I told her that I would be more than grateful to have whatever the kitchen would make for me. My group ordered and she brought us complimentary WiFi passwords as we waited, all the while smiling and cracking jokes. The chef--a sweet woman who poked her head out to give me the thumbs-up on making something vegan--whipped up a delicious grilled vegetable sandwich on pizza crust bread and despite having to custom-make it, they only charged me for the basic pizza-bread sandwich on their menu (€9). We were happily surprised by how reasonable the prices were compared to restaurants up the main strip that were in a less scenic location and were not as aesthetically pleasing. After exploring Positano and Amalfi, the whole group agreed that meeting Patrizia was the best part of our day.
