Fresh made tortilla, made to order enchiladas, tacos, burritos, quesadilla. So delicious, so well made. Indoor and outdoor seating, sauces and proteins are tasty and not over-spiced.

Came here after seeing a movie with the family. We ordered enchilada plates, salads, nachos and tacos. The enchiladas were cold and over all the food was not good even if it had been hot! I am not sure what has happened to Costa Vida but it doesn't matter the state or town their food has gone straight in the toilet. The service was ok and the reason for the extra star. However the inside the restaurant at the time we visited was dirty. The booths next to us had food and leftovers all over the floor and table. Won't be going back ever.

I have only been to one other location, but this Costa Vida takes the cake in my book. For one, they have a really cool garage-type door on the front of their suite, so it is an open-aired sort of dining experience. We came in during lunchtime on a Monday, and it wasn't too busy. We were greeted right away, and all of the employees that made our food and ran the register were all super friendly and clearly knew what they were doing. They made sure to explain that the shrimp for our salad would take a few minutes to cook and asked if we needed anything else once we sat (like extra tortillas, dressings, salsas, etc.) My BF and I split the Kids Enchilada plate (friend-recommended for a lighter lunch). We got it with chicken, and it I liked that it came with refreshing lettuce and pico. My Shrimp Salad was my fave. The Cilantro-Lime dressing is just amazing. I swear I get cravings for this alone, so it keeps me coming back. I would be down to try a different protein next time -- I usually get veggie salads, but not this time.

First, I love that In-N-Out is expanding outside of California. For this location specifically. It's located right next to the Town Square Mall. The parking lot is a little difficult to navigate, BUT the parking lot is INSIDE another parking lot so the drive-thru line doesn't enter from or exit to a busy Street. The service was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. And the food was exactly what you would expect from In-N-Out. It was actually a little bizarre, eating In-N-Out in Idaho. Definitely a must stop if you're in Boise.

We drove in with the kind of sky-high expectations usually reserved for Michelin-starred tasting menus. The car line was a beast, snaking a solid 40 minutes deep, but I'll hand it to the crew: they kept things moving with the kind of cheerful efficiency you'd expect from a well-oiled machine, not a burger joint slammed on a Saturday. Genuine smiles, no attitude, just vibes. Bravo. And then... the food arrived. Cold. Not "fresh off the flat-top" cold, but a sad 9 minute cold. The fries had the tragic, limp texture of soggy cardboard rather than the crispy golden shatter we'd been promised by every Californian we've ever met. I went with the cheeseburger animal style, dreaming of that legendary sauce-drenched glory, while my GF ordered the Number 2 with pickles, hoping for burger nirvana. What we got instead was... fine. Edible. To be fair the food was fresh, well prepared and the taste was mediocrity good. A B-minus burger wearing an A-plus reputation like a costume. Overall: friendly humans, efficient chaos, lukewarm execution. The legend remains intact in theory, but our particular visit felt like meeting a celebrity who forgot to put on pants. The fanbase can't ALL be wrong... right?

Central/South America landscapers or construction workers. Their presence is a very good sign! 2. A salsa bar with carrots and jalapenos in addition to at least four salsa coices. 3. The meat selection and specifically lengua, cow tongue. If att three are present, you are in for a really good meal. Sadly, none of the three were found, but they did gave fish tacos, which I ordered along with a Mexican Coke. While they didn't have hirchata, they did have an acceptable variety of appropriate Mexican drinks. I always start a plate by trying the rice and beans. If you can't get these right, there is little hope for anything else. While both the rice and beans were the right texture, neither under or over cooked, but I must note that the rice was not fried before being prepared, it was too fluffy. We always fry the rice at home before adding liquids to it. They were also on the bland side. The rice needs significantly more spice, the beans need a little roasted jalapeno and a little farm cheese on top. This would take them from okay to good, maybe even great! The tacos, first thing I looked for was if there was cabbage or lettuce. Lettuce if fine for most other meats, but cabbage is absolutely essential to the correct flavor profile. Also noted were cillantro and a little sauce. Sadly there is no salsa bar or else I'd have put some tomatillo salsa on them. I wasn't asked if I wanted salsa when I picked up my order. They use flour tortillas and while their flour tortillas were good, tasted at least locally made if not onsite, I expect corn. This feels like a somewhat authentic Mexican restaurant but toned down for the local Idaho pallet. Having lived in three of the four southern border states, and eaten in all four, and being married to a Mexican for forty years, I tend to look for the three things I mentioned, so will leave this place for the local, heat and spice averse diners.

It was always busy every time I stopped in. With my new kidney, I wanted to be cautious with the amount of people I'm around. Now that Raising Canes has been open for a hot minute, I felt like the crowd to be a lot smaller and safer for me to be inside the dining area. Greg helped us today at the register. He was really patient with us since it was my husband's first time eating there. I snagged the 3 piece naked combo and my husband got the chicken sandwich. He is a cheese lover so he was bummed that he couldn't add cheese to his sandwich but he still had high hopes that it will be good. My husband's meal did come out first. For some reason they dropped the ball on my meal. There were quite a few people that got their meals ahead of me that ordered after us. I wasn't sweating it but I knew Greg was on top of it. As soon as my food was ready, Greg hand delivered my meal which was nice since they usually call you up to grab your food. It was nice that Greg made sure we were aware that he didn't forget about me. What I noticed last time I ate at RC was how small the tenders were when you ordered them naked. I only got the tenders last time and at 2 bucks a tender, I really felt like I was being ripped off. Today I got the 3 piece naked but was given 4 pieces of chicken. Honestly, I don't know if I got the extra piece of chicken for them dropping the ball or because the chicken tenders were small. I guess the next time we come in, that will answer my million dollar question. While we were eating, Greg dropped off another sandwich meal for us to take home. He wanted to make sure that our experience was good since it was my husband's first meal there. I appreciate that Greg went above and beyond to make sure we left happy. The customer service Greg gave us today was fantastic! Only if all customer service can be like Greg's. I know a lot of businesses would prosper! I enjoyed the vibe of RC. The dico balls, the music and the chill atmosphere of the joint. It was fun experiencing all of that with my husband. My chicken was tender. The fries were crispy and salty. I got to see what the hype was all about with the bread and Canes sauce. I'm happy I waited to eat inside so I can actually get the whole experience. I look forward to coming back and having more naked tendies.
