Using the APP it was easy and efficient to reserve a room. When I arrived, there was plenty of parking. Check in was fast and easy and the rep friendly and helpful My room was comfortable with LOTS of electric plug ins which I greatly appreciated. The free breakfast was yummy waffles, coffee and cereal for me The hotel had wonderfully hot water so be careful Loved the location very close to the amazing Glass Museum Recommend you stay here

This Quality Inn is a gem. From the great service Christine provided to the nice comfortable room, to the nice breakfast, we really enjoyed our two-night stay. If you need a room in Corning, you can't go wrong with this Quality Inn. We will return to this place.

The very small Gym. Better reserve your time or Jenny won't let you in even though it is empty!

This is now a Quality Inn, not a Comfort Inn. My second time staying here but this will be the LAST. Lots out of order (computer, restroom in lobby, the only weight machine). NO elevator or automatic doors, so if you are on second floor, good luck! This place has a nice indoor pool (though kept too cold), and the rooms are fine with little fridges and microwaves. Pool and Gym require reservations now with COVID which present problems (see below). And breakfast right now is only a stale muffin/yogert in a bag. HOWEVER, be aware of the assistant manager Jenny, who could put the 3rd Reich to shame. I was here for 3 nights. The first morning I asked to get into the little (very little) "Fitness Center" at about 6:30. A very nice lady got me in, no problem. The second morning, I was a little later-- about7:30, and Jenny would not let me in until 8am "because COVID". Apparently the center has to be reserved so they can clean it between guests. Fair enough, except no one else was going to be in there before me, since I reserved the 8am spot. Nope-- I was forced to wait half an hour just because. This morning (I write this in the lobby) I tried to get in early again, before Jenny's shift started, but she clearly had told today's front desk lady to NOT let me in. I asked why, if I'm the first one signed up I couldn't get in a tad early and was told "it wouldn't be fair to other guests for me to have extra time." Want to guess how many guests were signed up to use the gym today? One-- yours truly. So this was all about some sort of power trip and not actual safety.

beds are super high and cushy.

4.5 stars at this price level. I'll always mark down for no elevator and no automatic doors. but that's my only complaint, and I can't even really complain about that, because ... check it out: I made my reservation online for a first-floor room, and got a call from the hotel about 15 minutes later saying that there weren't any more first-floor rooms available and the hotel has no elevator; would I be okay with the second-floor room? I thought it was so nice of them to call ahead and make sure that was okay before confirming the reservation. Top-notch service. Check-in was friendly and swift. There were cookies, brownie bites, carrots, celery, and other mixed munchies on a little table by the check in counter. A treat to see raw veggies! The beds are high and cushy, with comfy down comforters and both soft/firm pillows. I slept like a baby. Bathroom is spotless, great water pressure in the shower, and a little container with Qtips and cotton balls on the counter--nice touch. I like how this hotel is trying to do a few things differently. Price was a bit high but I think that's the area. Happy to have stayed here; it nudged my perception of Comfort Inn hotels toward the positive and I'll be more likely to consider them in the future after this stay.

Not accessible, no elevators or automatic doors. I watched an elderly man with A WALKER struggling to get up the stairs (another guest was helping him up, he mentioned they told him there were no rooms on the first floor) with no staff member in sight even trying to assist him. Toilet paper holder did not, in fact, hold toilet paper, the paint was peeling around the shower floor and it smelled of urine in the room. Had to have my key recoded each day I was here, and they never asked to see ID when coding the keys, just asked my name. Shower did not drain so had to stand in water while showering. They do have Nutella packets for breakfast though, so you can rage eat the memories away. 1 star for the Nutella only.

Really, really, really nice people at the front desk. Very accommodating with my last minute booking. I have stayed at the competition in Corning that is supposed to be a top drawer hotel. Let me tell you to save your money and stay at this Comfort Inn instead. My king room was beautiful, impeccably clean, and nicely decorated. The staff had cranked up the air conditioning and even left me a handwritten welcome note. The bathroom was big (with cotton balls and qtips in a dispenser -who does that?) and had everything I needed, plus some. Did I mention the fluffy bed and stack of pillows with a note that pointed out that the front pillows were softer and the back pillows firmer? The pool is very clean and is located in a nice Florida style enclosure. Very adequate FREE breakfast... Stay here when in Corning.

First of all it was around 11pm and after going to the original motel that claimed to be overbooked we made a call to Comfort Inn.

We had a full kitchen, big fridge/freezer with ice maker, dishes, microwave, 2 burners with pots to cook, microwave pyrex... tons of space, many lamps. 2 flat screen tvs with a great channel selection. We had a room with a pull out couch as well, though im a weirdo and just slept on tbe couch. Breakfast is free and changes day to day. Usually eggs of some sort, meat, fresh and sliced fruit, cottage cheese, yougurt, fresh waffles, cereal, oatmeal, pastrys (get the oatmeal cake!!) And salsa and cheese. Some weeknights there is a social hour (aka free dinner) with some reallly tasty items (salad usually with something fun like pizza, sliders, quesadillas, hamburgers etc) free wine and beer as well. Coffee and tea available at all times, and a pantry with items you may have forgotten but also awesome treats and beverages! Even wine! There is a laundry and fitness room, really good pool and spa with jets as well as a basket ball court, library and business center room. We really enjoyed the food and we had a room super close to the dining area. The pool was a bit if a walk, however its way faster to cut through the courtyard (bring your key!!) They have fresh cookies at the desk in the afternoons, I don't even like sweets, but the cookies are like crack. Not sure who makes them or if they are just tube dough but keep doing what you are doing. (Try the strawberries from breakfast with the cookies...) This place can easily feel like home with how comfortable it is. So close to corning and the finger lakes, its a no brainer.

Plentiful lighted parking surrounds the building. The entryway includes a check in desk, breakfast area, coffee and tea set up, ice machine, and small store with snacks and toiletries. Despite arrival at a very late hour, the front desk staff person was very friendly, chipper, and processed our keys in no time. We stayed on the second floor out of three in a very spacious room. The bed was very comfortable and clean and came with lots of pillows. Big, flat screen television, refrigerator, microwave, desk, arm chair, and a desk chair make up some of the amenities of the space. There is a pool on the premises as well but I did not have the opportunity to partake. The hot continental breakfast did the trick each morning. Cereal (cold and hot), eggs, sausages, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, various breads, and fruits. The hotel was very quiet, staff were friendly, and I would definitely stay here again if I were in the area. Couple of gas stations nearby, a Wendy's and a Bob Evans.

It originally started out as the Corning Hilton, with its commercial modernist design, and was a success from the time it opened. Later Hilton sold it to the Radisson and in August of 2022 it was purchased by Choice Hotels. We have stayed here many times over the years and since Choice purchased the hotel we have seen improvements in the overall condition of the building; however, much improvement needs to take place. For example, our room air conditioner was noisy and uncomfortably cold/warm all evening. The main hotel AC was very warm considering we had mid-90s degrees temperature during the daytime. Secondly, we felt that the bar, although attended quite nicely, the drinks were half the size that we remember while prices considerably higher. Lastly, another negative would be the overall condition of their outside gardens and plantings. I brought it to their attention because they have beautiful gardens and planting spaces, but they're not well cared for: a lot is overgrown with weeds and dead plants. The staff was kind and accommodating and we would return mostly because of its location to Market Street. Ironically, we have stayed at the hotel across the river (now Hilton) and that has always been a good experience with the exception of having to walk over the bridge to get to Market Street.
