Only then did the General Manager immediately provide written confirmation that a refund would be issued. However, after waiting 10 business days with no credit processed, I requested a verifiable transaction reference number. Instead of a legitimate refund receipt, the manager sent a copy of my original $0 checkout folio, falsely presenting it as proof of a reversal. Furthermore, when I submitted a corporate survey regarding this billing issue, IHG corporate informed me they would not publish my feedback. Due to this severe lack of financial integrity and the brand's censorship of legitimate complaints, I am highly dissatisfied and cannot recommend this hotel.

The room we were given last night is our room with large windows that have the lights right outside of them that light up the building. This blazing light starts at sunset and end at sunrise. Even with the blackout blinds, it is bright in our room at night. We also can't look out the window after dark or before sunrise because of the glare of the light. When I asked them to please change our room, they said they did not have any other room in our "tier" which means in the price point we paid. The hotel is virtually empty this weekend. Nevertheless, they are choosing not to give us a different room as a service. I am so very hurt and disappointed. It's a great hotel and a great location. But this inflexibility, even for silver members like us, feels very sad and unnecessary.

It originally started out as the Corning Hilton, with its commercial modernist design, and was a success from the time it opened. Later Hilton sold it to the Radisson and in August of 2022 it was purchased by Choice Hotels. We have stayed here many times over the years and since Choice purchased the hotel we have seen improvements in the overall condition of the building; however, much improvement needs to take place. For example, our room air conditioner was noisy and uncomfortably cold/warm all evening. The main hotel AC was very warm considering we had mid-90s degrees temperature during the daytime. Secondly, we felt that the bar, although attended quite nicely, the drinks were half the size that we remember while prices considerably higher. Lastly, another negative would be the overall condition of their outside gardens and plantings. I brought it to their attention because they have beautiful gardens and planting spaces, but they're not well cared for: a lot is overgrown with weeds and dead plants. The staff was kind and accommodating and we would return mostly because of its location to Market Street. Ironically, we have stayed at the hotel across the river (now Hilton) and that has always been a good experience with the exception of having to walk over the bridge to get to Market Street.

To use it, we took towels from the b/r and covered the offending areas. No one should have to do this... just gross. Under the TV cabinet was a mini refrigerator with a freezer, no microwave, but they provided a small coffee pot system with reg and decaf. The b/r had a fantastic shower with good water pressure, nearly immediate hot water. A word of caution, the bottom of the tub was a bit slick. In the morning, there was a decent breakfast, carbs, protein, and juices, a good balance. The door knob in the bathroom wasnt bolted on all the way and the pillows on the bed looked like they had been washed and dried and all of the stuffing had gone to one end of the pillowcases so they were just hard lumps about half the size of a normal pillowcase. Obviously I woke up with a headache and need for a chiropractor. Second the toilet was running when flushed. We jiggle the handle to make it stop running but then it leaked all over the floor. We tried to call the front desk but of course the phone was not operational. We went down and asked the girl for more towels since i had to use them all to clean the floor. She said that they had no more clean towels and that she was the only one in the entire building, no maintenance no room service, nothing, but she would make a note about the toilet for them to fix in the morning. The following day We were out of our room all day. When we came back the toilet was still running and the entire bathroom and entryway floor was completely flooded. We had no room service and never got the new towels. At this point it was 9 o'clock at Night so we went back down To the desk. All they could do was have us switch rooms, which was a huge inconvenience since we have a one-year-old who we were trying to get to bed and then had to stop and move everything down the hall. In this room the pillows were slightly better although at this point we had already went to Walmart and bought our own pillows just so we could sleep Somewhat comfortably. I asked if I would hear the noise from the party right before I checked in and the staff said that if we could hear the music, she would be glad to help us switch rooms. We couldn't near the noise, but the staff even called our rooms shortly after we settled in to see if we were ok with the noise levels. The room was larger than I imagined. It had a mini fridge too! The room I stayed in did not have a microwave, but another room we booked had one. So if you plan on using a microwave on your trip, be sure to ask when you check in! The complimentary internet was fantastic - no complaints there. The complimentary breakfast was underwhelming. Not a lot of selection, just the basic cereal, coffee, sausages, toast, waffles. Definitely less variety compared to the other Ramada's I have visited before in the US. Overall lovely weekend and would stay at this location again.

The bed was very comfortable and clean and came with lots of pillows. Big, flat screen television, refrigerator, microwave, desk, arm chair, and a desk chair make up some of the amenities of the space. There is a pool on the premises as well but I did not have the opportunity to partake. The hot continental breakfast did the trick each morning. Cereal (cold and hot), eggs, sausages, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, various breads, and fruits.
