy(but, with cuisine this good, I can work with that)! Website: http://www.cotedazurrestaurant.com/ read more

A warning to all Yelpers. The owners have changed over! New owners kept same menu but will tell you no whole fish, no mussels. Order snapper and veal the snapper was drenched in sauce and mushy. The veal had no flavor. Service was fast. We booked it for our Anniversary, no acknowledgement. I doubt this place stays in business! read more

This is our sixth trip for a Special Occasion. As always this restaurant offer a wonderful meal with very pleasant memories of a find meal. My wife had the Les Beteraves roasted golden & red beets as an appetizer and Le Snapper De Floride yellow tail snapper ( old recipe ) sun dried cherries, capers , shallots, nicoise black olives, baby tomatoes, basil, fresh thyme & sancerre white wine sauce. FANTASTIC. I had Les Artichauts roasted marinated artichokes, shaved parmigiano, S.D. tomatoes pesto, olives tapenade for my app. Noix De Saint-Jacques roasted new bedford jumbo dry sea scallops, braised celery roots & endives basil--parsley and red beets coulis and asparagus was my main course again FANTASTIC. We had Gelati vanilla ice cream withHot Belgian Chocolate sauce and Pineapple Glazed Carpaccio Pistacchio Ice Cream & Passion Fruit Coulis. The pineapple was slice so thin and very good. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Expensive. read more

My family and I have eaten here a number of times! The food is delightful, the service is impeccable and the ambiance is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend their homemade country pâté and the crispy duck! And don't even think about leaving without having experienced they're desserts! read more

The food, what there was left of it, was good. By the time of our reservation at 8 PM they were out of 3 of 5 appetizers, and many main courses. As we ordered, we were informed of other things they were out of. Our server was friendly enough - but unfortunately it didn't make up for what it lacked. Won't go back. read more

Gorgeous good, perfectly prepared and served. Knowledgable wait staff and no pressure to turn the table. This is a little hidden gem!

I thought it was overpriced for the quality of the food. Their vegetable sides ,beets and artichokes were very small and cold. The service was very good. The main courses were average. My husband had the lamb and it was much better at A Table Apart. We will not return. Just not good value. read more

This place is aaaamazing!!! We were in town for our wedding in Naples, and my husband found this place. I forgot what we had ordered. BUT it was a party of four we each got an appetizer and we each got an entree and it was all amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant. There staff is very friendly as well. :) read more

We have been coming to Cote D'azur for 12 years (we visit family in Bonita twice a year). It is always excellent. I highly recommend the yellow snapper and the filet with mushrooms. The lobster in a clay pot, when it isn't sold out, is wonderful. The chef also makes excellent fois gras. read more

Food superlative. The rest was so disappointing. First our Open Table reservation was cancelled 2 days after I made it. "Totally booked" We were offered outside ( just 4 tables) at 7:30. "It's heated". It was 50 degrees outside! Finally got inside for 9:00 the next day. They announced " No pork no duck no fish of day no ice cream no Creme Brulee"They then rushed us out Brought check before we were done. It was 10:16 pm. All this for $250? Ridiculous Why did they even give this reservation time" Not again read more

Food was excellent. Veal & lamb dishes melt in your mouth. Artichoke appetizer & beet salad also 1st rate. Service very good.

Feeling better about Cote D'Azur as they offered us a gift certificate and apologized, saying they realized it was a bad situation.

CAVEAT EMPTOR! Don't get fooled by the niceties! Spent thousands of dollars at this establishment over the past 10 years while visiting from Boston in Naples during holidays and spring break. Know all the key players by name, Corinne, Oscar, Seda, to name a few. I recently had to cancel a reservation for 6 because I caught something on the plane and developed flu like symptoms which rendered me bedridden. I admit I was not within the 24 hour (more like 6 hours) window because my sister-in-law was visiting from France and I was trying so hard to keep the reservation because I wanted her to experience Cote d'Zur, her being French as well. The hostess so politely told me she would cancel my reservation after I explained I had the Flu and couldn't get out of bed, let alone eat! Yet, I just received my credit card statement a month later to learn that she charged me $387; I having not even stepped in the door or eaten a meal AND I cancelled!!! I called her up today and asked why she charged me and explained who I was and she poo poo my reason for cancelling telling me, "everyone is sick, madam. Heard it before" I will be eating at Bleu Provence for my French meals upon my return to Naples, where the experience is about the customer! I will never go back there again! What a way to honor customer loyalty! Unbelievable..... read more

If you enjoy completely rude people you will absolutely LOVE this place. The food is decent, ambience is lacking, but the absolutely outstanding feature of the Côte d'Azur is Gallic haughtiness that goes well beyond what is acceptable. read more

There are a few restaurants in Naples that service very good authentic French food, and we enjoy them all. But Cote D'Azur is our favorite! We love the quaint décor, the service is excellent, and the food exquisite. Although everything on the menu is delicious, some of our favorites are the lobster in a clay pot (absolutely dreamy!), the yellowtail snapper in a heavenly sauce (my husband's favorite), and of course the crispy duck. This is a must-try, you will not be disappointed! read more

We visit Naples several times and have gone here several times. In fact, we really used to like this place. In March, we reserved a table for three but only two of us attended. We were not "allowed to sit in a booth" and had to move-then the same booth was given to another couple. I ordered a caesar salad which was brown and slimy. When my husband told the waiter, he was very defensive, but took it off of the bill. Our table was the table for two right near the kitchen - worst table in the restaurant. The knick knacks near the table had a coat of dust and grease on them. I lost my appetite- which was probably from the time the hostess reseated us. I understand this is a small place, but there were lots of couples in booths here. In May 2013, we decided to try Cote D'Azur again with another couple traveling with us-total 4 = booth. At 6:15 there were only 2 tables taken in the restaurant-the place was practically empty. The same hostess from March seated us in a table by the door and we asked to be reseated. She said that was impossible because others were coming and we said they could have the table by the window/door. She refused and we decided to leave - and she walked us out the door. We liked this restaurant, but our past two visits started with a very rude hostess refusing to cater to our needs - imagine that - the customer comes first. Terrible way to treat customers -wine list is so so and food is not consistent, but pricey.. shame on us for giving it another try! read more
