5 stars for ambiance. My goal this trip to Italy was see a coastal town. Found a tour to Positano Stopped in here and was lucky to grab a table on the terrace with an ocean view. great spot for photos. The area is known for lemons and hence limoncello. Limoncello Spritzer Limon sorbetto Also had a strawberry cheese cake and lemon cake. Both were fresh and light. Perfect snack, Friendly cashier

Grabbed breakfast here twice during our stay in Positano. If your hotel doesn't serve breakfast, it is a quick stop, not too expensive, and it is open early. Both days we got coffees and pastries and they were good! No complaints.

Loved the pizza with buffalo mozzarella! Out of this world!! Def go here if you are in Positano and order the pizza and the limoncello spritz

What a nice place to drink coffee on the way to the beach. Coffee is good and the view is great. Stopped here few times.

Dropped in to cool off and have some gelato. They have free wi-fi too so that was a plus. It's cooler with a breeze on a hit day. Not a big selection but enough to get us through and cooled down while checking our messages. Plus great view of beach here.

Wonderful cafe!! My fiancé and I stepped in here during a stop in Positano during a CityWonders excursion we took. We sat outside and had a view of the beach. We ordered a panini and calzone to share. I also got a lemon drop martini and it was very good (and strong on the alcohol!). We came back again the next day as we took our own trip to the beach. We got coffees and a pastry. We again came back after the beach and enjoyed some ice cream, coffee, and an espresso martini (again, delicious and strong!). The cafe has great wifi connection and also provides various charging ports free of charge so you can charge your phone.

Paradise Cafe is wonderful. For having an incredible view of the water and beach from the patio, it's amazing how good the food, service and prices are. Finding soya milk has been a bit difficult in Positano but Paradise Cafe has it and gives you a generous amount for your tea. The barista also did an amazing job steaming soya for my Cafe latte. The cafe drinks are about 3 euros each unlike some of the other overpriced restaurants with the same view that charge 9 euros for a cafe. The service is so friendly and helpful. The indoor and outdoor seating are clean. The food and dessert options are easy on the eyes as well as absolutely delicious. A great place to grab pizza and beer or stop by for tea and dessert anytime during the day. We were in Positano for two days and visited this cafe for both days. I would recommend this place if you're looking for good food and good prices. If you want an upscale ambiance, then this place is not for you.

Nice little place to grab a bite to eat and get a coffee with great views. Ordered a slice of pizza which was excellent, ice coffee and lemon cello. The ice coffee is quite strong. The lemon cello is quite sweet and found it much better watered down (but I noticed that was trend for all of them).

This was a nice/fun little suprise when we stumbled acrossed it in positano. It is much more than just a cafe with pastries and gelatto. They have a full bar, with local wines and Beers, and 4 big screen TVs to show all the local soccer matches. We went to Paradise a few times, one of the times Napoli was playing Florence in a soccer match and a bunch of locals were there. Even the local tourist who were visiting from Napoli or Sorrento were in there watching the game. (Napolie is little over 2 hours away) The view from the covered patio seating is pretty sweet. You can see the entire beach and ships out in the bay. Its a great little place to grab some Gelatto, pastries, or even a beer to watch the game.

Good quick service bar with a solid selection of craft beers, panino, pizza, and a great view over the beach.

Great view over the beach with tables and no need to pay for table service. Start your day here!

Well, it wasn't worth building a trip around it, but we did really love Amalfi Coast so in the end it worked out. As for this restaurant, I wouldn't go for dinner. Food just isn't very good. If ur in the area already (not spending crazy $ to take a water taxi or drive a distance), stop by for a cocktail. Having a drink here is worth it if you're nearby so would definitely recommend that. The bar is the only portion that's part of the cave and truly, many places along Praiano and neighboring areas r built into the cliff so it's not all that special. Unless you're arriving via water taxi, the walk to this place is a lot so wear shoes that u love to hike in-lol. We paid an additional 15Euro/pp to have VIP seating right along the water. Not worth it. U could easily sit on the patio and have equal views and experience. One of the nice things about Europe is often that they don't rush u as much as US restaurants. Not here. They were ready to grab r order immediately and when we asked to start with a drink and appetizer then order in a bit, they told us they had to put in r complete order at 1 time. Seems odd since they were able to add drinks as needed, but whatevs. The linguini with anchovy (it was more of an essence) was amazing! Would totally recommend it and we don't even like anchovies. However, everything else was meh to bad. The lamb ribs were a pile of fat and not good. The filet was really overcooked so rough to eat. The tagliatelle with ragu had almost no meat in it. Probably spent $100usd pp without alcohol and would definitely not recommend for dinner. *Tip - if you're walking back up that huge hill after drinks/dinner, stop off at the hotel just above Il Pirate and have a cocktail or dessert there. They have an elevator that will take u up to the top street that u can use if you're either a guest or dining there. I promise u it's worth the $ for the ride.

It took a minute to find the restaurant because you have to walk down a lot of stairs to get to the bottom of the mountain (like most places along the Amalfi Coast). The food was AMAZING -- one of the best meals when we were in Italy! I had the pasta with anchovies at the recommendation of our server; I'm not an anchovies gal, but this was DELICIOUS. The ricotta and pear cheesecake was also one of the best that I've had. Would highly recommend. And of course, the views are amazing!
