This is a family run, quaint restaurant in Sorrento. There are no reservations, it is first come first served. There are maybe 8-10 tables, mostly for parties of 2-4. There is a constant line outside of the restaurant throughout the entire time they're open. The line begins on the other side by the church. If you're wondering whether it's worth the wait, it is! It took us about an hour to be seated on a Monday night. Once seated, the family is so sincere, doesn't rush you at all, and gets to know their customers. You can tell they truly enjoy what they do and seeing people enjoy their food. Both of our gnocchi entrees were pillowy, flavorful, and had a generous portion. We ended dinner with tiramisu and this was one of the best tiramisus I've ever had. The owner was impressed by how fast we inhaled it.

A friend gave us a list of places to try and this was at the top of the list. It's a good thing that we took the time to explore before we did the meal so we understood that you had to wait in line across the street and wait for the manager/owner to wave you over. There is no checking in. You just stand in line. The menu was great. We had to sit inside which was fine. It was a little warm, but the food was fantastic. The staff was very engaging and it was definitely worth the trip.

This was undoubtedly our favorite restaurant in Sorrento. They don't accept reservations so you have to wait in line. We hopped in line at 6:30 and waited about 20 minutes to get a table. The restaurant is small but cozy. Everything was delicious from start to end. The bruschetta was to die for, the prosciutto was some of the best I've ever had. The gnocchi and pesto pasta were top notch and the fish was simple yet satisfying. To top it all off we split a pistachio cannoli and it was heavenly.

Absolutely the best dinner I've had in Italy!!! Worth the wait for sure. But everything I tasted was amazing and our waitress was fun and helpful!!

Absolutely wonderful! Hubby and I grabbed lunch when they opened first thing and the place was filled within 15 minutes of opening. We ordered: Buffalo Mozzarella w Cherry Tomatoes: so good! Pesto Pasta: the best I've ever had. Perfectly Al Dente and so flavorful. Cheese Ravioli: Creamy and hearty. Tiramisu: Excellent and highly recommend. We asked the owner for some house wine recommendations and they were perfection.

Spaghetti Enjoy and Fettuccine with cream sauce and walnuts and honey. Strawberry Spritz to top it off!!

Enjoy the little things bistro Ate here twice on my 5 days in Sorrento. Would have been three times but they are closed on wednesdays :[ The food, the drinks, the desserts, the service. the vibes are all 10/10. The meat and cheese plate was one of the best I've had in my life! The shrimp pasta, spaghetti and meatballs special, the salads, the pizza, the lemon cake desserts and the cannoli OMG... are all excellent. The fotos all speak for themselves. Order a lemon spritz and the meat snd cheese plate and go from there :] thank you!

Enjoy is a small, family run restaurant that has great food, service and wine! We went our first night in Sorrento based off the great reviews we saw on google and yelp and they did not let us down! It was our favorite meal in Sorrento, so much so we went back for our last meal in Sorrento as well. We had to wait 1 hour to 1.5 hours but it was absolutely worth it. We tried the mezze maniche con 'Njuda calabrese, gnocci alla"carratella", spaghetti al vongole, fettuccini paglia e fieno, and the ligure brushette. It was all so amazing and some of our favorite pasta dishes we've had on our whole trip! You are guaranteed to enjoy this meal. The owners are so sweet and even gave us a hug when we told them it was our last night in Sorrento!

We wanted seafood because when in Sorrento...why not opt for super fresh seafood right by the coast?! Our server recommended a really delicious local red that was super reasonably priced and we enjoyed with said red: For Primi -- *Gnocchi alla sorrentina (Sorrento-style Gnocchi): I mean...we kinda had to get a regional specialty right? Gnocchi here is potato based instead. It was SO delicious - still perfect texture. They also served this HOT HOT HOT with melty cheese. So delicious and a really generous portion!! *Spaghettoni alle vongole (Pasta with Clams): Another favorite for us in general so figured a really fresh version could be stellar and it didn't disappoint! This slightly edged out the gnocchi for me flavor-wise, but the gnocchi was dang good so it just goes to show how DELISH this was!!! For Secondi -- *Grigliata mista di pesce (mixed grilled fish - this was an incredible plate of such fresh seafood. There was various fish, a giant prawn, octopus alll grilled & seasoned to perfection! *Swordfish special! -- apparently it was swordfish season and it was a 'fresh catch' and I feel like you could tell! Really lovely and nicely seasoned. Portions were very generous & we were way too full for dessert at this point! So you could probably eat more "American" style here (Just 1 entree instead of our approach), but the menu here is pretty stellar!!!

I had been bit by a crab a number of times at Amalfi earlier in the day. I decided to return the favor and had the excellent crab with squid ink pasta. I will say that the crab was a lot of work, it was also a delicious crab. The squid ink pasta itself was perfectly al dente. Added a second course of a local fish with cherry tomatoes, also delicious. Family enjoyed their dinner as well.

Or to enjoy a glass of wine while watching all the people coming and going. I passed by so many times as this was on the path between my hotel and the shopping area, east of the Piazza Tasso, I finally decided to stop and give my feet a rest. Surprisingly affordable for a bar in the heart of Sorrento, I had a glass of red wine and opted for veal scaloppini for a late afternoon meal. The veal was very thin and quickly pan fried with a lovely lemony sauce balanced by briney capers. It was delicious and a welcomed reprieve from all the pasta I had been eating since I arrived. Others around me were enjoying pizza, pasta and gelato on a bright, sunny, 80 degree day in October. Sitting here surrounded by the incredible architecture of the buildings in this square was a quintessential Sorrento experience.

Specializes in pizza but also makes other entrees as well. A Ristorante which is a little more up scale with the waiters in tuxedos, table clothes, and fancy silverware. But my favorite of the places to eat are the Bars. Bars in Italy aren't like what you typically think of a bar in the States. They are restaurants but usually half the price of the "Ristorantes". Chances are the food will be just as good but served in a more casual environment. Which brings me to one of my favorite places to eat in Sorrento, Bar del Carmine. Since being in here we have eaten here a couple times, here's a few things we've order: Tuna salad and chicken salads: both are great. I'd order it everytime I come to Carmine's. Very fresh, a nice combination of flavors, meat, bell peppers, fresh mozzarella, corn, onions, olives, articoke hearts, and carrots. They don't serve any Thousand Island, Ranch, or Italian dressing out here. There's only one choice which is delicious, olive oil and Vino Blanco. Cheeseburger: not anything like the American Standard for a burger but still good. Small patty, the main focus is mozzarella and the tomatoes. So if you are expecting an In & Out burger, ForgetAboutIt... Pizza: only thing bad at Bar del Carmine is the pizza. Probably the worst pizza I have eaten in Italy. But pizza should be from the pizzeria anyway. Service is always good. Prices much more reasonable. Comfortable and casual with great people watching being that it is located in the center of Piazzo Tasso.
