Raw and burnt chicken!!!!

***DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!**** I was given a RAW CHICKEN SANDWICH!!!! We stopped on the way to the zoo & had to wait AN HOUR for our food!!!! Why was I given raw chicken after waiting so long?!?? They do not know what they're doing!!!!! Absolutely AWFUL experience!!! I pray to God I don't get food poisoning/salmonella!!!!! Please do not eat here!!! I wish I could give zero stars!!!!

Salmon Rice Bowl

This is my second time getting the Salmon bowl. I personally like spicy food so it was enjoyable but for the average person it may be too hot. Seafood and rice were seasoned well.

Chicken Wings and French Fries

Came here sporadically while being in the area for an appointment. Decor was trendy and the restaurant overall was very clean (including the bathroom). The service was extremely quick, however the restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived and honestly stayed that way minus some pickup orders. Ordered wings, chicken parm, sliders, chicken tenders w/ fries, pistachio cheesecake, chocolate gelato, and chocolate cake. Surprisingly the only two items we didn't enjoy were the fries and chocolate cake. Which sounds crazy, but unfortunately both were a miss. I would definitely come here again, especially for the fact of all the items being halal, but also, the service was so kind and welcoming.

Cute corner eatery that caters to the people who can afford to live in the Mosaic, i. e. Not us. $8/crepe is almost worth one Kid's enjoyment of her Nutella one with strawberries and my appreciation for the chicken and mushroom one. We tried ordering pizza but none of their equipment was ready for that, despite there being 3 guys inside well before opening. Service was ok. Location is convenient for anyone wanting to visit Hermann Park Golf Course, which is probably why Cosmo Cafe has to charge enough to remain In such a hot spot.

one of the best spots near Med Center area. food is fresh and fire. shootout to Yara and the team for such a friendly experience.

I've been coming to Cosmo for over a year, easily one of the best spots near Med Center/Hermann Park. The food never misses, and Chef Wale keeps it all fresh and fire. Shoutout to Yara and the team for always making it a smooth and friendly experience. If you haven't been, fix that.

My boyfriend and I stopped by for a late lunch. He ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich which came with a side of fries and I ordered a Margherita Pizza. The food was delicious! The gentleman that took our order / served our food was very polite. We came around 4:00 on a Thursday, and there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant. There is plenty of seating, and they also offer games to pass the time (a foosball table, giant connect four, and giant Jenga blocks). Overall, we had a pleasant experience and we will be returning!

This place has so much potential. Huge menu for good ole American/Italian food. Pros: gorgeous aesthetic, loads of indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff, anything with grilled chicken on it is very very tasty, good quality meat, zabiha-halal, a lot of menu items, a full on gelato/ice cream selection available. Cons: inconsistency (skip the Pina colada it's like $7-9 and made out of a mixer syrup, do get the mint lemonade it's frozen and probably also uses a mixer but loads of fresh mint and friend said it was on point), water bottles for purchase, no drinking water, pasta was tasty but could've been a little saucier but still delicious, wanted espresso (granted it was 8:30 at night) but the espresso machine was not working. I wish I had gotten a photo of the outdoor seating, but on a beautiful day out, a juice or a latte (if the machine is working) would be awesome!

My daughter and I stumbled upon Cosmo Eatery by chance. We were initially heading to Davis Street Restaurant next door, but since it was closed, we decided to give Cosmo a try. We were looking for a nice dine-in experience to pass the time before our next meeting, and Cosmo certainly delivered. We were impressed by the quaint location--it felt like we had discovered a hidden gem. The service was excellent, the place was clean, and the ambiance was relaxed yet modern, with great interior decor. The menu had so many tempting options that it was hard to choose! My daughter ordered the rice bowl, and I opted for the salmon tacos. Both dishes were delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. To top it off, we tried a couple of their specialty drinks. My daughter had a milk tea, which she said was very good, and I had a fresh smoothie that was equally satisfying. They even surprised her with a Nutella crêpe, which was a delightful and tasty treat! Five stars to Cosmo Eatery for offering great food with fresh and healthy options in what feels like a bit of a food desert in that part of town. We were originally searching for a nice sit-down spot before our last meeting and didn't find many appealing options apart from Davis Street Lounge. While Cosmo isn't as upscale as Davis Street, it's a fantastic in-between option for fine dining and casual dining. Highly recommend!

Pros: Friendly staff Clean environment Inside/ outside seating (plenty of it) Average priced items Wide range of foods/ desserts Cons: I don't think the food is fresh, if anything reheated. No water?? We had to buy bottles ozarka water for over $1. Food is not as advertised. The photos on Instagram look amazing. But if you look at my photos below you will see why my rating is low. SO GREASY Review: Cosmo is a semi self serve situation, you order at the order station and then your items are brought to you. I had ordered $40 worth of food. Shrimp scampi, fettuccini Alfredo, fried calamari and two bottles waters. The Alfredo seemed average, but the shrimp scampi was extremely off putting by the amount of oil! Calamari was $8 and was a handful of "calamari" on top of some greens. Maybe you can catch them in a good day as some of the reviews are pretty good here.

The baristas are always super nice. The establishment is clean and has a indoor/outdoor seating, outlets, and restrooms available. Parking can sometimes be limited. Before work, I'd often get an iced dirty chai. Their espresso is so delicious and pairs well with the chai flavor. Now, whenever I'm back in Houston, I like to get either a cubano or an iced cajeta latte. During this visit, I got an iced cajeta latte less sweet. Such a perfect dessert coffee that actually wakes you up too. My affinity for Black Hole Coffee isn't just nostalgic (since I previously came here to study and for prework pick-me-ups), but the coffee is always great. I'll always make time to stop by when I'm in Houston!

Service was efficient, but the guy behind the counter wasn't too friendly. Parking can also be a bit of a challenge with the on-site lot being pretty tight, so street parking may be your best bet. There's a mix of couches, chairs, and tables inside, plus a small patio if the weather's nice. I stopped by with a friend on a cold Sunday morning in December, and the indoor seating was pretty full with a mix of people working and casual conversations. There's only one barista, but things still moved along pretty quickly The interior has an eclectic, artsy vibe with some interesting vintage decor.. it almost feels like hanging out in a hipster record store. I liked that they offer dairy-free milk options and I tried their golden latte. It had a strong turmeric flavor, but it wasn't bad. Overall, a solid coffee stop if you're in the area, especially good for small groups or one-on-ones.

We all ordered different milks -- whole, skim, coconut, and oat -- and they were able to accommodate all of us! I really liked my iced latte, which was rich without being overly floral or sweet. The pastries were also a hit, including the lemon poppy muffin, cherry turnover, chocolate croissant, and the spinach, mushroom, and cheese danish. The outside of this coffee shop and apothecary doesn't exactly have curb appeal, but the inside is bright, clean, and stylish, combining sleek lines with softer botanical elements to create a welcoming space. The barista was... indifferent at best, borderline unfriendly at worst. We did ask a couple questions that seemed to irritate her, but we were the only people in there, so we weren't holding up a line or anything. It was a bummer to feel unwelcome, but we were getting the coffee and pastries to go regardless, so it didn't ruin our breakfast.
