I got nowhere until I called this place. Allen answered my call immediately and to my surprise tried to help me on the phone to resolve the problem without any expectation. I was very impressed with this gesture and although I was not able to fix my computer (it was rather a complicated issue and I am novice in computer knowledge) I had no doubt that I have found the right place for my computer issues. When I eventually took my computer there, I was not disappointed as I received an excellent service with a very reasonable charge. Few days ago I could not use my computer due to some virus infections. With no hesitation I took my laptop there. Allen told me exactly what the problem is and what the charge would be for fixing it. This is the best computer repair place that I have found. Allen is very knowledgeable and also nice to work with. He fixed my iPad Air's broken screen (so much cheaper than Apple), and removed a horrible virus from my PC. He even followed up with me to be sure that I was satisfied with their service! I wish I had known about Computer Direct Wholesale sooner. I have been to so many (will not mention names) places that have charged me a lot and did not know what they were doing. I highly recommend them! I was shocked to see that the average Yelp rating was a 3 star. But when I read the reviews that Yelp had moved to "other reviews that are not currently recommended" section at the bottom of the page, it made sense. Yelp has moved many of the 5 star reviews there, and then left the only bad one, and another 3 star one from this person called Arman there that does not make any sense. I have heard from friends that Yelp has been known to do this to businesses that do not become their members and pay, and I am starting to believe it. Few days ago, my laptop computer was infected with a very bad malware, keylogger, and damaged windows policy that destroyed everything I had saved and stored in the last several years! I was devastated and paralyzed; I couldn't do a thing with it. I called several places to check my options. Charges for fixing my computer was something but for recovering the lost data was outrageous. I was so angry about anyone who caused me harm but I was helpless until I called Allen who was referred to me by a friend. I found him to be very honest, fair, and knowledgeable in his field. I had a great experience with Computer Direct Wholesale. I took my laptop there to be checked out because of water damage. Allen called me within hours to inform me of the seriousness of my PC. I was happy to know what could and could not be done to resolve the pc problem. The cost was affordable and Allen's personality was awesome and with consistency. Allen warned me of the out of State scammers the call I made before finding his company through google. Scammers who say they can fix your pc problem by logging into your PC online to view your data at the expense of your internet service for as long as possible. I just had a dead-screen on my $800 Sony laptop which was repaired by this shop within one day for an unbelievable price (less than $170). The laptop is only 14 months old, and screed just went dead on it. I tried Sony, Best Buy and Staples and the lowest estimate I got was around $600 and they needed several weeks to a month to repair it. This shop did miracle. Allen, the owner is an extremely competent and extremely nice gentleman and he diagnosed the problem instantly, identified the cause was broken backlight, gave me a free estimate and repaired the whole thing in one day. I have never had such a memorable positive experience for repairing computers or any electronics ever before. I highly recommend him. A hard drive crash of epic proportion had me at a loss of a few priceless family pictures before a backup had completed. My biggest concern after talking to friends was that it would cost me $$$$ to even get started through the recovery process. The thought of sending my hard drive off to a corporation where I could only get status through a website or via call center put me off so I searched locally. Sometimes he gives technical advice to people that aren't charge for his over the phone dianostics and I feel they take advantage of him at times. He has helped me thru my computer crisis more than once and I owe him big time for getting me back on line at a critical time. My computer finally failed. Allen put together another computer for me until I could afford a better one but for now I am able to function on line once again. As senior I have little income so I was able to recover from this computer nightmare without becoming homeless.
