It's been 3 weeks since my trip to Georgia and Das Kaffee Haus. All I have to say is, I miss you. Now that I'm back in Houston I've tried my hardest to find an Egg Nog Latte that gives me the same feeling as yours did and that has yet to happen. This is truly one of the best coffee shops we've ever found while traveling. My husband and I first visited the location in Blue Ridge. We loved it so much that we immediately sought out this location, which was closer to where we were staying, the next day. Service was great. Coffee has the perfect balance of the roasted flavor and sweetness. Their hot egg nog latte is incredible. It beats Starbucks by a landslide. If I ever find myself back in this area of Georgia, you can bet I'll be here every day. read more

I've been to the Das Kaffee House in Blue Ridge and decided to stop by here for coffee on the way back to Florida. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were a few tables available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Coffee was good but not the best I've ever had. I had their version of a smores latte and my boyfriend got the matcha latte. Wish it was a bit sweeter for a smores flavored latte, but I definitely tasted the coffee! They had plenty of pastries and I decided on the almond danish. So good! read more

Everyone was so nice and kind. Coffee was really good. We had regular brew, cappuccino , specialty blends as well as taking out some biscotti for later and cherry Almond scone mix. Drinks are good and staff are friendly, But for the love of god, if you're going to offer "gourmet breakfast bagels and croissants" that also happen to be expensive, use good cheese, real eggs, etc. Just don't offer it if you aren't going to make it good. read more

Service not good, threw my drink in the trash, was way too sweet like dessert not a coffee. I was in line long enough to observe the owner and employees. Owner was rude to his employees and clients, unless you're a local favorite of his, then no holds bar with the red carpet treatment. You are made to feel rushed to order especially by him and then get out cause it's take out only. Don't waste your money on the overpriced coffees nor time. Ambiance - 5* Pretty interior and pastry display. Really nice seating that faces the window if you are lucky enough to grab one of the few seats. Service - 3* Boring, monotonous cashier but we received our drinks quickly without mistakes. Food - 4* Decent selection of pastries. I stopped by and there was a line up to the door but I was willing to wait. As I came into the store, it seemed disorganized and chaotic, so it took a bit to finally order. The girl trying to take my order was being berated by her manager while she tried to maintain composure. The coffee and danish, that I purchased, tasted old. I was appalled at how some employees were treated and I was embarrassed for them. Visited this town on a whim for the first time to get away and maybe visit an orchard. It wasn't relaxing trying to find a local breakfast spot. After numerous disappointing interactions, I don't think in general that they're prepared to be a tourist destination. To be straight forward, the line at Das Kaffee Haus was to the door but moved at a normal-fast speed. The woman manning the register was polite, patient and efficient. We tried the quiche and a leek and parmesan croissant. The quiche was soggy and waaaay to heavy on the spinach. It didn't get finished. The leek and parmesan croissant had a rubbery, greasy consistency but had a decent flavor other than that. The maple vanilla coffee was not good and the butterscotch latte was overpowered by the flavor of the Oatmilk so... Sad to say it but save yourself some coin and just go to the Starbucks that's a few blocks away. read more

This is a must visit place in Ellijay,Ga. This is an amazing little coffee café. They have a great selection of teas and coffee ,reasonably priced. The level of service I get here is truly wonderful. The pastries look amazing as well. Lots of parking out front. read more

Excellent customer service. Could use more comfy seating especially if you need to work for a while. Great drinks/pastries.

The atmosphere is nice enough- we'll see about drinks- but NO RESTROOM. In a food and drink establishment. How? Not even for employees?! We were sent to the visitor center down the street to use a restroom or even wash our hands for food. Gross. read more

Come to this Kaffee Haus! The alluring aroma will guide you there, for certain! The tastes matches the smell! The drinks are excellently executed and the options range from traditional coffee shop drinks to unique and creative flavors. The coffee is so good I went back the next day and brought someone else. The danish counter is amazing and ... THE PEOPLE ARE SO KIND!!! The lady at the counter was so patient with me and helped me decide what I wanted. She even brought me my things outside so that I could relieve my grandmother who was waiting with my pup in the rain. So kind. I'll definitely make a stop here when in town! read more
