These guys are great. I called on a Friday afternoon hoping to have somebody come out and fix my business phone the same day (yeah right). Amazingly, they said that one of the techs would stop by on his way home. The guy showed up at 5:30 on a Friday evening. He was super knowledgable and fixed our problem quickly without any issues. These guys must be super busy because I've emailed them 3 times trying to set an appointment with no success. Then I called 3 times, spoke to a friendly receptionist but she passed me onto a voicemail that I then left 3 messages on. I am an amateur self taught IT person who can set up simple office networks and solve most of my computer related problems so our practice does not have a regular IT Pro that we can call. The installation was scheduled for 5 AM Monday morning. Fortunately, even on such short notice, Roland Lewis agreed to come and help me at 8 PM even though he had prior family commitments. When Roland arrived he very quickly understood the setup. He grasped my dire situation and began methodologically troubleshooting, isolating problem areas and solving all the problems which were interfering with the 4 computers and server communication with each other. We had this company come out and look at our old phone system. The thing was over 10 years old and had been giving us some issues for a couple of years. We finally decided to do something about it, and I'm glad we did. The guys at Ibota came in, looked over what we had, and presented their recommended system the next day. The sales person, Roland, was very professional and knowledgable about phone systems and the types of telephone services out there. The new system was going to add a lot of the latest features like voicemail to email, call recording, and external phones. Since we have several outside sales people, we really liked the idea of being able to attach mobile phones to the system like they are regular extensions. We decided to go with them, and they got us installed less than a week later. Joe and his techs did a great job installing the system. They were very thorough and even made sure our fax and credit card machines worked before they left. They weren't even a part of the phone system. All in all it was a very good experience and far better than what we had the last time we got a new phone system! Next, we're going to have them back in here to look at our phone and internet bills to see where we can save some money. Purchased a Swann Video Surveillance system from Fry's Electronics. Very antiquated and difficult to activate on line and mate with tablets and other devices. Swann offers no support only an incomplete operators manual that is very difficult to decipher. I called numerous I.T. firms and tried to get referrals from Swann Direct but the only one that helped was Roland. Putting aside that he has much larger clients that tax his time than me, he managed to break away from his regular clients to help me out. Once I mentioned that my camera caught criminals robbing and ransacking my neighbors house. He immediately changed his scheduled to help download a file for the S.J. Police dept. I was amazed that he managed to systematically debug my system and get it working perfectly. He jumped to several websites away from the Swann to get the support and technical code to get my system working properly. I am computer literate, however Roland is a computer scientist.
