Today (July 1, 2026), I paid for the most expensive Aperol Spritz on the entire Amalfi Coast: €15! The menu is misleading. It lists "Aperol €7," which is a perfectly normal price for any bar, but it doesn't make it clear that the Prosecco is not included. In the end, I was charged €13 for the Aperol Spritz, plus an additional €2 table service fee, which consisted only of serving the drink and a small bowl of potato chips. I ended up paying twice as much as I would have at almost any other place in the area. When I asked if there had been a mistake, I was told that it was because Amalfi is so expensive. Being a tourist destination does not justify a misleading menu or such an excessive price. I definitely do not recommend this place read more

We only stopped here for water, espresso (which they gave us a regular coffee), and croissant and it was awful. We stopped for a table for my in-laws to sit at but this could have been skipped entirely. They pull you in with their charm and gut you with the prices. We stopped that night for a lemon sorbet that every other place offers, but with that and a water, we left with a €60 bill for sorbet and water. INSANE. €3 cover per person, FIFTEEN EURO for lemon sorbet that should be €3 max, and €5 for a sparkling water. Kept calling me queen and princess to schmooze me, and then hands us the bill and doesn't take card!?? So we had to go to the ATM for something that should have been pocket change. We ordered a cappuccino and a beer, it was already a rip off at €5 for a cappuccino and £7 euro for a small bottle of peroni. When we got the bill they charged an extra £3 service charge per item. So the sh$t tasting coffee was actually €8 and the beer €10. After an argument, as they argue the service charge is shown in small print on the menu folder cover (like anyone would see it), so I called the police and when the police arrived and saw who the owner was - they backed off. What a rip off! My wife ordered wine at nine euros a glass when the waiter started pouring he just kept pouring more more and my wife said that's wonderful. We then ordered taglia Bolognese and spaghetti with clams. Both were subpar. Then my wife ordered another glass and again the waiter poured it rather full and my wife thought it was nice. When we got the bill, they charged $18 for the glass of wine twice. The whole bottle only cost €30. They ended up charging us €36 for less than a bottle. as some of the reviews have said they are very nice when you are greeted and then turn into mafioso upon eating there they take their time And get poor service and then after €109 for our meal said they only take cash. We then waited for menus for 5 minutes and the people who sat themselves next to us, were given menus and ordered before we we had even gotten our menus. Not surprising, they got their food before us. We waited another 10 minutes for our food, only to have one of our meals not delivered. My wife and I did a boat tour from Sorrento to Amalfi. We stopped here to get food because it was in the shade. Unfortunately we should have looked at reviews. We ordered a margherita pizza, gin and lemon, and aperol spritz. My gin and lemon was ok but but my wife's aperol spritz just tasted like aperol. The pizza was sadly our first pizza to try in Italy and it was one of the worst things I've ever tasted. Luckily we grabbed a slice of pizza in Sorrento the next day to help us forget we ever ate such garbage. Stay away from this place. read more

Bought a lemon sorbet at the attached ice cream shop. It turned out to be very overpriced compared to the rest of town. And then the waitstaff kicked us out of the sidewalk cafe. It turns out the cafe and the attached ice cream shop were two separate entities, and ice cream was takeout only. There were no signs explaining this. read more

a guy outside the restaurant was very persuasive to pull us into this restaurant so i knew it was not going to be a good restaurant. i'm actually laughing seeing the rating on this place because i wasn't expecting it to be this badly rated. the service was very slow and i was running late for something, they promised us the food would come out in 10 minutes, it came out in 30. the sandwich was 90% bread, 10% substance. i'm not giving it 1 star because we both finished our meals and it was okay. just don't eat here, don't let them pull you in. read more

The owner forced us to order 2 large pies even though we told him that we would order the second one after we see the size of the first one & if we were able to finish it. He was not willing to let us order one pie & wanted us to leave. He didn't even know the size of the regular pizza. WE SHOULD HAVE WALKED AWAY. I'm standing to leave this restaurant and already leaving a review, that's how annoyed by my experience I am. We waited forever to even get a menu, had to ask for one after sitting for at least 15 minutes and watching others get menus right away. Had to wait ages for a server to take our drink order which we promptly placed food orders for fear that no one would come back. I ordered a salad with chicken and a side of French fries, my husband a pizza with mushrooms and prosciutto. The fries and the pizza came out at the same time which was fine. My salad did not but I assumed it was because it's a small table. We shared the fries and my husband nearly finished his pizza and still no salad. I finally decided to ask, apparently it was never coming because the server didn't write the order in. I waited and ultimately got a salad, my husband went to use the restroom and commented that there is no toilet seat in case anyones wondering. Also, they don't tell you but it is cash only. The lemon risotto was actually pretty good but the seafood spaghetti looked nothing like the photo. No real seafood at all, just seafood flavor. We purchased a small cup of gelato to "take away". We were actually over charged. Charging us 5,00 Euro instead of the correct 3,00 Euro. This place will rob you if you try and have wine shipped back to your home country... my friend and I visited in September 2019, and they have refused to provide customs with the proper documentation and LIED to US customs about what was in the box... telling them it was just ceramic bottle filled with oil... We spent over 300 Euro on wine and shipping.. when we finally got a hold of them and told them what we needed they responded ".
