Happy with the burrito so nothing to complain about there. The meh Due to covid there are no toppings available to add to my burrito. I don't recall being offered any. Went to drive thru, unfortunately was forced to wait over 11 minutes before deciding to drive around and go inside. Ladies in back though, incredible. Taco Tuesday! I shout to my children... Wait? What?!? Only one YAY! We get it so often (cheap, easy, and filling) that my kids are pretty bored with it. On Tuesdays, (Taco Tuesday) you can get 3/$1.29 soft or hard tacos- I recommend buying your own sour cream. This is a newer location and so far they're doing pretty well. I am glad to see they brought one over to this side of town. We would have to drive down Eagle during dinner time (ewww, I know) or the other one off Franklin, which is much farther from me. Personally, I really enjoy their epic burritos. They're large and filling-- not like a taco truck, though, there is no comparison there! So, the first time I ordered food from this del taco was when it first opened I ordered a bean burrito and it came with a dirty fingernail in it, disgusting! Recently gave this place another try...customer service sucks, they NEVER get your order right, they make some pretty crappy tacos and their salad, which isn't cheap, is rotten and dirty. Long story short, not impressed...Never returning to this location, ever. Deserves no stars in my opinion. read more

I usually stop in at any Del Taco all over but this was the worse service and very dirty location that I've ever seen! While we had ordered our food, another guest wanted to speak with a manager regarding an employee that was not changing out gloves everytime he went to a different station or even stocked. The guy I believe was named Danny was asked to change his gloves but the guy was very sweaty and looked disgusting. So my husband watched and waited as our food was prepared to make sure that he was not touching our order. There was no shift manager on and the kids that were working keep Jack assing around putting boxes on their heads. None of them were clean shaved and just look like they are hanging out than working. Friends have raved about this place so i thought I would try it out. Ordered a classic grilled chicken buritto with no tomatoes. Had lots of tomatoes!! Cold chicken. The tortilla shell was hard. And the lettuce was slimy. Service was less than desirable too. Overall truly disappointed!!! read more

Service good and food better than Taco Bell and other similar competitors. My grilled chicken avocado burrito was plumb full of meat, veggies, rice, and beans. Not a wow in the flavor department, but very satisfying. And huge!! My wife's two taco meal deal was also good. I wish that they had a better mild salsa, and that they grilled the stuffed burrito. I love this Del Taco cuz the employees are always so much fun! The food is good, not great, but decent. I think you get a good quality for what you pay. Their fish tacos are the best thing on the menu! I really like their fish tacos here! Can't beat the prices for their plain little tacos either. Their dollar/value menu choices are good and solid and I like that they have different specials several times a week. I like Del Tacos french fries too, as well as the churros and their strawberry shakes are fantastic! They have real chunks of strawberries and they put plenty in. This is the best Del Taco I've found in the treasure valley! Super clean! Fast friendly service. But most of all fresh consistent food! I'm from the Barstow area and have ate at the original location as well as Lynwood but this one is with out a doubt the closest to those I've found. I drive a few extra miles just for this one. The Eagle road location needs some attention! So drive a little more it definitely worth it!! read more

My boyfriend and I were picking up an order for Uber delivery. The man on the speaker told us to come up to the window. We sat there for over 10 minutes.. nobody else in line. We watched 4 employees walk to the back from the LOBBY. My boyfriend honked and called the store with no answer. They all were literally doing nothing!! .I really like the Tuesday, taco nights deal, what some people call "Taco Tuesday" (I think that phrase started with Taco John's). You can get three beef Del Tacos for $2.99 - but you have to wait until after 3:30. I went there about 30 minutes early, and got charged full price. The clerk made no mention of the discount later on. .The tacos are packed with lots of cheese, a little lettuce, few bits of tomato, and a nicely spiced ground meat. I prefer to eat inside the restaurant, because I can visit the salsa bar, ladle my choices into a couple tiny cups, and add it to my tacos as I eat. And I go back for extra if I want. .I did the drive through, for Taco Wednesday, and ordered nine tacos. This is essentiaIly the same deal as Tuesday, except we get ground turkey meat in our tacos. My wife asks for taco sauce, so we are handed nine little plastic envelopes of "El Scorcho" (medium) taco sauce - one per taco. .I tried some of the El Scorcho, sauce and found it did not improve the flavor for me. Compared to the beef tacos, the turkey was not as satisfying. But either way, the tacos are just okay, not excellent. read more

OVERLAND RD. store is about a mile away, we go there on a fairly regular basis, I have always had excellent service and great food, I usually get 3 soft chicken tacos, but sometimes I have a craving for a crispy beef taco, always fresh and tasty. We will never eat at a Del Taco again thanks to this location. The drive through staff has gotten our order wrong three times in a row. Not only do they forget to include items, but the food we do get is mediocre at best. The avocado is always far more ripe than it should be, refried beans are scorched, and we're lucky if the "platos" have all three items (and it comes on a single plate for Pete's sake! How can you forget to fill all three spots in the dish?!) The staff are all a bunch of kids giggling in the kitchen. Clearly little to no supervision happening here. read more

So my first visit was in the drive thru right after this new Del Taco opened. I ordered 3 items and drive off. Got home and found only 2 of the items in my bag. I thought about going back but never got time after that to do so. :-(. Really the reason I went there was because I was short on time anyways. Decided to go back and try it again today. This time I went inside and it was nice but it is also brand new. The girl at the counter and friendly and nice. I ordered 2 shrimp Tacos as they were on sale 2 for 4.50. They came out quickly but the place was not busy either. The first taco had soooo much of that spicy mayo sauce I was almost tempted to have them make me a new one but once again was short on time so I opted not to. Ironically the second taco had the right amount and was a good taco. So it seems that there are issues with inconsistency. My advice is if you order anything that comes with sauce ask for it in the side so you can gage how much or how little to add for yourself. I don't know that I will come back again but if I do I will be more detailed about what I want on the side. I would say this was a generous 3 star review. For a brand new Del Taco I did expect a bit more. I know it's fast food but even at that quality of food consistency needs to get better. read more

Ordered here last night for the first time and I wasn't happy. We went through the drive thru and ordered the Fiesta pack. The lady who took our orders was the one of two reasons I am giving this place a two stars. She was very upbeat and super friendly. It took a while to get through the drive thru but I guess that's the risk you take when you go through it because you never know what people order and sometimes it can take a while. But it felt like it was longer than it should have been. We got our food and headed home. Now del taco claims that their food is fresh and honestly it looked pretty fresh for fast food. Nothing was wilted of slimy like some other people said, but I know it's never going to be super high quality. My issue is the flavor and construction. The burritos tasted like NOTHING, now I know I got them without sauce but the sauce shouldn't be the only thing that gives flavor. They come with cheese but the cheese was almost all at the bottom so when you got down there you were pretty much eating cheese and tortilla. The tacos looked good but were probably about 60-70% cheese, flavor was okay but really not great. So while the ingredients didn't look to bad and the lady on the intercom was super nice. Flavor was lacking big time and they need to work on construction. Also price wasn't bad I think for 12 items in the Fiesta Pack it was around $15 with tax. read more
