Coffee Shop No. 474 Canopy + the Roots Coffee Dalhonega, GA March 10, 2025 Canopy + the Roots Coffee gave me the impression that community is their focus. It looks like a typical coffee shop with bright natural light, plants in the window (which I think were fake), and fantastic coffee. When you start to explore a bit you learn the shop has so much more to offer like yoga classes, live music, comedy shows, and merchandise from local artists. The barista was sweet too. University of North Georgia is right around the corner so I imagine Canopy + Roots Coffee is a second home to many of them. The cortado was placed in ceramic cup with no handles; kinda like a bowl. It cradled perfectly in my hand. It was served a little on the cool side, but it was my favorite cortado in Dahlonega. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

Delicious coffee, relaxing ambience and great service! We tried different types of coffee and teas in this amazing spot and everyone loved it. We sat down and relaxed there for a while talking and resting, the place has that vibe that you just want to stay there! The barista was super friendly, nice and explain to us all the events and activities they do at Canopy + the roots!

We love local coffee shops. Canopy was a nice welcome to our last day in North Georgia. It was 35 degrees out so a hot cup of coffee was perfect. Our picks were from the fall menu: pB & Honey and a harvest spice. Seriously recommend this for a nice quiet coffee stop early on Sunday mornings.

Vanilla latte for me, hot chocolate for my wife. Terrible, I dont know what else to offer as a description. Neither of us were able to finish our drink. $10.92 for two small drinks and they actually asked for a tip.

All are fantastic and lead by individuals who are passionate about what they do. My first class was Christ centered yoga led by Hollie. Hollie is amazing and has such a strong belief and so much love. Her class is amazing and not only are you doing yoga but you are also reinforcing your beliefs. I then did a yoga basics led by Ashliee who owns the studio. She is amazing and loves what she does. She leads a great class and has such wonderful energy. So far the yoga has been amazing and best part is my husband loved it and attends with me now too. Now onto the therapies. First I had the cupping massage. Look it up and if your don't know it is. You get a nice massage follow by the cups being placed on you that drawn out the toxins in the body and get your blood circulating to those areas. I found it to be relaxing and helped with some of my sciatica pain. My husband had the same treatment and liked it as well but didn't find it as relaxing as myself. Next I did the Shirodhara. It is an oil dripping treatment and a nice soothing treatment. It was such a relaxing and blissful experience. It's bit really a massage but a soothing treatment for yourself. I relaxing and just enjoyed being there and letting go of all my worries. If your looking for massage or yoga you can look no further and come in, just don't take my spot.

Bedroom doors have locks. The beds- Imagine sleeping on a cloud with a cloud on top of you along with an additional luxurious blanket. Several different pillows (3 on a twin bed!) are provided for your preferred level of fluffiness. The shower has immediate hot water and good pressure. The unit is quiet at night and feels safe. GETTING AROUND: You can walk to all the facilities within 3-5 minutes, 7 minutes if you stroll. You can take the road with a slight incline, or climb about 10 rock stairs (WITH handrails!!). OUTSIDE: A huge firepit surrounded with plenty of comfortable chairs is right next to a peaceful pond with a small man-made waterfall. You can hear frogs croak evening and morning. There's a turkey loitering, and can point you in the right direction. You can enjoy the best stargazing ever on the wide lush carpet of grass. MEETING PLACES The gorgeous round mandala house allows a 360 degree view of the mountains. Below is a kitchen and eating area. You can eat inside, or at a picnic table outside. They even have those big heaters in case it's cold outside! The Tea room is open 24 hours a day with plenty of comfortable seats, and beautiful views outside. Food- I wouldn't be surprised if the chef planned the perfect amount of macro/micro nutrients for optimal health. There's less variety and volume than I'd prefer (but probably the perfect calorie count). I advise bringing additional snacks. There's so much more. Just go there. By the way, I have no affiliation with Elohee, just a lucky person who found this place.

After we had our initial consultation and discussed goals, we had allergy/intolerance & nutritional deficiency testing to determine what specific changes to start with. Ange went over the results and walked us through the process of cleaning out our kitchen, choosing products at the grocery store, and made a meal plan for the week based on what my kids already like. Substituting ingredients for healthier ones in recipes that the kids enjoy made the first steps to change less overwhelming. I feel amazing and never would have believed just how much better I would feel. I've seen positive changes in my kids' focus and behavior. I can't wait to add the other components that this Wellness Center offers - Cooking classes, Yoga classes, massage, and organic skin care! This the perfect place to escape stress and take a break. I can relax with a cup tea(they have a variety to choose from), while the kids have their own yoga class. I love having a place with healthy fun activities, rather than going to a noisy restaurant or bar to get away from the daily grind.
