One of our favorite places in Amalfi. We love the ambiance with its local wine shop charm. The service is amazing and the food is exceptional. We had the seafood carbonara spaghetti with clams, mussels, calamari garlic so delicious. My wife had the eggplant parmigiana and everything was so fresh and outstanding. We saved room for the local lemon cake chilled with a creme limone icing that cannot be described but you must try it. So glad we found the Yelp reviews on this restaurant in Amalfi!!! We had the traditional pasta dishes from this area - pasta with beef and carrots (absolutely DELICIOUS, like comfort food) and the pasta with clams and lemon (also delicious, but we preferred the beef dish of the two). We shared the lemon cake dessert which was outstanding!! The owner assisted us - her service was superlative!! She recommended the best wine to pare with my dish. The place was quiet from the busy and loud street which was very welcome after a noisy and crowded morning in Amalfi. Ambiance was casual and friendly. Highly recommend! I ate here with my wife and two kids. Every dish was good - one of them was amazing! Of special note - we mentioned that my wife is allergic to shellfish. The chef took extreme care to cook using new pans to avoid any possibility of contamination. Owner was the one that served us. Feels like we walked into her kitchen. All the cups are handmade and she puts a personal touch to it. Felt like a house kitchen. Got the lobster for 26 euros. She said it was fresh caught that day. The pasta came w half of a lobster which is not bad for the price. I didn't like the pasta it came in but the lobster was good. The lasagna though for 16euros was excellent. Had the amalfi wine for 10 euros but that was too full body for me. We had a very nice experience coming here. read more

WOW! I never go in a restaurant with pictures of the food on the wall outside--usually that signals a tourist spot where they rely on new people every day to stay in business. Kids were starving, most places nearby opened at 19:00 and we were hungry at 16:30. I assumed we'd be eating a basic meal to keep the kids alive. Could not have been more mistaken . Great food--next level delicious. Every dish was great. Owners were amazing and attentive. Food came quickly and was piping hot. Cleaned every plate--kids were so in love with the food they forgot to save room for dessert. Never had that happen before in any city with gelato! read more

It came with homemade bread and was plenty for lunch for the two of us. We also stopped in for drinks before dinner and the wine was served with homemade eggplant, bread and potatoes with house made lemon mayonnaise (amazing). Skip the touristy square and walk up to this gem of a find. Wonderful experience! I came in for the nice ambience but was nicely surprised by the great food and great wine recommendations. I had the stuffed squid which was great. I also had a caramel pancake that was homemade which was delicious. I also tried four different white wines that I can't pronounce that were excellent. The woman at the front was very friendly and conversational. It was my second to last day on my trip to Amalfi and I managed to make one more special memory here before I left. We were walking around looking for a place to have dinner and drinks. This place caught our eye. Our dinners were great! The lady who was waiting on us was a true wine expert. We told her what we liked and she selected different wines for each of us and they were perfect.
