As a former roaster, I can appreciate the small things like how they worked the bar during a rush, the customer service of the staff, and attention to detail by the baristas to ensure every shot was pulled, milk steamed perfectly, and providing quality coffee. This hands down is the best coffee shop in this area. I had a cup of drip coffee which was a blend of Peru and Brazilian coffee beans. It was nice to finally be able to enjoy a black cup of coffee on this trip. I also had a cheese danish and a Morning bun which were both tasty and satisfying. The environment was very cool! Loved the decor and it was a nice size space that used every corner they could without it compromising the aesthetic. Sad I didn't get to Mountain Mama's earlier on this trip but I know from here on out it will be the only coffee shop I come to.

Upon walking in, the aroma of coffee filled the space which is always a promising sign going into a coffee shop. Let's start off with saying the environment, decor and bookstore part of this shop is amazing. Great books for the little ones, nice little seating spots to drink your coffee and read, and overall such a nice environment. I ordered a Cortado and while they were slammed, I appreciated the quick pace in which I received my drink. My only suggestion for this place is to invest in some barista training for the staff. Learning how to dial in the espresso, properly steam milk and some workflow changes would honestly make this probably one of the best shops up here. So much potential and excited to see how it progresses when I come back to visit.
