Get their special for the day! You know it's going to be homemade and good. I got the lasagna and I have no complaints. My wife ordered the pizza and did not like it. This is a cute family run spot, pretty casual and has a nice terrace with views. Gerry, the owner, seems to always be there and he is very friendly. read more

Stopped in for a glass of vino and a pizza. This is a smallish place with several tables close together. The atmosphere is nice, with expansive views from the deck of the nearby mountains. Service was efficient. We had caprice salad and pizza with ham and mushrooms. The food was fine but would have benefited from oregano and salt. read more

Gerry's pub is the best! We stayed at one of his air bnbs, and went down to his pub for dinner one night. First of all, his hospitality is above par. As his wife, the chef, and his server. It is a family run business and truly feels like a family business. Gerry is there from open to close every day, I think. He did mention that he closes up shop for a few months in the winter time though. The menu is quite large for a pub style restaurant. His wife is obviously a great cook. We enjoyed some homemade seafood pastas and grilled fish while we were there. The bar is also pretty extensive, with a large specialty cocktail list. Italy has some funny ideas about cocktails - don't go expecting craft style American martinis anywhere in Italy! We enjoyed several Proseccos while dining The pub is located in Pergola - a charming town above Amalfi. Basically you drive to Amalfi town and then just bear north up the cliffs! Follow signs for Pergila. It's adorable and the views from the town are of course spectacular. If you're staying nearby, for sure stop in here! Tell Gerry we said hi. read more

Made it up d hill 2 eat here. Well worth the drive. Beautiful view while enjoying a really good afternoon pasta (with seafood) and another with mozzarella and eggplant. Delish!! Gerry Gerry Gerry. You are a true treat. I wish we had more time to hang at this lovely establishment but we stopped in for 10 minutes and had the time of our lives. I was with my best friends on an Italy trip and we heard the story behind Gerry's pub and had to make sure we stopped in for a quick drink, or what ended up being a shot, and we are so glad we did. We get to Gerry's and we are immediately welcomed by him, the man, the myth, the legend himself. We only had a short amount of time before our scheduled taxi arrived after our dinner, so we ended up coming for a shot. He asks us what our favorite music and we tell him, and he immediately puts it on the loud speaker and it became a full blown dance party and amazing time at Gerry's. We weren't here for more then ten minutes and had the absolute best time of our lives. So again, thank you Gerry, for making our trip absolutely amazing and if you are ever in Amalfi pay this man a visit, you will not be disappointed, and better yet you will love it! read more

If you are going to Amalfi or the surrounding areas (or have been) you will come to find cabs are expensive as hell and if you stay in an air bnb outside of the main cities getting to and from sucks ($50 cab rides for 10-15 minutes). So what to do when you want delivery and to eat in and relax for a night? Call gerrys pub. He delivers!! I'd recommend a minimum 50 euro order however. Brought us pizzas water and Nutella! The best part was the pizza was actually pretty good and he delivered within an hour. It's definitely a good option and you can even go to the actual pub For a drink food and live music too. read more

Gerry's is amazing. Me and my girl stayed in Amalfi, and we took a very scenic bus ride that left us right in front of it. The restaurant has a balcony that overlooks a cliff. The view is beautiful. Gerry himself was there, and he was super friendly. He was happy and very enthusiastic about his business. When our food was being made, he came to chat with us about Italy and our travels, it was very welcoming. But the food really made the whole experience over the top. We ordered chicken and spinach, had some wine. For desert, ice cream and waffles. It was the best food I had in Italy. When the bill came, I expected it to be pretty high because the service was so great, but it wasn't. Definitely one of the smallest bills we had during our travels. Everything about the place is warm and welcoming. A must see for anyone staying in Amalfi. read more

We were staying at the hotel just below Pogerola, and walking up into town was a real treat - Gerry's was a very cozy, family-run restaurant with great food and service. Well worth the 20 min bus ride up the hill from Amalfi - - great place to take a break from the crowds and tourists below! Amazing views at the top, and Gerry's has patio seating on the back overlooking the valley and hills. Gerry himself is super friendly and accommodating. It's a small family owned place with a good sized menu of homemade seafood, pasta, pizza. We had two different pasta dishes, a pizza and the lemon desert - - we'd recommend them all!! It's also much cheaper than in the more busy tourist areas. €10 for a 1L carafe of house wine! Both of our pastas were less than that too. There's also a ~35 min walking path behind the pub to return to Amalfi if you're feeling adventurous. We'd definitely recommend this place and would eat/drink/enjoy the views from here again! read more

I wish there 10 stars for Gerry and his delightful pub. We visited Amalfi earlier this year and were looking for something fun to do on a rainy night. GUYS, Gerry came and picked us up to take us to his pub in his own car!! He and sister are adorable and they cooked us the best meal. After the meal, Gerry performed a private concert for us with his accordion. He even let me try to play it! THEN, we met some new friends from Italy and Germany and had an unforgettable night with drinks. THEN, GERRY GAVE US A RIDE HOME!!!! We were there during the off season and they basically opened the bar for us after we called a couple times. In the summer, Gerry said the pub is packed and they have a patio with live music. We had Gerry's pub cater a dinner party for 60 guests while we were in Amalfi/Ravello for our son's wedding. The food Gerry prepared was absolutely delicious. We had arranged ahead of time a preliminary menu, and when we arrived in Amalfi, had lunch at Gerry's to sample the food. He didn't disappoint! The two dishes were a meat lasagne and cacio y pepe. The lasagne was the best we had while in Italy -- it was a special family recipe of his wife's. The guests loved the food! Gerry was also able to help us with a last minute dessert, arranging for petit pastries that were amazing! Gerry's staff delivered the food to our villa and it was on-time and piping hot. He did an incredible job for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Gerry's pub not only for catering, but also for the restaurant itself which was wonderful! This was our favorite restaurant while staying in the cute village. We ate there 4 out of 7 nights. Gerry does almost everything there except for the cooking which is done by his lovely wife and fabulous! On our last night in Almalfi we found Gerry's. First of all, we called because we thought we were lost. Gerry answered and even offered to meet us down the road to be sure we found our way. We got there and we were not disappointed!! He welcomed us with a hand shake and gave us excellent service all night. The company at the bar and Gerry's whole family was there to make us happy. Good drinks and when Gerry got on the microphone with good songs and music it made it even better! What a night. My husband and I stayed there all night chatting with other travelers and we felt so welcome! What a night! Gerry kept the drinks coming till we left. His wife is the cook and she is amazing!
