However I quickly noticed lots of Clinique, Jo Malone and Origins. Three brands where I had good luck in the past. Fantastic there is stuff here that I can buy. The was enough Tom Ford (bad) that I scurried to the other side of the store. I spotted a lot of MAC. I never tried it but I've heard high praise. The sales were very encouraging. 30% off skin care, 40% off many items and 50% off gift sets. The gift sets were smallish items and looked like the sets they give you when you spend big at the dept. stores. These are just the right size for me to check out a new line. Customer service was attentive but not obtrusive. I ran across this tidbit. The cosmetics company store is owned by Estée Lauder. So all the cosmetics lines that you see in the store come from Estée Lauder or one of the companies that they own. Hope that helps you find the product you're looking for.

Last time I went to a brick and mortar Ulta, I guess it must've been Covid. Without all the…read moretesters, visiting the store was much more tedious than just buying stuff online. What a relief today was. I could actually sample products before purchase. I gotta admit online I was limited to products that I had purchased before. Although Ulta has a generous return policy, which I find reassuring just in case I'm allergic to something, I'm not really comfortable buying completely new products online. Giving the testers a try gives me a chance to figure out if I'm going to have a bad reaction. For me, this makes the physical store significantly more attractive. Customer Service was very cheerful. I was greeted at the door and one of the staff members although busy stopped to ask if I needed help. I just went into browse and had a great time looking for new products. I didn't really buy anything partially because I was in a bit of a hurry to get to my next errand and didn't really have time to try too many testers. Although they had a pretty good looking sale, I managed to get lucky with my favorites at the last sale and I'm still completely stocked up. I was looking for one or two new products but I gotta admit the store is big enough and there are enough different brands that I got a little bit lost. Obviously, I need to come back.

I was lost as I walked through the store to located the concealer because I never been to this location. There was even a group of girls who were in standing for long periods of time chatting in certain areas. They could have honestly been stealing because literally the women who worked in the store were too immersed in their conversation to walk around to check. There was a cashier who stepped away from talking when I finally came back to the front because I was lost with locating what I needed. There was a beauty expert on the floor and although she was helpful with her suggestions, she missed the mark with nanny if the items that she passed me to purchase. She gave me duplicates of the blush (Although she showed me 2 different ones that she said was perfect for me), she said that a soft black eyebrow pencil was good for me although I'm a brownsjin female with dark brown hair (Which I mentioned to get ally my hair color) and then she suggested 2 different highlights, but gave me 1 that was totally different than what she chose for me. I think she needed to pay more attention to what she was passing me and recommending instead of trying to make a sale. I am still new to makeup buying and I bed those that help me to know what they are doing. Overall, I was able to get quite a haul because of her. However, I need to go and do exchanges on many of the suggested items smh.

I stopped into C'est La Paire looking for comfortable walking shoes and Deb was so sweet and helpful. I also loved Tay & Grace and Kalifornia Jean Bar--both had a ton of things I wanted to take home. We grabbed coffee at Deuces, which is super cute and local-feeling, and I picked up a gift for my nephews and my dog at Hopscotch & Bark (honestly one of the cutest shops)! We wandered into Eiko's for happy hour, which was gold - great prices and really solid sushi.
