La Moressa in Praiano is an absolute go to restaurant ! We loved it so much that we ate here at least three times in one week. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home each time we visited. The pasta and pizza are simply outstanding - some of the best we've ever had. The service is impeccable, a true 10/10 experience. And let's not forget the stunning view, which adds an extra layer of magic to the dining experience. the drinks were great too! Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Praiano. You won't be disappointed!

Grilled Squid stuffed with pumpkin and a cheese sauce

The main course was a delicious lobster with a sauce and small grilled salad with red and yellow peppers. It was so good I went back with my guests when they arrived. The pizzas were great and just as good the next day. Desserts sampled were the lemon tiramisu, panne cotte and crème brûlée All very pleasing to the palate. The cappuccino was silky smooth.

Paccheri filled with local cheese and truffle in yellow and red tomatoes sauce and basil sauce

Food is very good. Their pizza sizes are big, so perfect to split. Their espresso is also very good. We came here like every day.

Went here for dinner while in Praiano, we stayed in Costa Diva and took the quick hike up to the restaurant. Super convenient! We had the scallops, salmon ceviche, pacherri, and lemon and shrimp pasta and they all were AMAZING. The service was great as well. Would recommend! Every dish was so flavorful.

This was my final meal on the Amalfi Coast, and it didn't disappoint. Lovely view and good service.

The food was really good. Perfect view from our table. The service was excellent. I highly recommend.

La Moressa was right under the place we were staying and was our first meal in Italy, and it really set our standards high!! We loved the pizza so much we ordered it to go to our apartment some of our nights!

Set high above the sea in Praiano, this restaurant was well worth the climb! The servers and staff were excellent and the food delicious! We had a delicious limoncello spritz cocktail ! For starters, grilled Calamari. For mains: Pizza, and filet with onion sauce and potatoes! Unfortunately, we couldn't stay for dessert because it started to rain!

Everything here was delicious! Probably the best pasta I've had in Italy. Our server, Vincent, was incredible and when he found out one of us was gluten free he came out with a gluten free roll just for him. 10/10. We'll be back here!

The crunchy egg was one of the most unique dishes i've had (and i eat out a lot!). The steak portions were huge and they gave us a glass of complementary Prosecco at the beginning of our meal, loved this experience!

Well, it wasn't worth building a trip around it, but we did really love Amalfi Coast so in the end it worked out. As for this restaurant, I wouldn't go for dinner. Food just isn't very good. If ur in the area already (not spending crazy $ to take a water taxi or drive a distance), stop by for a cocktail. Having a drink here is worth it if you're nearby so would definitely recommend that. The bar is the only portion that's part of the cave and truly, many places along Praiano and neighboring areas r built into the cliff so it's not all that special. Unless you're arriving via water taxi, the walk to this place is a lot so wear shoes that u love to hike in-lol. We paid an additional 15Euro/pp to have VIP seating right along the water. Not worth it. U could easily sit on the patio and have equal views and experience. One of the nice things about Europe is often that they don't rush u as much as US restaurants. Not here. They were ready to grab r order immediately and when we asked to start with a drink and appetizer then order in a bit, they told us they had to put in r complete order at 1 time. Seems odd since they were able to add drinks as needed, but whatevs. The linguini with anchovy (it was more of an essence) was amazing! Would totally recommend it and we don't even like anchovies. However, everything else was meh to bad. The lamb ribs were a pile of fat and not good. The filet was really overcooked so rough to eat. The tagliatelle with ragu had almost no meat in it. Probably spent $100usd pp without alcohol and would definitely not recommend for dinner. *Tip - if you're walking back up that huge hill after drinks/dinner, stop off at the hotel just above Il Pirate and have a cocktail or dessert there. They have an elevator that will take u up to the top street that u can use if you're either a guest or dining there. I promise u it's worth the $ for the ride.

It took a minute to find the restaurant because you have to walk down a lot of stairs to get to the bottom of the mountain (like most places along the Amalfi Coast). The food was AMAZING -- one of the best meals when we were in Italy! I had the pasta with anchovies at the recommendation of our server; I'm not an anchovies gal, but this was DELICIOUS. The ricotta and pear cheesecake was also one of the best that I've had. Would highly recommend. And of course, the views are amazing!

The atmosphere is absolutely breathtaking, romantic, elegant, and uniquely Positano. Every detail was perfection. The service was flawless, warm, and incredibly attentive, but what truly made the night unforgettable was the legendary Maître D', who has been with La Sponda for 44 years. His charm, professionalism, and passion for hospitality elevated the entire experience and made us feel genuinely special. Then there were the roaming musicians, who have been at La Sponda for 33 years performing!! They transformed dinner into something straight out of a movie. The music floating through the candlelit restaurant created an energy and emotion that simply cannot be replicated. La Sponda is not just a restaurant, it is THE Positano experience. I had this prawn appetizer which was cold and the prawn was barely cooked. Yikes. I still ate it trusting the chef. The sauce it was in tasted like baby food. Then i had the seafood rissoto. It tasted undercooked to me. Not al dente. The fish was barely seasoned. Then i had the veal. It wasn't impressive either. All food was recommended from my waiter. With that said, my drink was good. Service was nice. Beautiful ambiance. Don't make reservations for dinner. Go to their bar instead.
