O'Puledrome is in a really gorgeous location. It is a relaxing spot for dinner with a view of the boats/ocean. My partner and I shared 3 items - caprese salad, mussels, and swordfish. The caprese salad and the mussels were standard and decent, but didn't impress me. The swordfish was the catch of the day and was seasoned well and was the highlight of my meal. I definitely recommend O'Puledrone for a casual dining experience in Sorrento. The service might be a little slow, but that's a good opportunity for one to enjoy the view and cherish the moment in this beautiful coast!

This was my absolute favorite place to eat in Sorrento, and probably one of my favorite meals of the entire trip (we visited Rome, Paris, Florence, and Positano as well). -Seafood was fresh and not fishy -Calamari was my favorite calamari I've ever had -The red fish pasta was phenomenal -The seafood linguini was also really good, but red fish pasta was my favorite by far -Service was good -Loved that it is family-owned

Family wanted to try a place in Marina Grande and this was the first option based on its rating and reviews. View was great as it's next to the ocean. Service was a bit lacking as I felt we were somewhat ignored at times. 4.5/5 spaghetti with clams - perfectly al dente spaghetti. This was the highlight of our meal. Wish clams were bigger though. 4.5/5 Fried fish - sardines, shrimp, and calamari all fried. This was great. I'd order it again. 3.5/5 seafood risotto - felt the rice was a bit undercooked. Again clams were small. This would be a very good dish in the US, but here in Italy, it was maybe above average. Especially after having the same dish at Da Gigino the night before, this was not close to that. Makes me wanna go there just for their seafood risotto again. This was one of the more affordable places, but in exchange, you get less service and lower quality.

The best restaurant in all my road trip around Italy. We expended 4 days in costa amalfi, positano and sorrento. We tried different restaurants. But this one is just the best. In front of the water in marina grande. You only eat the catch of the day. So fresh and tasty. The service is amazing. The place is simple, not fancy is like a local seafood restaurant but is the most delicious sea food I had traveling around. Look for it come over!

This is the best seafood I have ever had. We had the bruschetta, seafood risotto, and mixed grilled fish. The restaurant is owned by a fisherman family and the fish is all fresh catches. The bread for the bruschetta was warm and toasted just right, with a hearty amount of oil and extremely fresh tomatoes. The seafood risotto came next. We devoured it in about 7 minutes. Finally the mixed grilled fish came. It was so fresh and cooked to perfection. We also got a litter of the house red wine. Can't recommend it enough!! The workers were very attentive and kind. When we come back we will definitely take advantage of the fishing experience offered by this restaurant!

Nice spot at the seaside. A lot of local people eat there, and the sea Food is really good. The waiter was not too friendly and more engaged to talking to the local people.

    Fried fish?!

Come here for the most freshest seafood. Family run business. Don't be on a rush. It's customary for southern Italians to eat for three hours. Service might be slow but they will not kick you out for eating for three hours either.... if you are in Sorrento you must eat SLOWWW.

We were walking down the marina in Sorrento to find some place to eat for lunch. There were many little restaurants along this marina. We walked by O'Puledrone and then came back because we saw people outside of the restaurants eating fried sardines. It looked like the popular dish at this restaurant. So, we sat down and got service instantly. We order the grilled seafood, fried calamari, fried seafood. They were all fresh. It was so delicious! The olive oil on the grilled fish was so good. I never tasted such a fragrant olive oil in my life. The owner said it came from his olive trees at home. WOW! I wanted to buy it but he wasn't selling it.

    Grilled calamari, so fresh!

Amazing place. Simple, fresh fare served by warm local fishing families. Prices are amazing, walk up the hill and pay double and won't be as good. Don't expect super fancy here. Just fresh coastal cooking the way rye have done it for generations. One of owners we talked to is 7th generation fisherman "I was born up there, now live there" ( pointing above resto and then Three windows over) have one more night in Sorrento and likely going back. He even offered to drive us back up to top of town to our hotel but we needed to walk off the awesome meal.

We had a great meal! Ravioli, risotto with seafood and the daily special of octopus. Lively atmosphere, and fun service. It was great!

She said her steak was disappointing. It was "dry and stringy". But for those of us who ordered fish as our main courses, it was perfection. Maybe seafood is their strength. Absolutely LOVED the Medallion of mozzarella in carrozza on tomato coulis and black olive sand. I could have made an entire meal out of that. We then had the pasta linguine with "scapece" zucchini and burrata cheese from Monti Lattari. Highly recommend. Came out beautifully. I was too impatient to eat it that I forgot to take a pic first. It was beautifully plated though. I had the Wood-smoked red snapper fillet. It had a semolina, lemon and saffron crust, and rested upon roasted potato and basil cream. Delicious. Perfectly cooked. I took a bite of the Sea bass fillet with orange sauce and capers. The oranges are grown in the Sorrento garden. I liked the sea bass even more than my own. I've been to Sorrento 4x now and this was easily my favorite meal I've ever had here.

The chef's starter was not my favorite, very mushy textures for the burrata esque one and the octopus one, but the potato one was fine. The bread basket with an assortment of breads is delicious. The Giglio pasta with salmon comes moving which is cool, but it was also very unique and good. The catch of the day was solid. The gnocco was great, but also my vegetarian family got the dish modified so who knows what it was supposed to taste like actually lol. The tiramisu was very different but good and the tiramisu espresso martini was out of this world tbh

Dish was under seasoned and both the beef filling and tortillas didn't taste that great Broccoli and eel risotto- 6/10. Couldn't taste much flavor from broccoli, eel pieces were tiny, and risotto was undercooked at the top. At the bottom it was better and I'm guessing it's because as the dish cooled, the bottom kept cooking longer. It wasn't served to me hot either. I didn't even end up finishing it. Tagliolini- 8/10. Good flavor, but nothing special. We had better pasta elsewhere that was also much cheaper. Seabass- 8.5/10. At least the cook on the seabass was good. but again nothing special Beef cheeks- 8.5/10. Same- solid but nothing I'd write home about. Overall, this has been the least impressive Michelin starred meal I've experienced in a while. The lack of flavor and unevenly and undercooked risotto was really disappointing. And the prices are way higher than what the meal is worth. Would recommend skipping this spot.
