My favorite - risotto with shrimp and lemon!
    Lyn M.

We stopped here for lunch during a guided tour, and loved it so much we came back for lunch the next day. Food was fresh and delicious. We loved all our dishes and the favorites were the gnocchi with red sauce, risotto with shrimp and lemon, the squid appetizer and the fresh fish! The view is stunning with plenty of lemon tree, service was friendly, prompt and courteous. They also have a chairlift if anyone needs assistance up and down the stairs.

Costa Diva sits right on the edge of Praiano overlooking the Med. The pergolas of lemon trees and twinkly lights make it look right out of a postcard! It's a family owned spot with many generations there working. Everyone was kind and accommodating. Like most restaurants in Praiano, it's known for its seafood, which is what I ordered. I'm so glad I did! I got the seafood platter that came with a variety of fish and squid. Everything was so fresh! It also came with a side of of grilled zucchini and carrots that complimented the fish perfectly. We also got a caprese salad to start which, wow these tomatoes were seriously the best I have ever had. We also loved the tres leche and lemon cake we shared at the end of the night! Nothing was overly seasoned. Just good quality foods that shined. So yummy!

    Lemon trees at lunch!

Beautiful location, very good food. Four of us were taken here as part of a guided tour of the Amalfi coast. Loved the lemon trees and the view from our table was beautiful. Menu is mainly fish based with several pastas also available. Waiter recommended dishes and service was perfectly spaced to enable relaxed meal yet back on the road in a reasonable timeframe. Parking, like so many places on the coast, was very challenging but there is a fellow at the gate to guide you. Place was filled with small private tour groups. It was a perfect place to stop. Definitely make a reservation, even for lunch. Beautiful.

Most amazing experience here! The views, ambience, service, food. Everything is incredible! I would eat here every night if I could. They treated us like family. I got the lemon risotto and it was 10/10. The house wine was so good and served in the cutest pitchers. The peach cake dessert was one of the best desserts I've ever had. Highly recommend! Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. We will be back on this trip.

Gorgeous lemon garden restaurant, great service and wine. The food was fantastic, fresh prepared with seasonal ingredients, lots of fresh seafood. Bread baked daily, served with first cold press olive oil and balsamic vinegar. the place was recommended by our private tour guide, it is difficult to find if you don't know the exact location. There are several steps down to get to the restaurant and several steps up, no wheel chair access which will be difficult for some people.

Food was very ok, very friendly and fast service -- this was our first stop in Praiano. Hat tip: There are other options if you want to eat RIghTtt by the sea like Il Pirata though Food: - service €2/person - bread (meh): sliced + pizza looking - fish (€18, ok): grilled, olive oil w/side of lemon. Fresh texture but kind of fishy for me? - seafood pasta (€15, ok): also a little on the fishy side - cheese plate (€10, yay): loved the mozzarella, parmesean and cacciocavallo original + smoked. Highly recommended - panna cotta (€5, yay): asked for this plain, though it can come with a variety of toppings. Very wonderful strong vanilla flavor - soy latte €2, espresso €1.5: jebus that espresso is real strong tasting haha. We just came from Rome so I was hoping for a lighter roast like tazza d'oro TLDR: cute lemon grove area with decent food with some views of the ocean. You have to walk down a bit more toward the tower bur solid food + experience.

    Lobster linguini

Dinner with a group of five friends. The lobster linguini was delicious, not a lot of lobster meat but it was very flavorful. The pear ricotta cake is the best dessert we've had on our Italy trip so far. It was similar to a cheesecake but lighter and more refreshing. The lemon spritz was fresh and enjoyable in the hot weather. The house white wine was average. Warm night and not much breeze in through the restaurant. Would have been nice to have a fan. All in all, would definitely recommend!

My husband and I loved the atmosphere of Costa Diva. The lemon trees and warm welcoming from the owner and waiters were great! I'd recommend going here more during the day hours as I imagine the lemon trees and views from the restaurant would be more appealing! We loved that when we asked what the catch of the day was, our waiter directed us to the fresh fish inside and showed us our options. He even pulled one out for a funny picture, which we all got a kick out of! The food was decent, but I did feel it lacked flavor. We had the bacon and egg pasta and the catch of the day (sea bass) in lemon. I would have appreciated some spices but it was still good. We did have some of the best wine of our trip there though!

Well, it wasn't worth building a trip around it, but we did really love Amalfi Coast so in the end it worked out. As for this restaurant, I wouldn't go for dinner. Food just isn't very good. If ur in the area already (not spending crazy $ to take a water taxi or drive a distance), stop by for a cocktail. Having a drink here is worth it if you're nearby so would definitely recommend that. The bar is the only portion that's part of the cave and truly, many places along Praiano and neighboring areas r built into the cliff so it's not all that special. Unless you're arriving via water taxi, the walk to this place is a lot so wear shoes that u love to hike in-lol. We paid an additional 15Euro/pp to have VIP seating right along the water. Not worth it. U could easily sit on the patio and have equal views and experience. One of the nice things about Europe is often that they don't rush u as much as US restaurants. Not here. They were ready to grab r order immediately and when we asked to start with a drink and appetizer then order in a bit, they told us they had to put in r complete order at 1 time. Seems odd since they were able to add drinks as needed, but whatevs. The linguini with anchovy (it was more of an essence) was amazing! Would totally recommend it and we don't even like anchovies. However, everything else was meh to bad. The lamb ribs were a pile of fat and not good. The filet was really overcooked so rough to eat. The tagliatelle with ragu had almost no meat in it. Probably spent $100usd pp without alcohol and would definitely not recommend for dinner. *Tip - if you're walking back up that huge hill after drinks/dinner, stop off at the hotel just above Il Pirate and have a cocktail or dessert there. They have an elevator that will take u up to the top street that u can use if you're either a guest or dining there. I promise u it's worth the $ for the ride.

Cute decor that makes u feel like you're dining on the coast in Italy. Although they have outdoor seating and it's highlighted in most pics, we preferred sitting inside next to the open double door as it was more comfortable and not as much road noise. (There's a road between the outside dining and the restaurant) that frequently has cars & motorcycles going by. Bread was tasty & they brought sampler of sundried tomato w/cheese on skewer for each of us as part of their cover charge. We asked if they could make us a salad (b/c they didn't have one on the menu) and got a bowl of butter lettuce-lol. It doesn't seem veggies or salad is much of a thing in Italy b/c this happened at a couple restaurants. Tortellini appetizer was good. Tagliolini Tartufo was excellent and had generous amount of truffle shavings. Veal was pretty good. Rabbit (?- maybe it was lamb- can't recall) was not good- made with an Asian flavoring and NOT good. We were satisfied with service and would recommend to others if you're in the area. Spent about $75usd per person without alcohol.

The waiter provided great service and was very friendly. Gave us a great wine recommendation. We started with the seafood risotto, it was the best plate of food we had in maybe the entire trip!
