Probably one of the best places we had a meal during our trip in Italy. We were walking up the many hills and stairs and found this location at the top. It was perfect with a view of the water and the inside was decorated so nicely. Love that it was pretty much farm fresh food. You could watch them cooking your meal as it goes. The staff are nice. The environment was great. The food was perfect. Just what we needed after about 20,000 steps. It was a perfect afternoon. Highly recommend.
Food was really good, atmosphere was wonderful and super cute. I like my coffee sweet so I added some vanilla and that was my favorite . This is the 1st place we have encountered in Europe that asked for a tip, we did of course.
The interior is absolutely beautiful. Having said that I think it's a bit overhyped. The food was really fresh which we appreciated and the service was good. However, my Iced latte was essentially milk with essence of coffee. The Greek yogurt bowl had no form of sweetener like honey on it. And the açaí bowl was very tart with unripe bananas and figs on top. Their prices are also a little expensive for what they give you.
This restaurant is beautiful inside with a stunning view. I really enjoyed it here. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and even in the busy breakfast hour which I arrived in was quick to find me a table, even though the restaurant is on the smaller side. I had bananas on banana bread, which I had originally thought was bananas on toast with peanut butter. Although it wasn't what I was expecting, it was quite good and the caramelized banana was a delicious touch. The banana bread was a bit dry and not as sweet as I would have preferred, but still okay. I also ordered an iced latte, which came a bit late (I think our waitress forgot to put it in) but was very refreshing. The plate wear here is very beautiful and photogenic, like the restaurant. I hope I am lucky enough to visit here again.
Casa e Bottega is so much more than just a place to eat--it was one of the most memorable parts of our entire trip to Positano. From the moment we walked in, the owner greeted us like long-lost friends. He spoke with us as if we had known each other for years, creating an atmosphere that was warm, genuine, and absolutely unforgettable. And the food? Straight out of a magazine. Every dish was fresh, beautiful, and bursting with flavor. You could taste the love and quality in every bite. It's the kind of food that creates lasting memories. Casa e Bottega is a must if you're in Positano. In fact, it's one of the main reasons we'd come back. Thank you for making us feel like family and turning a meal into something truly special.
Beautiful little cafe and the staff are friendly! They're a busy spot, but it's worth the wait. The tuna tartare was delicious and the fried pulpa was a hit for the entire table.
What a beautiful and fun place to eat. Came here for breakfast (and next time for lunch before we leave). Waiting list online. Too about 20 minutes in a Saturday. Cute trendy place that screams non-Italian so it was a different vibe and welcoming for sure. Service in general in Italy is very different than the US. Servers and staff don't "check up" on you. Thunder you once to order and then to pay. Not ideal if you need things but you can ask them to come to your table. Food was fresh/ we had avocado toast and the breakfast style which was quite delicious and tasty. See pics: They don't have meat only fish, not sure if they intended this. No beef, pork, etc. Such a cute place, definitely a must try.

Very close to walk to from the main area. They don't take reservations. But they will try their best to get you seated soon as possible. The colors and restaurant vibes were immaculate. They bring in fresh fruit and vegetables used as organic decor and storage for what they need in their dishes. Plus they have a little shop area! It was nice to meet and chat a bit with the owner (Vito) and has 2 amazing friendly resident pups. Thanks again for the limoncello shots! Can't wait to go back!
This place was amazing. I would absolutely come back here. Cute cafe style restaurant. Also has a boutique on the other side where you can Italian linens such as tea towels, Italian bowls,plates, etc. Service was great, staff very friendly.
An amazing spot for a healthy and satisfying lunch! The food here was so fresh and tasty, one of our favorite stops in Positano. The decor is super inviting and feels like you're in a quaint farmers market surrounded by plants and cute home decor you can buy to take home with you! I ordered the Casa Bowl with seared tuna and all the veggies were so fresh--it really hit the spot after 2 weeks of indulging in Italian pasta and bread! My husband ordered the lobster sandwich they had as a special and it was AMAZING--I low key wish I had ordered it too! Overall a must stop in Positano. Tips: If you're dazzled by their breakfast menu, be sure to go early! They have a hard cut off where breakfast turns to lunch and do not serve breakfast after a certain time (I think after 11:30AM/noon). They do not take reservations so we had to wait about 20 minutes, but there are tons of shops nearby that we strolled around in while waiting!
Casa e Bottega is a beautiful restaurant sitting midway up the hillside. Their menu is less Italian centric than most other restaurants- so it's a great place to come when you're looking for a break from pasta. We came at 12pm on a Sunday and there was no wait, but it got very busy into the afternoon. They have a lot of refreshing cocktails on the menu (15euro, which is a lot here). I got a Prosecco with lemon granita that was delicious. We ordered the bruschetta, the baked rice and meatballs, and the tuna crudo with burrata. The bruschetta was good, not particularly notable. My mom ordered the baked rice, that came out almost Iike a giant rice and peas arancini. I thought this was really tasty and hearty. My favorite... the tuna crudo with apple and burrata. This was really really tasty. The tuna and small pieces of fresh apple worked really well together. And the burrata on top paired really well with the tuna. One of my favorite dishes I had in Positano! They also have a cute little store inside, so even if you're not eating there, stop in to take a peek.
Perfect start to your Positano day! We stumbled across Casa e Bottega while spending time in Positano. After having not so great breakfast in Milan, we wanted real, fresh meals to kickstart our day. We ate here two days in a row and tried a few menu items -- avocado toast, caprese salad, acai bowl, and one of their daily specials. Casa e Bottega was about a 7-minute walk from our hotel and while the restaurant was always full, we never had to wait for seating.
We came here based on my friends recommendation. The food here was delicious. It's more of a modern take on Italian food. The portion sizes are large and fair for the price. The food was very fresh and we had such great options for vegetarian and non-vegetarian. I really enjoyed the rice bowl I got and they presented it in such a pretty way it was hard to resist. The staff was so friendly and the service was a bit slow but that's because they were understaffed. The restaurant itself is such a gorgeous location. You feel like you're in a garden.
In love! Casa e Bottega is gorgeous, both for its decor and food. Would come back in a heartbeat! Stomach growling as I was walking down Viale Pasitea (the main thoroughfare in town), multiple good options caught my eye. After some Gmaps searching (sorry Yelp, again limited and some outdated data in Europe!) their beautiful IG-able interior + stellar reviews cinched the decision for me. It's both a restaurant and retail store--the latter carries local ceramics, kitchenware and home decor, many with botanical designs--capturing that quintessential coastal vibe--colors back to white. The former takes up the remaining three-quarters of the white-washed space with about two dozen tables seating about 40-50 people. Live vines hang from parts of the ceiling, pendant lighting fixtures printed with leaf patterns echo the botanical theme from the retail displays. The aesthetic rounds out with tiled floors, light wood furniture, and pillowed banquette seating mixed with individual tables, tying in designs from the home goods store. Food is new Italian--they do carry some traditional dishes though they also have a modern Mediterranean section of the menu that adds non-traditional ingredients or techniques. They also serve a variety of cocktails, fresh-squeezed or blended juices and smoothies, and coffee drinks. Lunch with an entree and drink will run you about €35-40, which is on the higher side though par for the course compared to other similar restaurants along the Amalfi Coast. I ordered the traditional fagioli cannellini, scarola, capperi, olive e calamari gratinati €26 (cannellini beans, escarole, capers, olives and gratinated calamari). This was creamy and tasty even though it had no cheese or cream, the calamari was cooked well, just tender enough, and coated with light breadcrumbs, which I appreciated as it was baked and not deep-fried. Having minimal familiarity with dish, I can only say I thought it was outstanding, good textural contrast, not too salty. Staff was the right amount of attentive without being overbearing, and though their English was limited, they strove to answer my questions on ingredients in a few of the dishes. Thank you to our driver Salvatore for this recommendation. If you want healthier style of eating in Positano with special juices, home grown fruits and veggie meals , and Vita the owner even made something special off the menu due to dietary restrictions. I had a light pasta with in house made red sauce and the most tender chicken lightly seasoned . We came for lunch and almost every table was taken and able to get in right away without a wait. Vita came to our table mutiple times to entertain and delight us with his stories. We even visited his fine dining restaurant two nights upon his recommendation. Return: absolutely read more

My family and I stopped here for brunch before our hike and couldn't decide what to order! I finally decided on the banana bread toast. It was topped with light peanut butter cream, strawberries, and caramelized bananas. SO good! This cafe was decorated so cute with all of the plants and was very clean. It was pricy ($105 for 5 entrees), but so are all the restaurants in Positano. We were just sad they weren't open for dinner! Probably my favorite place we ate on our vacation! read more
This restaurant experience was AMAZING!! The ambience, the environment, the service, the food, exceeded expectations. Also the people who own this are very personal and truly embraced the homeliness of Italian culture with a little twist!! I got the marinated salmon salad with melon and goat cheese which I HIGHLY recommend - it was light, refreshing, yet still flavorful. My dad got the lemon slush which was also a 10/10 (I'm not the biggest fan of sour items, but this drink was just sour enough and had the perfect sweet aftertaste). Will be visiting again for sure!! This spot was decorated so beautifully. Outside was so pretty , great view point right out front. Inside was very very clean. Great tourist spot. Menu was translated and the servers were very helpful. I had a ginger carrot juice. It was so so fresh and good. Avocado toast had plenty of flavor and was very filling. They have a bunch of stuff to buy that was beautiful when you first walked in. read more

Beautiful business that has thrived and upgraded tremendously over the last decade. The owner is a beautiful person that cares deeply about her business and what they put out. The Detox Waters are excellent and refreshing. Absolutely recommend for coffee and lunch. read more

Amazing!! A reason to visit Positano is this place alone. Best vegan brunch and lunch in Amalfi area. The staff are gracious and hospitable. The atmosphere is chic. Try their fresh juices, cucumber spritz, vegan avocado toast and vegan bowl. read more

Casa e Bottega had a great vibe to it, friendly staff and owner. Was not extremely impressed with the food there though. We got the French toast with fruit, and poached eggs with tomato sauce. A bit overpriced but like everything in that area, you're paying for the location. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful with lots of ceramics that were locally made. It is a good place if you're craving something other than the classic Italian breakfast and want more of a brunch experience which is what we were going for on that day. read more

Unbelievable experience. We walked in for a late lunch and were greeted by lovely staff. The inside of this restaurant's design was gorgeous and the food was amazing as well. We could feel the love and passion from the owners and their family in every bite of our meal and the freshness was second to none. read more

Why 5 stars? Because everything was so fresh and delicious. --- --- --- With all the pizza and pasta we consumed in Italy, this was a sight for sore digestive systems. Fresh juice, fruits and coffee for jet lag - yes, please! We ordered a banana smoothie and coconut juice, in addition to a cappuccino. The coffee was great, and the banana smoothie was phenomenal. The coconut juice wasn't as great - it was more pineapple flavored than coconut, but we still enjoyed it. We were saving our bellies for dinner, so we didn't eat here, but the menu looked very appetizing. In addition to food and drink, they also sold art, curtains and ceramics here. There was steady traffic of customers for that side of the business the entire time we were here. It's very light and bright inside, which is a bonus for those who love taking pictures of your food and fancy smoothies - it's really a haven for food porn! For fellow Americans visiting, you really have to flag down your server when you are ready for the bill, because they are in no hurry to bring it to you on your own. We actually didn't experience that at much as we thought in Europe, but it was definitely the case here. Overall, this was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience! read more
