What a cute and comfy shop to spend a few hours. It's plenty of tables and soft places to rest after a day of exploring the town or the surrounding trails. Love the decor inside. Was in town for the District Honor Band during a weekend in February 2026 which also coincides with Valentine weekend, and President day weekend, and there's a chili cookoff happening. Long story short, Saturday morning around 10AM this place was packed and people were waiting in line outside of the shop. I tried the Aftercare Latte. So so so good! Amazing coffee!! I stopped by twice during our weekend vacation in blue ridge. Once for breakfast and once just for coffee. I love that they make their own syrup and have the ingredients listed. It's much cleaner than other coffee shop syrups. They had a gluten free option and use a dairy free yoghurt. During my Blue Ridge vacation, I was hopeful that I would find a place that does coffee the right way. After having coffee all around this place, I can confidently say that Mountain Mama's Coffee is doing it the right way. As a former roaster, I can appreciate the small things like how they worked the bar during a rush, the customer service of the staff, and attention to detail by the baristas to ensure every shot was pulled, milk steamed perfectly, and providing quality coffee. This hands down is the best coffee shop in this area. I had a cup of drip coffee which was a blend of Peru and Brazilian coffee beans. It was nice to finally be able to enjoy a black cup of coffee on this trip. I also had a cheese danish and a Morning bun which were both tasty and satisfying. The environment was very cool! Loved the decor and it was a nice size space that used every corner they could without it compromising the aesthetic. Sad I didn't get to Mountain Mama's earlier on this trip but I know from here on out it will be the only coffee shop I come to. read more

This is an unforgettable coffee shop and a true gem of blue ridge. You might want to get here early if you're strolling on the weekends as this place has a packed line the whole morning. But during the week you might find less busier times. Upon walking in they have a chest filled with food you can donate or take if you're in need. A great indicator that this is a place that care deeply about their community. The designs are refreshing, sleek and so cozy and have a wonderful staff. Clean bathrooms with little cards in them to hand to a staff personal if the bathrooms are dirty. This whole place is designed well. The coffee and the quality of beans is unmatched. I am proud to call myself a Mountain Mama! Had a cabin trip with a huge group of friends and we made sure to stop here every single morning. Do not be intimidated by the line as it moves quickly and is worth every second. My favorite coffee was A Month of Sundays, similar to Starbucks' cold brew but this was SO MUCH better. Next time I would ask for lighter creamer but wow it was delicious. The breakfast sandwich on a cheesy bagel was INCREDIBLE. A little on the greasy side, but had all the right factors, savory andcrunchy. The vibes are immaculate and all of us in our group bought merchandise happy to be sporting them in Miami! Super cute shop over at Blue Ridge, GA! Parking can be a hassle especially if it's busy as it's in a busy downtown area with plenty of shops. When you enter you are met by the cutest decor! Absolutely love the aesthetic as it's totally true to theme of the name! The baristas were patient despite it being a busy day! I ordered a matcha latte and they took their time making it. While I waited I visited the bathroom and it was somewhat clean. What I did love was them having "tidy tickets" to hand over to staff if the bathroom needed some cleaning. Once I got my matcha, I was so pleased with how it came! It was overly sweet at all and had no sugar but it tasted just like matcha with the hint of vanilla I asked for. I love the high quality cups they serve with. Overall, this place was such a fun visit. The coffee was great and the service was phenomenal. I usually stick to my go to a latte with whole milk or a honey lavender latte but this time I switched it up and ordered the "Heavens to Betsy" from their seasonal menu. It's a vanilla shaken espresso with honey apple butter cold foam, and oh my gosh... it was so dang good! Easily one of the best drinks I've had . I also grabbed a hot chocolate, along with two pastries and a cookie, and everything was delicious.The aesthetic is adorable cozy, inviting, and the kind of place you can see yourself enjoying year round, not just during busy tourist seasons. The vibe?- 100. Decoration? 100. Unique menu? 100! They have a specialty coffee called a UFO and it was cherry vanilla flavored, and I'll tell you what it was definitely out of this world! Like seriously, fruity flavors are hard to work with in coffee but this one was so stinking good. Both me and my friend that got it was just blown away. We got there right before the rush but it was still a nice spot even when busy. If you get food that can be a little slower but they have a lot of options so you can make it a brunch/ breakfast stop too if you wanted. That was the only disappointing thing for me- I tried one of their homemade pop tarts and it was the complete opposite experience of the coffee. It was dry, had hardly any filling and just very forgettable. But the overall memory of this place deserves 5 stars. It feels funny being in the Georgia mountains and walking into this hippy, slightly Hawaii themed coffee shop, which makes it all the more fun. read more

This is a great spot in Blue Ridge to grab everything from just a coffee to a full on breakfast. It was busy, but the space was set up really well. It's kid friendly and comfortable. I had the Mountain Mama iced latte and it was superb. If you're a coffee snob, this had excellent tasting notes of dried stone fruits, maple, and vanilla. I didn't get one, but the offerings in the bakery display looked so so good. Overall it was a great way to start the morning and then walk around to see some of the stores and historical sites. We parked for free on the Main Street just a few steps away from this bustling microcosm of the town where the aroma of freshly ground beans mingled with the chatter of locals and tons of tourists were catching up over steaming mugs of coffee and small bites. The smallish space was constantly packed, with wooden tables crammed together. The restaurant was cut down the middle with a constant flow of hungry customers waiting to place their orders. Of course it is the holidays, it may have a better feel during less hectic time. We found a long table made for 6 which was overflowing with trash. We cleaned the table ourselves (shame on those who left it that way). The baristas, a friendly bunch with perpetual smiles (I could not have been that nice with some of those folks), expertly navigated the chaos behind the counter, calling out orders over the hum of the espresso machine as they frothed milk for the latest creative holiday lattes and cappuccinos. We ordered from both the seasonal and all year menus: The Woodsman Latte ($7) with espresso, maple, milk and roasted pecan syrup and a Hikers bagel ($10) with avocado, red onion, cream cheese and micro greens on a everything bagel. My mom had drip coffee ($3.50) you serve yourself and a blueberry muffin and hubby just had drip coffee and shared my bagel. The food was tasty and hot, coffee on the stronger side but good, for my latte I did ask for the syrup to be light, if you like it sweeter you can ask for more, they are very accommodating. And of course, adding to the cozy holiday feeling, Christmas music played overhead. On my last trip to blue ridge I visited this place when they first opened and was pleasantly surprised with its relaxing ambiance and amazing drinks- it became a coffee shop I would always think about. I wish I was more local to Blue Ridge so I could visit this coffee shop EVERY DAY! It was definitely busy but I expected as much for a productive Sunday afternoon. The decor and vibe inside the coffee shop was so cute! I felt right at home with all the plants and LED signs. I went of one of their speciality coffees called the Milky Way if I remember right. The staff was very friendly, the location was cute and had obvious mountain vibes. The drink I got was the worst chai I've ever had. I took 2 sips and tossed it.
