Food was amazing. They had fried cabbage which I never had before but will definitely have again. Our server Lily and the chef were so sweet. They were very knowledgeable about the food and friendly. The chef even came out to check how we liked the food. It was a nice experience and very relaxing ambiance.

Staff was very nice, but food left a lot to be desired. All bacon/sausage was over cooked and flavor was not my favorite. Brought 12 people for breakfast and no one was a fan.

This was a cute cafe with live music. The food was delicious when it finally came. It was a "seat yourself" establishment, which can be a challenge for quick service. This was no different. We sat for about 15 minutes before being offered drinks, then waited quite a bit more for our food order. The waitress was all over the place, brought lemonades for water refills and charged us for them although they were never ordered or drank by us. We didn't even realize they were lemonades until the bill said we had OJ and we questioned it where we were told that was for the lemonade.....lol. So someone didn't get their lemonade! We were also charged separately for fries with sandwiches that the menu said came with them. So....all that said.... Good: Food was delicious!!! And reasonable (after they removed the extra charges) Needs improvement: Seating is TIGHT. Tiny place with way too many tables squeezed in. Orders are taken way out of order with the "seat yourself" option. We saw multiple people come in well after us that had their food before we even ordered.

I was pleasantly surprised with their food. The restaurant is a small spot with not much room for people to wait to be seated. There's about 7 tables or so. We came in & had to add our name to a waiting list. There was about 5 other parties listed ahead of us & we only waited about 25 minutes (which isn't bad). We sat down & after our order was placed we waited about 40 minutes or so for our food. I wasn't a huge fan of the wait... bc who likes to wait.. BUT everything was fresh & my tastebuds were satisfied.

We had some business to attend to in Ellijay. As we veered back home we opted to stop at a local diner on Main Street USA. Such a cute little town, walkable, eccentric, gives off an artistic vibe. This lil restaurant provided the needed refill as we left the house with no breakfast and A cup of coffee. Simple menu, big on portion sizes and flavor. Biscuits are tender and flaky as one would expect all slathered with the country gravy. I opted similar with two eggs over easy with cheese and bacon bits. Very filling but delish. As we looked around a musician was setting up his guitar for the mornings melody. If you have abs opportunity to stop here, do so. It's worth it.

Stopped in for breakfast Lots of good sounding choices. Very homey place. Nice people. I got the corned beef hash with some over easy eggs. This was very good. Lots of good flavors and crunch. Just the right portion size as well. I finished the whole thing! Deb had the biscuits and gravy. Large portions and tasty! the gravy was delicious. A great spot for breakfast when in the area with great food and reasonable prices and friendly people.

Stank service, rude waitress, awful food. Quite the triple whammy. Just go to Waffle House, they'll love you.

Food was only meh. The pancakes tasted like blueberry even though they were plain. Biscuits and gravy were very bland.

This used to be called the Ellijay CoffeeHouse House, but is now Mountain Town Coffee at Hemlock Bazaar (hopefully Yelp will accept my edits), and it has a great vibe. There's a back entrance and courtyard which we came through. The decoration is wacky- I don't know how else to describe it. It's old school and nostalgic but strange. On the other side of the wall there's an entire book store that is part of the business. It had one of the most impressive collections I've seen in a bookstore in awhile. It wasn't huge but it had a great variety of genres, and a lot of intriguing titles I hadn't heard of but sought to remember for later. The man working the register was a charm- he told us how Ellijay has their own tv production (which they were playing on an old school tv), a special Bigfoot podcast and more. Lastly, the coffee was, of course, delightful. I had a latte with a little bit of spice in it that was perfect to warm a person up in the cool early spring air when we were there. Had we known this would be such a cool stop I think we would have bargained even more time to just hang and enjoy the atmosphere. I think it could be a good place to sit and do work or read and there's lots of spaces to sit so it's not too loud.

It completely exceeded my expectations, and I've honestly been thinking about going back just to have it again. The fish was incredibly fresh--tender, flaky, and practically melted in my mouth. The breading was on another level: perfectly crisp, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. It paired really well with the beer-battered fries, which were also excellent. The portion size was massive. At first, the price seemed a bit high, but once the plate came out, it felt like a great value for the amount of food you get. We went during lunch, and it was fairly busy, so service was a bit slow. That might've been more understandable, but there were a few moments where our server seemed idle while we were still waiting, which stretched the meal longer than we would've liked. That said, she was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, so it balanced out somewhat. Overall, it was a great experience. The food alone makes it well worth a visit, and I'd definitely come back.

Oat milk or half and half were available. -No plastic knives for the cream cheese. We used wooden coffee stirrers which was fine but clumsy to navigate. -Not sure why reviews are so bad for bagels because they were fluffy with just the right amount of chew (close to NY style). I will say that after it being toasted, the bagel was not soft enough the day after to eat. But day-of, it was great. -Small seating area typical of little cafes. A few outdoor tables as well. -Very friendly service. Accommodating and welcoming to our child circus -the cheesy bagel isn't the typical Asiago most places carry, but an actual cheddar blend. Yummy.
