Inside, is a small artisan coffee roaster who sells perfected coffee. The name, Belux represents owners' names, Ben and Lucy. They specialize in small batch ROASTING and PROPERLY BREWED COFFEE. They sell light to medium beans and serve ONLY coffee here...no food nor over sugared coffee disasters. I had a dopio and Ben kindly added a spoonful of foam for me. It was the most fragrant shot I've ever had. I fell in LOVE. Definitely the best coffee I've had in a couple of years! Belux speaks coffee. This is the only purist coffee retailer I'm aware of in Georgia and am so thankful, albeit 45 minutes drive. Also, they are the only one to offer Gesha outside of a special event. It was really smooth and a very nice quality. The second drink was an iced latte from their specialty menu that had been renamed for a special event I was attending. I loved the flavor of the coffee, so much so that I grabbed some of their beans to take home as well. Merch - There was a great selection of merch from the company and local artisans as well. The stickers and mucus has some really cool designs. Staff - the baristas were some of the nicest people. Not only were they slinging drinks and working the event, but they were just amazingly personable and kind to all of our group. Location - most importantly though was the stunning location. My two complaints are that it got pretty cold in their glass windowed area- they had a small heater but it wasn't doing much, and they don't give free cups of water here. I'd recommend adding larger heaters and getting a couple of them, considering how cold it can get in North GA in the winter. I'd also recommend giving free water instead of requiring that people buy bottled water. If you were in the Atlanta area, not offering free water would be a code violation. Not sure if that applies here but just to be courteous to your customers you should be doing that. Back to the positives... I ordered a coffee based frappe with the "glamping" flavor (white chocolate and marshmallow) and I thought it was amazing. 10/10. I would definitely order it again. My order came out in a decent amount of time and the employees were friendly. The prices were reasonable and we found parking easily. I would happily come here again! I think there could be a couple improvements (the water issue is why I deducted a star) but if they address those few things then I'd think the place is a 5/5 :) I would come back! Ended up going with the Dirty South blend and grabbed myself a decaf Americano while I was there. Really enjoyed it. Smooth, flavorful, and not overly strong or bitter like some Americanos can be. The Dirty South blend smelled incredible too. Great local coffee spot with a solid atmosphere. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.
