The staff was amazing and very helpful have been there few times at night and the time I went they were very busy yes sometimes the wait time is a little long but it is what happens when you have two works doing there best to be accuratewith the orders it may get messed up now and then but nothing major in the long run but that also worth the wait In the end because the food is fresh iwould say hot and fresh is the best read more

There's definitely a reason this place is at 1 star. Absolutely terrible service. Waited at the speaker five minutes then told they can't take any orders. I had a Togo order. Which they did make. read more

Update: I'm a glutton for punishment. My daughter went to Jack in the Box tonight 5/18 to get me a Pink Pineapple Express Twisted Soda and they left out the ice cream. I've ordered it 3 times and it was only correct 1 time. I will never go there again. Every time we go to this location our order is wrong, the employees act like they don't know the menu and the service is slow. We purposely went there on the evening of 5/15 because I was craving a Pink Pineapple Express Twisted Soda (we also ordered a burger and breakfast sandwich). We had to repeat our order multiple times because the guy taking our order kept saying just a minute and talking to other people. It took forever and there was only 1 or 2 cars in front of us. They gave us a Sprite/7Up so we gave it back and said we ordered a Pink Pineapple Express Twisted Soda. Then they gave us the same drink again but added whipped cream on top. Obviously the employees don't know the menu. We had been there so long and were so frustrated that we just took the drink and drove away. We don't even know what we paid for because we didn't receive a receipt. There needs to be better supervision and training because the problems aren't getting any better. read more

When I got here, I find a worker laying on the sidewalk in front of the door, he was vaping and talking to himself with vulgar language. He screamed something like "someone give me some f***ng answers" I asked if he was OK and he said "I'm just talking shit" I figure he must've been under the influence of some type of psychedelic drug. He then asks what I'm doing and i say "Im about to eat" like duh. This should've been my sign to leave. After I ordered a cluck sandwich, I get a sandwich with no bun. I go to the front to ask for just a normal cluck like i ordered and they claimed i didn't order one. Reluctantly he made one. But it was extremely messy with sauce coating the bun, and for some odd reason hardened rice on the bottom. Chicken wasn't the best either but i cant complain too much because i did eat it. I payed for it!! Total rip off. Also a weird side note is the same guy approached a younger worker and seemed to be teasing but got really close and personal which the coworker did not seem to enjoy. This will be my last time at this location. read more

three cars in the drive thru no one inside. they told us they were no longer excepting orders. walked inside and everyone's standing on their phones. horrible customer service will never be returning read more

One star is being generous here. Just today I ordered three items - egg rolls, jalapeño poppers, and a chicken sandwich. Now I know that's a lot, and seemingly very complicated - but they at least managed to get one item right. The other two were wrong. What I got was 2 orders of egg rolls, and a buttery cheeseburger. Now shame on me for trusting that they can manage three whole items, and I should have checked before leaving, but I did not. So when I got home, I called and spoke to a manager by the name of Sabrina. I asked her for a refund, and she told me I needed to come back. I'm not driving back for something like this. I requested a refund on the card I paid with, and she flat out refused. Told me to come back or call her GM, then hung up without waiting for a response from me. So I called the GM and got no response. Nor do I expect to actually get one. I stopped going to this location years ago, for this very reason. Won't be returning again either. Ridiculous. Edit: GM called me back and says he's going to refund the order - but didn't even ask what my order was, or my name, or any details of the actual transaction. So we'll see if this actually happens. I have obvious doubts. read more

Waited a god damn hour, they only served one car. Did not pull people thru or communicate at all. Even taking the order they were severely under trained. I cannot stress enough that in that hour only one car made it through with their food before I left. I will never be returning. Absolutely awful and worst experience I've ever had in ANY drive through ever. Fix it. If I could give zero stars I would've read more

I cannot believe this place still has 1.5 stars. I really thought all of the complaints, that the manager would step it up and make sure that they are better. Nope!!! I have been in line for 10 mins and have enough time to write this post. We are finally moving. Just doesn't seem right but it is their business and if it tanks... then it is on them. read more

They have messed up our order EVERY SINGLE time we have been there in the last year. Always forgetting something and then FIGHT you on it when you tell them they forgot it. EVERY TIME. EVERY EMPLOYEE. EVERY MANAGER. Absolutely horrible. There's another JITB down the street, go there. This one is a nightmare. We've all worked fast food. Getting the order right is the easiest part. read more

I just wanna let people know don't show up to this restaurant before 10 o'clock because you won't get served they start closing it down before they're actually closed and when you get there they tell you sorry we're closed even though their lights are on in their drive-through very disappointed won't be back read more

Upon entering the drive thru we were greeted with a short "order whenever" and while looking at the menu less than a minute after the original greeting we were met with yet another attitude filled "are you ready yet??" After responding to her attitude with "give me a second" she refused to take our order and said she would not serve us today. read more

In the past my experience has been great for fast food, for a good price. However the last couple times I have go there the food was quite sub-par even for a fast food joint. I thought I would try their new patty melt, you see the picture with mushrooms oozing out with the cheese...I had a dot of the mushrooms in the center of the patty about the size of a quarter, and my sons burger also had just a dot of sauce, with cheese that wasn't melted. It was like the burger had been setting there for a while, and they were finally able to use it and threw cheese on it with a tinny dot of sauce in the middle. read more

Terrible service. Got 3 out of 4 items wrong. Left things off our burgers and was a complete mess.

It's hard to give this place a positive rating. Visiting the restaurant at 9 p.m. I found no one around. Well, no one working that is. While vehicles were in the parking lot, someone no doubt had to be there. And since I was only going to go thru the drive-thru, I didn't think much of it. However, I could not find anyone to take my order at the speaker or after driving up the window, again no one at the window. I was not the only person trying that, about 4 other cars behind me, probably experienced the same. Website, said the hours were until 10 p.m., so did the signs. When I called that night and again in the morning, no answer either. Perhaps this store is closing down or maybe going out of business. I know that I can't contribute to this business, if there is no one working there. And this what I experienced at 9 p.m. on June 28, 2021. read more

Service was fine however my order was missing items which I didn't find out until I got home. I called the location to be given attitude.... just a shame read more

Went thru the drive thru starving and shaky hoping for "fast food". I was the 3rd car from the window and yet I might as well been at a sit down restaurant it took so long!! They felt bad and gave me my food without charging me. I decided not to leave a review thinking it was a one time thing. Now over a month later my husband stops by after a trip to auto zone to get dinner for our family. He ordered a lot of food and drove home. I dumped out the bag to find none of my kids food was even in the bag. My heart sank for them knowing that my husband and I got our food while they had to wait for us to quickly make then something else to eat. Afterwards we went back to jack in the box to make it right. I wanted my money back for the food I didn't get and shakes for my disappointed kids. It was a reasonable request and yet the manager made me feel like I was over reacting and that she was so put out having to do all of that for me. Between these 2 experiences and the filth I saw when I was in there. I'm never going back!! read more

Jack in the Box - Saw this while dealing with an order unfulfilled. - Fast Food Near Me - Boise, Idaho

See all

Overcharged me for an item I did not order and then the employee argued with me. I know what I ordered. I should've taken a picture but the fries were cold and looked unappetizing. It was supposed to be a large, yet the box was maybe half full. I also had to wait an extra 10 minutes in the parking lot for subpar food and just to be argued with. This location is in as nice a way as possible, NOT GOOD. If you're going to charge as much as you are for fast food service should be good and the food should be at least appetizing. read more

I don't expect much from fast food but this Jack in the box is awful!! I've only been there 3 times and the first time my son wouldn't eat his burger because he said it tasted old, the second time they forgot 2 things in my order and now they gave me a burnt sandwich and fries that are cold and hard an unbeatable. . I think they just reheat old food. Next time I will just drive down the street to Wendy's read more

Had great food every time but several times I've shown up before "closing time" (at 2am) I get there at 9pm and they say they are closed

Beware, this Jack can't be bothered to fill orders correctly. Placed an order via the App for delivery, 1/3 of the order was left out. Called and spoke to someone who said their manager wasn't available. I was told they couldn't refund my money and they actually asked if I could come in to pick up the food. This Jack location has earned their one star rating from me and their two star rating from the community. Do yourself a favor, stay hungry and keep driving. read more

This place is obviously a training store for would-be employees to finish the last of their training. Unfortunately most of them are NOT ready. I would advise corporate to stop doing this. I waited over 10 minutes for a sourdough sandwich and it looked and tasted a week old. The staff was scattered. The shift lead and manager? Looked more confused than a cow headed to a meat grinder. Plenty of fast food down the street and a couple of Jack in the Box's a few more streets over. I WILL NOT be returning to this location. read more

Came in at 8:15 and both doors are locked. If your lobby is gonna be closed at least put up a damn sign ffs. Says dining room open 6am. The store isn't even that busy to be closed on the inside. Only seen one car go through in the past 45 minutes. read more

I was just there and ordered large curly fries... I got regular fries but not even that, the guy taking care of me was just rude in general. Awful experience read more

Absolutely the worst Jack in the Box. As a former Employee of Jack, I couldn't believe the service and lack of concern for customers. I went through the drive thru and was asked to proceed to the front to wait. After waiting 15 minutes I went in to find out what was going on. After another 12 minutes, the food came out. As I watched the set up area, the fries were put in a bag where the became cold. The four ultimate cheese burgers were room temperature. To say the least, we will never be going to this Jack in the Box! No apologies for the wait time. No manager or assistant manager doing anything or identifying themselves to address customer concerns Sad state of service, attitude and food quality! read more

Literally the worst service. I went at 8:20 pm on July 23 and no one answered at the speaker, I waited about 10 minutes at the speaker then went to the window saw a girl but she didn't speak to us. If i could give this Jack in the Box 0 stars I would. read more

It's fast food but it's on our short list when our crazy busy family is looking for something fast, affordable & yummy. No, it's not gourmet food but for these prices what do you expect. :-) happy with the service at this location above some of the others in the area. Probably our favorite thing is the breakfast sandwich. Two people can share it and be full for hours. Ask to have it cut in half AND toasted. Better than plain bread. read more

I work in retail, so I understand how a bad day can make interactions with customers a little difficult. However, the employee working the window had me baffled that she still has her job. I am extremely polite as a customer and this woman looked me dead in the eye when I pulled up, grabbed my card, handed me my food, card and receipt, and walked away without saying a word. All after being brusque and clearly irritated when I ordered. read more

Came by in the after noon and was a great experience. Food was speedy and correct. Try the tiny tacos!

Slowest drive through in Boise, every single time. If you got an hour to get something quick to eat this is the place for you

I sent my husband through the drive thru several times and usually he comes home without a problem. The last few times they have been messing up our orders or asking for repeat orders anytime we visit. This time around made us both upset. Not only did the order get messed up but we got charged for more food than ordered. My Ultimate cheeseburger box was full of spare lettuce and tomatos off the prep line and as we all know the Ultimate doesn't come with it. We also order the small and received a medium and the cost that went with it. My husband orders the Double jack meal in the Large, that was fine but he told the girl he wanted the meal. She read back just the burger. He said no I wanted it in the meal. She fixed it and still rang up a full meal and a single burger. Costing us more than what we should have paid for. Honestly this location doesn't listen when it comes to drive thru orders or must not care because it comes out wrong and sloppy as it gets. My cheeseburger wasn't even on the bun! When I have to remake my meal at home it's not good for anyone! Get it together Jack! read more

I ordered two things. A jr jumbo jack w/ cheese. And a sausage breakfast burrito. They forgot the cheese on the burger. The burrito was horribly wrapped, with the sauce seeping out the fold, and both ends were not tight, so the insides were falling out. I managed to get a bite in and was even more disappointed. Something in there tasted freezer burnt. I took one more bite to be sure. Yup. Disgusting. I couldn't even eat it. If I wasn't in a hurry I would have taken it back for a refund. Oh, plus they forgot to give me a receipt. Worst experience I've ever had. read more

At not even 11 o'clock the line for the drive-through was so long then I get to the window and they tell me somethings wrong with the fryer please pull to the front yet all the cars behind me are going through I highly doubt there something wrong with their fryer when everybody else is going through the line I will be calling corporate to complain because the second time I've had problems here. No wheat bread, no white bread or meatballs. ?? Seriously? Aren't those their staple foods?

The food is garbage, as is the service. Much is left to be desired at this place as far as satisfaction goes

Stopped in here last night to grab dinner. There were three young men working behind the counter. The one who took my order was Glenn and as I waited for my food I watched him interact with his co-workers and restaurant patrons. He was not your typical teenager who worked in some fast food restaurant, you could tell he took pride in what he was doing. He was motivating the other two workers as he quickly bagged up each drive through order, took dining room order out to customers with a very friendly attitude and took orders through his head set. You don't see that very often and I just wanted to pass it on. read more

Old jbx grill.. love the setting. Mike, a manager I believe, was super friendly. I like how the customer service is at this store.

Absolutely filthy. If the lobby looks this bad then what does the kitchen look like?

Just went through drive thru on our way home to Portland. Got a variety of food (long drive) and all was fast and good. Man working the window even caught a lid that was starting to split and replaced it before giving it to us. Very courteous overall-and upbeat for it being so early (3:30am). read more
