We ended up wandering into Das Kaffee House as we were exploring Blue Ridge. A different coffee shop was recommended to us first by a local, but honestly we liked it here so much more! We ordered an egg nog latte and a hot chocolate. Absolutely loved both! I ended up seeking out a location closer to where we were staying the next day because I couldn't stop thinking about how good the egg nog latte was. I only wish we had more time in this town, so I could've tried one of everything off the menu! I travel often, so I feel qualified to say this is one of the best coffee shops I've been to. read more

Zucker Kardamom is a unique latte that cannot be found elsewhere. Surprisingly I'm really liking the cardamom flavors with espresso. I know I like Indian milk tea (heavily infused with cardamom), but this was my first taste of cardamom in coffee. I will keep an eye out of this mix going forward. read more

Ellijay/Blue Ridge has a Coffee House gem! Needing coffee on our way out of the Georgia mountains before the long drive home we needed coffee. Coffee we found at this cute coffee shop I wished I'd found earlier because it would have been a daily stop. My Latte was amazing and I took a Chai with me for the road that was scrumptious. My bff ordered a latte and changed a few things, she doesn't like some type of chocolate and even though the barista let her know "it might not taste like it should." The latte according to my bff was one of the best she's had! Service was fast for two workers and very polite and friendly with suggestions. I had a pastry croissant and it was fresh and buttery just like in Paris. So stop here and get your coffee and snack! read more

We came to Das Kaffee as another coffee shop we went to before had a line out the door. This place didn't have a very long line but should because the coffee was so good. I had a smoked marshmallow latte and the others had a toffee coffee. The service was amazing and even though there was only one person working, he did a great job. We also ordered sandwiches and he told us it would be a while and we completely understood as we saw he was working alone. We need more coffee shops like this in the world, amazing coffee with fantastic service. Also, don't sleep on the Oreo cinnamon roll, TO DIE FOR! This place deserves more hype! read more

Super friendly service, everyone working was also both patient and quick! Convenient location right on the Main Street of downtown Blue Ridge. There is limited seating both inside and outside, but most customers seemed to opt for walking around town with their coffees. They offer a large variety of flavors, and have unique flavor combinations as options of suggested flavors. They also offer a variety of milk alternatives, and all coffee drinks could be made iced, frozen, or hot. Definitely something for everyone! There were some baked good options as well, and it seemed as though they did also have gluten free/dairy free alternative baked goods. We were in town for a wedding this weekend and I sent my husband here to pick up some coffee for me and a few other bridesmaids. Unfortunately, since I wasn't able to go with him, I can't comment on service or atmosphere. For what it's worth, he did comment that it smelled amazing inside! Lol. He brought us back one hot coffee, two plain iced lattes (one with oat milk and one with skim), and an iced S'mores latte for me! The S'mores latte was beautiful and yummy, with a pretty chocolate drizzle on top. It was pretty sweet - heavy on the s'mores flavor and lighter on the coffee flavor - but as someone who likes sweet drinks, that was fine for me! I didn't get a report on the hot coffee but the two gals who got the iced lattes both commented on how they were yummy totally unprompted, so all in all, seems like a good find! My first time visiting Ellijay, GA and my boyfriend and I stopped in with some friends and as soon as I walked in I loved it! The whole atmosphere was welcoming and inviting, we got greeted when we entered, and they have a huge range of merchandise from whole bean options to mugs and even brewing equipment. I ordered the Black Forest cold brew (chocolate & cherry) and it was so good! I've never had this flavor combo in a cold brew, and the cold brew was smooth and not too strong. We will definitely be coming back when we visit Ellijay again :) read more

Service was friendly, and the coffee superbly iced and sweet. We wanted the frappe's, but for some reason they were "out." I guess the Labor Day weekend crowd must have done some damage. We settled for the nutella latte under the kraft kaffee specialty section. For a 12 oz, it's $5.50. And for 16 oz, it's $6. I guess the drink can be either hot or cold. We chose the iced version, and it was indeed cold and sweet. I love a super sweet tooth, and the drink def hit the sweet spot. The only con is that there were no indoor tables to escape the heat. There were chairs and spaces to sit, but there was a sign that said waiting area or something to that tune. read more

Love their Golden Milk latte! I've tried a couple of their beverages and none have disappointed me. It is located on the Main Street and can be seen from regular traffic. They also sell baked goods and handhelds. They also carry local granola and protein bars. They do sell coffee beans, ground coffee and aeropress. The service is fast and accurate. The staff is friendly and attentive. It is a very aesthetic cafe with minimal indoor and outdoor seating. There is free on street parking and some paid parking across the street for $5. read more

"Das Kaffee Haus", is so good!! Before all of the good stuff, the ONLY fault about this place is that it is sort of small, which can be a good thing...but not if it is busy. But past that, it has such good coffee!!!!!!!! I had a iced s'mores latte, it had the perfect about of s'mores and coffee! If you are a coffee lover but love a good chocolate flavor, I recommend!! The friends I was with had two of there other drinks and they were just as amazing. The service was perfect, the sweet cashier was spunky and was super kind. We got our drinks around 4 minutes after we ordered, so perfect about of time in my opinion:) These workers were working hard and carried a good attitude while being super busy. So Blue Ridge GA really is very pleasant. Its an area dotted with vacation spots and second home cabins, so there is no escaping the rustic feel of the place. DKH is a small coffee and snack spot located on the north central part of downtown Blue Ridge (above the railroad tracks). It's a smallish shop with a walk-up counter. There are some benches and things scattered around, but it's not really designed to be a place to dwell for long periods of time. If you really needed, you could camp out on the colorful window bench. I can't really speak to how it looks when there are peak time crowds; we were definitely not there during a rush. I ordered a nice danish and a decaf iced latte; partner did something similar. The drinks and snacks were very nice, and they were in our hands within five minutes or so. Aside from the quick service, the most interesting part of the ship was the wide selection of snacks and coffee paraphernalia for sale. Say you were in your rental cabin and needed a French press? You could get it here if needed. Need some very nice beans? They've got those too. I also remember seeing various jams, candies, and other things like that. Anyway, I liked the experience here very much. You will also probably like it. read more

Decent coffee shop in the Blue Ridge Downtown Main Street. They are very friendly and have a good option of drinks and pastries. I have been a couple times now and lean towards their specialty drinks vs their batch brew. The pastries are good, especially when my kids let me get a bite. It can be a bit slow, so if you don't mind the wait, you will enjoy it. read more

I was excited to check this place out, but the don't have any seating (and posted a sign that the bathroom was for staff only). Very unwelcoming, and I don't like wasting my time. I've been wanting to visit this highly talked about and highly acclaimed coffee shop for a while. I keep reading about it all over the place on the internet and in various local magazines for the past few years now...Luckily I had the opportunity to pay and visit and see what all the fuss is all about... It's location is fantastic smack in the middle of downtown Blue Ridge, GA where all the retail, restaurant and tourists shops are located. But don't let the appearence fool you the folks here are total non- snobbery and extremely friendly! I love how they combine the old with the new in their decor by pairing rustic tables with antique European furnishings. They also offer outdoor seating for days the sun isn't beating upon your forehead... They use Atlanta favorite Batdorff & Bronson coffee and have everything from basic drip to nitro cold brew to the more exotic like Turkish coffee. I had the opportunity to try their Bolvia brew when I was here which had a light nutty flavor with a bright toasty after taste...then I left the coffee on top of my car was I was driving off....it was okay, another excuse to go back to the coffee shop! Cute coffee shop in the center of tourist town Blue Ridge. They have a few seasonal flavored coffees to offer and some tasty looking treats. Unfortunately my husband and I are on a diet so we just got the regular coffee and had to pass on the huge cinnamon rolls and delectable array of biscotti Service was quick (considering our order was simple) but nonetheless done with a smile. This is our second time visiting this coffee house and we will be back! We have ordered hot cocoas, hot coffee and assorted lattes. Sometimes we grab sweets but not today. We had two hot cocoas with marshmallows with whipped cream (added bonus for asking if the kids wanted ice to cook it off quicker for enjoyment), a black hot coffee, a golden milk latte and a peppermint latte. Our oldest was unfamiliar with coffee but the staff was very patient, kind and helpful in assisting him in choosing the peppermint latte. Thank you!
