I must say, I've been a patient of Vineyard Dental for several years now and they definitely provide top notch service (all staff are soooo nice). From having the most up to date equipment to spa add ons like acupuncture before a treatment, to offering music to listen to through headphones and blankets if you are cold. BUT, you pay a lot for this experience. If you just need basic cleaning, not sure this is the place for you unless you don't mind paying a lot for the pampering too. I've had other procedures done, most recently osseous surgery, and I do feel at ease from the level of service I'm getting. We have been coming to Vineyard Dental for about 5 years now. It's not like any dentist I have ever been to. It's also a Spa and offers these services along with your dental procedures. I love dentists. That feeling of clean, healthy teeth is unmatched! And in my 40+ years I have never, ever had a problem with a dentist until Vineyard Dental. But these dentists are dangerous scam artists. They diagnosed me with $9,000 in dental work. Then they massacred a molar and- in the middle of their procedure and without warning or explanation, they pushed me out the door and said they couldn't treat me. They recommended first I look into general anesthesia at a hospital to finish the work, then to sub-par dentistry at UOP. Who's running this ship there?! I went to another dentist who very easily fixed the work Vineyard Dental had botched- all with ease and even pleasure. Ironically I had originally left a 5 star review of Vineyard Dental and recommended multiple friends and coworkers to them before my one bad experience. Initially, Dr. Azizi was fantastic. I even recommended her to family and friends, bringing her four new patients. However, my positive impression quickly changed. During one visit to discuss a filling, Dr. Azizi made me feel extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed with her comments. She expressed frustration over the lack of progress with my teeth and pointed at my mouth, saying, "What is going on with this?" in front of two other people. Her tone and demeanor made me feel judged and belittled. Reading other reviews, it's disheartening to see a pattern of behavior where she refuses to take accountability or offer an apology for her attitude. I truly empathize with anyone who has felt belittled by her. After that visit, I went home in tears and avoided going to the dentist for months because of how awful she made me feel. That said, her staff was wonderful. Dr. Azizi, I hope you read this and reflect on the impact of your words and actions. Defensive responses won't help; genuine accountability and a more compassionate approach toward your patients could make a big difference. I've been a patient here for 4 years. I have put up with the hygienists speaking to me like I'm a child the entire time because I thought , for an hour every 6 months I can blow it off. One visit Dr. Jung had the nerve to ask me if I liked how my teeth looked because I had spaces between a few of my teeth in a way that made me feel like they looked terrible. Put that aside as well. This week, a crown I had them do for me 3 years ago broke. I went in and they said insurance likely wouldn't cover any of it since it was under 5 years then presented me a pro-forma for almost $1800. I told the hygienist no thanks, I'll find somewhere else to go. She asked to me to hold on the said she would like to have Dr. Azizi call me to see if there was anything they could do. Dr. Azizi called me and compared the crown to a Mercedes and said "if you were in an accident 3 years after you bought the car, the dealership wouldn't do anything." Seriously? So insulting. I didn't ask I f there was anything they could do on the price, her team brought it up!!! I just said I would go elsewhere for a new crown and to have her make me feel like I was the one asking for something was like pouring salt on the wound. read more

Let it be stated Vineyard Dental was not my choice for my child's dentist but that was out of my control. I made an appointment over a month ago after speaking to the receptionist about my daughter already being there for her school I take and that she had an issue in her mouth and needed to be seen. The day comes I get a text messages two hours before her appointment stating that they are going to cancel her appointment and refer her to someone else because they don't take children under ten. My daughter is seven. I called back with frustration because why wasn't I informed that a month ago, if it was a decision made a year ago when I spoke to the receptionist for information. The appointment shouldn't have been made. So after I've already arrange my schedule and my daughter schedule to go to the dentist at that time we needed to be seen. This was an issue that the company made or an individual made that was not my fault. All I know is that my daughter is in pain. We end up going to the appointment the receptionist was great, the lady that took her x-rays was great, the cleaning lady was great, the doctor however comes in hot. My daughter is already nervous she has anxiety being there and the doctor comes in with a terrible tone, a terrible attitude and keeps talking to me about how my child has tooth decay and all of these other issues. So now my daughter is freaking out in the chair trying to hold back her tears running down her face while the doctor is standing over her talking to me in a not so nice tone freaking her out. My personal opinion is that the doctor was mad that the appointment was even made and she was taking it out on me. Making it seem that I'm the problem. Stating again that they don't see children and blah blah blah blah blah. OK well again that's not my fault your company is the one that scheduled the appointment in the first place. Long story short more exchanges were made back-and-forth all while my daughter is laying in the chair scared. To just put it plain and simple the doctor was extremely unprofessional. First time ever writing a review. I felt that Dr. A was the most unprofessional and rude dentist/doctor I had ever encountered. I am a very easy going and easy to talk to person and she couldn't care less about treating me with any level of care. She told me that she refuses to treat me because her employees would be "shaking in fear". I also sent a plethora of X-rays from dental work in just weeks prior but they insisted on taking more and when I asked what the reason was I was given a flippant response about the purpose of X-rays as if I wasn't clear. I was sent out the door with a "you're no longer my patient I'm referring you to a dentist who can handle your mouth, sign here saying you'll pay for your X-rays" Absolutely avoid this place if you're looking for a little more friendliness of care. The hygienist was more interesting in talking about personal stories than doing X-rays....which had to be retaken multiple times due to maybe...incompetence. She called us twice to move our appointment to an earlier time. My advice for her is to respect her patients ' schedule. We can't come in whenever just for your to fill up your empty time. I've had a lot of dental work done as a kid with braces and I hate going to the dentist. As an adult, I don't have any cavities, but I'm a bit of a nervous wreck. I put off going to the dentist, but Vineyard Dental (Dr. Azizi and staff) are like no other practice I've been to. The office is like walking into a day spay, it's a very relaxing environment. You can schedule ahead of time a foot soak, mini facial, and something else (can't remember). They were very detailed in weeding out the nervous patients, like me. They go out of their way to make you relax and even enjoy being there. They have music and TV for entertainment..what ever it takes. Vineyard Dental has state of the art equipment and the staff was very gentle. I'm bring my 12 and 14 year old for the first time in a couple of weeks. Can't wait! read more

Don't give this practice your time. There is a total disconnect between the front and back office resulting in multiple errors, mis-steps and drama. They mis- scheduled me resulting in multiple trips, humiliated me in the waiting room in ear shot of other customers and staff members and then fired me for complaining causing further inconvenience in having to find another dentist. At first I was quite charmed by the atmosphere and the lead dentist, Nancy totally pressed me for a good review as soon as I complimented her on the office, are you a Google reviewer or a yelp reviewer? She asked more about my online reviewing habits than my actual chart/medical history. I scheduled my child and I for cleanings etc and when we were done I was informed that they had done an exam but not cleaned my daughters teeth, they were too busy. Her subsequent appointment was rebooked twice. I came back on another visit and got the distinct impression that the dentist: Dr. Jung didn't want to be there. I have to wear earphones to disassociate from the drilling and the fact that I sometimes couldn't hear her direction seemed to really annoy her, she frequently sighed and sent her eyes towards the heavens. I went to pay out in the front office I was told I needed to schedule another cleaning in two months. Everyone knows it's a 6 month gap between cleanings so I asked why in 2 months and was told that "until your home hygiene improves we have to do more cleanings." And then several people waiting there in the front to pay or make appointments all looked at me like I never brush my teeth and I was really hoping to suddenly become invisible. You know those record screeches that come on when a character in a TV shows says something super awkward and everything just - like -stops and everyone in the room near and far looks at them? Yep, just like that. Now just to give you context, dear reader, I am a colon cancer patient who has been answering a nurse's questions about my bowel movements in front of other chemo patients also getting infusions within earshot for about 5 years now. I don't embarrass easily. I phoned them the next day, discreetly complaining by telephone later so as not to embarrass them like they'd embarrassed me. It's on my chart and an aspect of all my care that I'm in aggressive chemo, I haven't had a cleaning in over 2 years because I was specifically advised not to and actually needed a doctor's note to book a cleaning. Like- it's super duper clear. How do you have such a carefully designed atmosphere and then treat people so carelessly? So, after I complained, they wrote me a letter and fired me which really floored me. Then I got another letter: they forgot to charge me for the $140 cleaning for my daughter they rescheduled twice. I followed up with them first by letter then by telephone explaining that if you forget to schedule enough time then forget to charge then embarrass someone in front of a group of strangers and then fire them, and then repeatedly hound them for the $140 they forgot to charge, the client might not want to pay it because they've been repeatedly inconvenienced and then treated poorly, can you see; I asked Rosa the billing manager after waiting on hold for 20 minutes, why a customer might not want to pay after all that? It's not a large sum of money, about 2% of my total bill, who makes those decisions? Rosa said she does. OK, well, can you understand why I wouldn't want to pay that? I was told the bill would go to collections. I told them if they were going to hold my credit score hostage then I'd like to speak to the dentist or I would just pay the money and write a bad review which I'd thought of doing but did not want to waste even more time. I was then called by the lead dentist Nancy who said she thought I was "classy" and why would I "intimidate and extort them" in order to not pay a bill. So between the front office and the back office something got totally blown out of proportion again: Intimidate and extort? It's a customer service issue I wrote a letter and then called twice to resolve. Nancy phoned up and my character was questioned: like it's not personal, it's a bill and I'm unsatisfied, why question my character? I wanted to explain that I was not paying because I was inconvenienced multiple times. In any business---large or small---when you inconvenience the customer it's fairly standard to have to take a small hit to your delivery fee or restaurant check or commission or service fee, because you did not deliver the service as promised---plain and simple. I wasn't sure why I then had to be pathological in some respect not to pay it. A lot of drama in this office. Stay away. read more

This place is luxurious.. I don't know about you, but if there's one place in my life I NEED luxuries, it's at the dentist. MY dental hygienist (Nicole) is very gentle & so thorough, I go every 4 months, BECAUSE it's NEVER painful & very relaxing. BRENDA always gets me a cozy warm blanket, heavy,heated pad for my lap, (ladies, you KNOW this is wonderful) spa music, headphones & dark glasses... Not to mention a facial with refreshing/cleansing mask while my teeth are being cleaned. After my cleaning & check up with the Doctor, an aromatherapy head, neck & shoulder massage is THE BEST PART. I called the office stating I was running 5 minutes late the person who answer my call told me that my appointment was canceled because my previous insurance was terminated. My final review, at least for a long time from now. Today, this Valentine's Day, Vineyard Dental has completed the full restoration of my smile. Dr. Jung did a fantastic job in completing the task of replacing the old amalgam (My teeth is finally mercury free!) and ensuring my bite clasp together correctly. Thank you Dr. Jung for making my teeth look even more natural. Maybe I'll live longer and look younger now that I'm mercury free. Don't tell anyone my secret. My Hygienist, Whitney, did a thorough detail in cleaning my teeth with care and pain free. Compared to many dental clinics I've visited before, she is by far the best at what she does. I am looking forward to future appointments with this lovely person. She probably has one of the most contagious smiles you'll ever come across. The spa experience never seems to disappoint.
