Very good quality coffee!! Bright space with a decent amount of seating for not being very large. Will definitely come again to try more drinks and some food.

*****3.5 stars***** I was in need of an afternoon boost so stopped by Cortado. Ordered an iced tiramisu latte with almond milk, which was ready in no time. Although it provided the right amount of pickmeup that I needed, it didn't remind me of tiramisu at all - just a regular iced latte. Service was super friendly. Good of tables to eat, work, or catch up with a friend. Plenty of parking available in the large lot.

I ordered a hot chai and only had to wait a minute or two for it to come out! The drink was delicious and I love the cup design. There is plenty of seating and the place has a clean vibe to it. The workers are very nice and greeted me immediately after walking through the door and were patient when I was paying with cash. There is also plenty of parking which is great. I would definitely come back to this cafe again the next time I'm in Springfield!

Comfortable seating and elegant tea service.

Perfect lunch spot for nice casual. Crepes are the specialty, but the paninis look very good as well. Plenty of comfortable seating. We had the Báhn Mi Chicken and Norwegian crepes. Both delicious, with fresh ingredients. The teas were elegantly served and deliciously refreshing. A rare find in the land of strip mall sameness. We'll be back.

Had an Americano and breakfast platter. The place is small and the seats / tables are pretty narrow. The staff is nice. I think the prices are a little high but then again, what isn't these days? The Americano was quite good. I would return for coffee. The breakfast was just OK. I didn't actually like the meat. The eggs were tasty. Maybe I'd order crepe next time.

Amazing food, fast service, and cute atmosphere make this breakfast all day spot a hit! They also have extended Ramadan hours which is also appreciated by the many who fast. Try the pina colada crepe or beaked apple & brie if you are wanting something that is warm and cozy. Top it off with a chia latte and your tastebuds will be happy you did!

It's a small cafe that is a little bit on the pricier side, especially for food, but I do say it was worth it! The staff were very kind and brought our food and drink out to us. I ordered the Dulce de Leche latte which was delicious and looked gorgeous too! The sandwich was also very good, and I'm pretty sure it was turkey bacon on the sandwich which I had never had before, but it tasted great! My dad and I came here in the morning and it was a pretty quiet place as well, just a few people around us either chatting or doing school work, so it's a nice place to take someone to catch up with or do some work without a lot of noise. The bathrooms were also very clean as well!

I love trying new coffee shops so I had to give this one a try. The cool thing about this cafe is that they offer crepes, breakfast all day, sandwiches, and coffee. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte, yes, I'm one of them lol. Anyhoo, it was really delicious. I can tell it was crafted with quality ingredients and the presentation was so beautiful. The prices seem reasonable. I love that there is ample parking around. I was greeted upon entry. My Apple Maps had trouble finding the place but it is in the same plaza as Chick fil a. It's right next to Taco Bamba.

We need more small businesses like this that do it right. Came here for dessert on a date and wasn't disappointed. The inside is very clean, although somewhat tight seating. There is somewhat of a wait if you get certain items on the menu that require prep, but that just means everything is made fresh to order. The crepe we had was delicious. Overall, a great crepe option in this part of town.

This was a nice new coffee shop to try. On a federal holiday morning there were several guests having coffee. There is a seating area however the location is not large. They had an area with more comfy seating for chatting and tables along the right side. I decided to try the Dulce de leche iced latte and it was tasty! Service was great and I left happy with my coffee. There was music playing inside but not too loud.

I absolutely love Cortado Cafe! I recently came in with a friend during the first weeks of their opening and was greeted by their incredibly kind staff. The cafe is cozy and has lots of room for eating in or getting some work done - the perfect quiet spot to enjoy a nice cup of Joe! Having recently went to NYC (home of the viral tiramisu latte), I was so excited to see there was a Tiramisu Latte on their menu. It truly is so decadent and delicious - the perfect blend of cream and coffee that will leave you wanting more. One of the best coffees I have ever had in the DMV! If you ever find yourself in Springfield, Cortado Cafe is the place to be for quality coffee and delicious food!

*Apologies in advance for the long review* Currently sitting here and it's my 1st visit - had to write about it immediately! I knew there was a location in Alexandria (never been) but this is closer to home and recently opened. Based on the Alexandria location photos I was pleasantly surprised when i walked in here bc it almost matches in the way the wall is lined with comfy booth seating and tables with seats across. (2 person setting) Additionally, they have bar counter seating if you like to watch people make your drinks. There's plenty of outlets, which is vital for me when looking for a WFH cafe spot. Relaxing piano music and great environment even if you have meetings and 2 clean restrooms. Located right across from Brookfield Plaza, next to Taco Bamba in the same area as Chic-Fil-A. I've been sitting here for a couple hours during my lunch break and currently still working. There is plenty of parking but since this is a busy plaza it may take a couple min - I got lucky and found a spot right in front. I put down my things and was promptly greeted at the register. The staff is very friendly! I asked what flavor shots they have for the coffee and Mustafa gave me a whole list. I love going to cafes where youre given dine-in style cups and mugs - I came to sit and enjoy my time, not rush out of here so I do not want a to-go cup lol. I got a hazelnut latte and ordered the caprese panini with a house salad on the side. The latte was great, I didn't have to add any sugar and you could taste the flavor shot. The panini was delicious, great portion and the dressing on the salad was lovely. How sweet, the staff member just came up to me and gave me a yogurt parfait to try :D ! I got him to add honey for me and it's absolutely delicious. Crunchy from the granola/oats, with various berries and nuts for texture. I talked with Mustafa and Sam, (staff and owner), who are from Mauritania and Morocco, who told me the bacon is turkey bacon and the meats here are halal - which is great to know so that I can order the meat dishes in the future. Mustafa is orginially from New York so he has great recs, he's also visited many of the DMV coffee shops so talk to him if you need insight I would gatekeep this tbh LOL but they absolutely deserve the business, and I'm hoping to become a regular here inshallah :)!

This is an amazing cafe! The food is delicious, especially the cannoli crepes. The service is fast and friendly. The food is served on real plates with real silverware. 10/10, amazing. We also got an almond croissant and some spinach pastries to take home. They were equally as delicious as the crepes.

Top sandwich is the Turkey, egg, and cheese croissant and below is the Merguez Sandwich (Spicy Moroccan Lamb sausage). MERGUAZ SANDWICH.

To quote the great Tyra Banks: "I want to give you a zero, but that's not possible. So I give you a…read more1." Let's just say the food here was absolutely disappointing. All of the hip young girls in high school recommended this place to me and my friends and lets just say, they have never been more wrong. My girls and I went this weekend for a birthday brunch. I wanted a crepe, but when I saw it was 17 DOLLARS to slap some Nutella and strawberries on a piece of crepe is outrageous. I ordered a "Continental Breakfast," which, with tax and tip, cost me $30 DOLLARS. I wish you could have seen the look on my face when they gave me a plate of rabbit food. All 6 of us looked at the plate and laughed. Seriously, my 5 year old neice can eat 3 times as much of that in one sitting. So, in what world would that be enough food for a grown woman? My friend then went on to order the French toast for a grand total of $36 DOLLARS. Mind you, there was only one piece of toast, and the Inside was raw and soggy. Tasted like eating wet, soaked toilet paper. On top of the overpriced food and small portions, our "server" came to our table for a total of ONE SINGULAR TIME. My friend had also ordered a Chai Latte. Surprise, Surprise! It never came, and they still charged her for it. I think the nice man who brought us our food could see the look on our faces when we received our food, because he then brought us a free side of French fries. It is a huge problem when the french fries were the only sufficient thing I put in my mouth at this restaurant. I please, genuinely beg all of you to NOT waste your money. I promise there is anywhere else where you can get a crepe for double the size and half the cost. Once we left, we went down to Call Your Mother, the Jewish Deli, to get more food, as all of us left with our tummies still rumbling. Mind you, a full bagel sandwich and coffee cost HALF THE PRICE of one meal at Fontaine. Horrible. Mind you, it is 2 days later, and I am still thinking about this. I fully created a Yelp account just so I could leave a review. I think I would have a better experience eating an IHOP Continental breakfast than whatever I put in my mouth at this restaurant. Not worth the hype at all. Save your hard-earned cash and be a big baller elsewhere!

I would have added onion, but I thought a $1 upcharge for onion was far too much, so i didn't add it on principle alone. The crepe came out pretty quickly! It was very good, my only "gripe" is that the cheese and pepperoni didn't get a lil burn to it, like a pizza would have. I love burnt cheese and a lil char on my pepperoni! My sweet crepe, I got apples, sweetened condensed milk, walnuts and whipped cream. This was also very good! Not too sweet, just sweet enough! The apples retain their heat a bit, though, and i burnt me mouth, but that's my own fault. I will definitely be coming back, probably alone again, as it's a rather tiny establishment. This is definitely a hidden gem in fxb!

This crepe was generously packed with chicken/mushroom/peppers/cheese consisting of intense flavors. Nonetheless, it was still very flavorful and I highly recommend it. They have an extensive menu including sweet/savory crepes, all-day breakfast, waffles, various beverages. There is definitely something for everyone. The cafe has plenty of seating (inside & outside), but I would assume it may be a little crowded if/when they get busy.
