Yelp delivered another great recommendation. We found a great breakfast spot with many different options and tasty food. Quick and friendly service, relaxing atmosphere and easy to find convenient location.

Favorite spot when we wanted American breakfast! Great location with cute decor, you feel like you're in a Wes Anderson film. The staff is very quick, but they give you space to enjoy your food. Lots of options, I can see how is a great spot for tourist. I enjoyed it!

We wandered into Mo'Mo' on our walk back from the beach club and boy are we glad we did! I got the Caprese panini and a side of fries to share. I love how fries are served with mayo everywhere in Europe. Normalize mayo on fries! It is so good. The only reason I docked a star was the fact that my sandwich was dry. The cheese had hardened and was not gooey at all. I ended up dousing the sandwich in olive oil to help soften the hard edges. Excellent flavor! I just wish the sandwich was a little easier to eat.

Best Fettuccine Bolognese I've ever had! That's it. That's the review! so full of perfect flavor, you can taste how fresh the tomatoes are, and how fresh the pasta is .

    Panino Caprese

Located in the heart of Sorrento in the Piazza Sant'Antonino you'll find Mo'Mo' Kitchen & Bar. A charming sidewalk cafe which is the perfect place for a casual afternoon lunch. The Panino Caprese was delicious, baked crispy and oh that gooey fresh Buffalo Mozzarella that the Neapolitan area if Italy is so well known for and couldn't be better. If you never been to this part of Italy, the flavor of mozzarella cheese is indescribable because mozzarella cheese in the US (in my opinion) is tasteless, bland and often rubbery. The Panino Gustoso is better known as the Cheese Burger, but made fresh and with all the farm toppings and side salad to make it just right! Our server Nello was pleasant and attentive and the experience of having lunch in Sorrento at a sidewalk cafe was really quite memorable!

Good location for people watching, but food and service for breakfast/ brunch were just OK. We stopped at Mo'Mo' Kitchen & Bar on a Friday morning after arriving in Sorrento, looking to order some breakfast/brunch as we waited for our hotel room to become available. We sat at a table for two outside along with a few other couples and families. The location was convenient (near our hotel La Favorita) and the seats were great for people watching, as we saw numerous walking tours pass by during our meal. Breakfast/brunch food selection was somewhat limited, and we went with a couple of basic pastries and a cappuccino. The brioche was decent, but the croissant had a strange taste. The service was not great, as we had to flag down our server multiple times for multiple things (placing our order, getting our check, etc). Overall, Mo'Mo' was ok - not bad, not great - but in a city like Sorrento with so many options, you can find something better.

    Boiled octopus with potatoes

Came here on a day trip to Sorrento. It stood out bc of its location and easy breezy decor. We had the Octopus with potatoes, fried fish platter, grilled sea bass. The octopus was my favorite and I highly recommend getting it. The fried fish platter was okay, and would have been perfect if they added a little salt to the dish. The best part of the meal was the drinks. The drinks were all amazing. I highly recommend trying the Gin Mare. It was one of the best gin drink I've ever had!

Gelato with fluffy nougat and chocolate sauce!

So happy this place was still opened when every other place was closed. The head waiter was excellent and made sure we got our gelato fix. The gelato did not disappoint and the dessert dish I did with nougat was amazing. So glad we found this place and the food alone would bring us back...the service just put it over the top!

this is probably one of my favorite meals in Italy! Food was absolutely amazing, staff was excellent and amazing vibes. We were 8 people and the service was above average! We ordered the tuna hamburger which was fresh, had excellent flavoring and was the perfect temperate. My friends also ordered the pasta with shrimp(spaghetti), fried cod and the deserts! Order the lava cake, but be aware that it needs 10-12 minutes in the oven. 11/10 recommend this place! Ask for Fabio as your waiter.

Amazing location and food. The service was also very good. The restaurant is adorable inside but we chose to sit outside for the fresh air.

We wanted seafood because when in Sorrento...why not opt for super fresh seafood right by the coast?! Our server recommended a really delicious local red that was super reasonably priced and we enjoyed with said red: For Primi -- *Gnocchi alla sorrentina (Sorrento-style Gnocchi): I mean...we kinda had to get a regional specialty right? Gnocchi here is potato based instead. It was SO delicious - still perfect texture. They also served this HOT HOT HOT with melty cheese. So delicious and a really generous portion!! *Spaghettoni alle vongole (Pasta with Clams): Another favorite for us in general so figured a really fresh version could be stellar and it didn't disappoint! This slightly edged out the gnocchi for me flavor-wise, but the gnocchi was dang good so it just goes to show how DELISH this was!!! For Secondi -- *Grigliata mista di pesce (mixed grilled fish - this was an incredible plate of such fresh seafood. There was various fish, a giant prawn, octopus alll grilled & seasoned to perfection! *Swordfish special! -- apparently it was swordfish season and it was a 'fresh catch' and I feel like you could tell! Really lovely and nicely seasoned. Portions were very generous & we were way too full for dessert at this point! So you could probably eat more "American" style here (Just 1 entree instead of our approach), but the menu here is pretty stellar!!!

I had been bit by a crab a number of times at Amalfi earlier in the day. I decided to return the favor and had the excellent crab with squid ink pasta. I will say that the crab was a lot of work, it was also a delicious crab. The squid ink pasta itself was perfectly al dente. Added a second course of a local fish with cherry tomatoes, also delicious. Family enjoyed their dinner as well.

Or to enjoy a glass of wine while watching all the people coming and going. I passed by so many times as this was on the path between my hotel and the shopping area, east of the Piazza Tasso, I finally decided to stop and give my feet a rest. Surprisingly affordable for a bar in the heart of Sorrento, I had a glass of red wine and opted for veal scaloppini for a late afternoon meal. The veal was very thin and quickly pan fried with a lovely lemony sauce balanced by briney capers. It was delicious and a welcomed reprieve from all the pasta I had been eating since I arrived. Others around me were enjoying pizza, pasta and gelato on a bright, sunny, 80 degree day in October. Sitting here surrounded by the incredible architecture of the buildings in this square was a quintessential Sorrento experience.

Specializes in pizza but also makes other entrees as well. A Ristorante which is a little more up scale with the waiters in tuxedos, table clothes, and fancy silverware. But my favorite of the places to eat are the Bars. Bars in Italy aren't like what you typically think of a bar in the States. They are restaurants but usually half the price of the "Ristorantes". Chances are the food will be just as good but served in a more casual environment. Which brings me to one of my favorite places to eat in Sorrento, Bar del Carmine. Since being in here we have eaten here a couple times, here's a few things we've order: Tuna salad and chicken salads: both are great. I'd order it everytime I come to Carmine's. Very fresh, a nice combination of flavors, meat, bell peppers, fresh mozzarella, corn, onions, olives, articoke hearts, and carrots. They don't serve any Thousand Island, Ranch, or Italian dressing out here. There's only one choice which is delicious, olive oil and Vino Blanco. Cheeseburger: not anything like the American Standard for a burger but still good. Small patty, the main focus is mozzarella and the tomatoes. So if you are expecting an In & Out burger, ForgetAboutIt... Pizza: only thing bad at Bar del Carmine is the pizza. Probably the worst pizza I have eaten in Italy. But pizza should be from the pizzeria anyway. Service is always good. Prices much more reasonable. Comfortable and casual with great people watching being that it is located in the center of Piazzo Tasso.
