My computer crashed the other night right around 5:30 pm so I got on the old interweb and found…read morethat TechCare was open until 6pm. I called them at 5:50pm and spoke with Ray "I think he is the owner" anyway I told him what was going on and he said to come on down and that he would wait for me. When I arrived I noticed that they have a big Yelp banner on the window, I walked in and spoke with Ray about the problem and showed him a picture of what the error was, he was up front with me and explained that if the hard drive was bad that he would not be able to save my data. I told him to do his best to save my data. The next day he texted me with a quote and said that he would be able to fix it and save my data. I told him to fix it. About 3 hours later he texted me again and said to come on by and pick it up. Now when I arrived he didn't just give me my computer and send me on my way, he sat me down and explained that I have 3 different options to save my data just in case the hard drive or computer crashes in the future. He also said that if I'm not sure how to back up the hard drive or need help with anything to call him and he would walk me through it. When all was said and done, he charged me $299 out the door and my machine is working flawlessly!! Thank you Ray! You got a customer for life.

To explain this in my simple, not tech-y way: they coordinate set up and troubleshooting with our vendors to ensure our patient database, claims clearinghouse, and x-ray software are all working together and working properly (we would not be able to see patients if this wasn't working!). They make sure all our data is backed up each night and can be restored if something bad happens. They make sure we can print to our printers and log in on our computers and access our network - when something is not working, they will fix it so I don't have to spend hours trying to figure it out. They can investigate suspicious looking emails to verify it's legit so I don't click on it and expose all our computers to malware. They set us up with secure email so we can send confidential patient information without violating HIPAA. This is just what I see on a day to day basis. In all seriousness, I know they're also doing SO MUCH MORE behind the scenes to ensure the safety and security of our data and our equipment. They are constantly monitoring our data and equipment to make sure everything is working properly (we receive weekly and monthly reports, and get a check in call with Arash each year to review everything and get recommendations). Arash and his team are very knowledgeable. They are also all very nice, very patient, very persistent when trying to figure out how to solve a problem that isn't so straightforward.
