3.5 and rounded up. The ambiance was nice. Staff and food was ok. On a pleasant evening in April I arrived around 7:30pm without reservations and was seated right away for dinner. With about 50-60 seats, the restaurant was only about a third full with most customers seated towards the front entrance. The vibe is bold Mediterranean seaside, with vibrant nautical blue and solid Kelly green accents paired back to white walls, painted floor tiles, and dark wood exposed ceiling beams. Glass vases and other hanging wall decor tie into the same scheme. The inside was bright and clean. I was curious to try their cacio e pepe since I heard this dish originated from around these parts. Their version Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe al Profumo di Limone (spaghetti with cheese, pepper and lemon) €16 was decent, though unfortunately not the traditional recipe I expected to be made without cream/butter. It was a little creamy, not too saucy (as it should be), with fresh pepper and lemon which added a needed brightness. Not bad though a little rich to consume by itself for a meal. The bread that came with meal was a cold, though fresh. Staff was professional and cordial enough though a felt a bit all-business-no-pleasure. Overall dinner prices seemed pretty reasonable compared to other places, with a €3 coperto charge, though interestingly this was the only restaurant where the staff asked if I wanted to tip on top of the bill (I did). Bathrooms in decent shape. Other dishes looked pretty decent, so this would be a maybe return in my book. read more

A standout in the tourist centre of Sorrento! The pasta with mussels was quite nicely done, arriving hot from the kitchen, and with a very good ratio of ingredients. We wandered into Mo'Mo' on our walk back from the beach club and boy are we glad we did! I got the Caprese panini and a side of fries to share. I love how fries are served with mayo everywhere in Europe. Normalize mayo on fries! It is so good. The only reason I docked a star was the fact that my sandwich was dry. The cheese had hardened and was not gooey at all. I ended up dousing the sandwich in olive oil to help soften the hard edges. Excellent flavor! Good location for people watching, but food and service for breakfast/ brunch were just OK. We stopped at Mo'Mo' Kitchen & Bar on a Friday morning after arriving in Sorrento, looking to order some breakfast/brunch as we waited for our hotel room to become available. We sat at a table for two outside along with a few other couples and families. The location was convenient (near our hotel La Favorita) and the seats were great for people watching, as we saw numerous walking tours pass by during our meal. Breakfast/brunch food selection was somewhat limited, and we went with a couple of basic pastries and a cappuccino. The brioche was decent, but the croissant had a strange taste. The service was not great, as we had to flag down our server multiple times for multiple things (placing our order, getting our check, etc). Overall, Mo'Mo' was ok - not bad, not great - but in a city like Sorrento with so many options, you can find something better. read more

We heard this place had good food so we tried it last night. Took a chance without reservations and my family of four was seated quickly. I'm a big fan of trying the specials, so we had the zucchini blossoms - delicious. The house white wine was suitably dry and very good. (Note, I've started only ordering house wines in Italy, red or white, and the quality has been very high) For dinner, I had another special, sea bass with lemon, and it may be the best sea bass I've ever had. It was perfectly cooked and the lemon flavor was as fresh as you'd expect in Sorrento. My wife and one son had the seafood risotto and both loved it. Other son had spaghetti with sea urchin, which he really liked. I should also point out that the bread was good. Service was excellent, and the staff went out of their way to handle food allergies. Came here on a day trip to Sorrento. It stood out bc of its location and easy breezy decor. We had the Octopus with potatoes, fried fish platter, grilled sea bass. The octopus was my favorite and I highly recommend getting it. The fried fish platter was okay, and would have been perfect if they added a little salt to the dish. After going through Milan, Venice, Rome, Naples, and finally getting to Sorrento, we went to many eateries. This was our favorite because of the service (attentive but chill). Great wine (generous pour unlike most of the restaurants we been to) and the best table wine so far in Italy. Had a great vegetable starter, then grilled calamari and spaghetti frutti di mare. this is probably one of my favorite meals in Italy! Food was absolutely amazing, staff was excellent and amazing vibes. We were 8 people and the service was above average! We ordered the tuna hamburger which was fresh, had excellent flavoring and was the perfect temperate. My friends also ordered the pasta with shrimp(spaghetti), fried cod and the deserts!
