A Cantonese-style roast meats platter and water for under $10 in Flushing! On my most recent visit, I got a platter of roast duck over rice + cabbage. The skin is crispy, and the meat is well-seasoned, tender, and lean, which is how duck's supposed to be. It's $10 on the menu, but if you pay in cash, you get a 20% discount (tax not included). That 20% discount goes for all the stuff on their menu. Most people come to Corner 28 for their roast meats section and it'll definitely fill you up. There's a wide selection of roast meats and you know it's legit when you see them all hanging on the window, fresh and glistening with a bright light behind it Growing up, Corner 28 actually used to be located on the corner, just down the block. When I was younger I used to visit here quite often to get a filling meal of meats, vegetables, and carbs all in one platter for a very affordable price. They also used to give soup instead of a water bottle! Corner 28 (135-24 40th Rd, Flushing, NY 11354) Open daily 8am-8pm

Cheap and delicious eats in Flushing. They're cash only so the prices listed you get 20%off on the receipt. Choose your items, get a receipt, give it to the cashier with cash, and get the receipt stamped. Give the stamped receipt back to the first person you ordered with and get your stuff. I saw that they had QR codes for some kind of pay with mobile, was not sure which platforms.

Keepin it real out here in Flushing Is it the bestest roast meat? no But it's an establishment, also not really cause they had to move, but its old school, its been around, its consistent, its affordable, checks all the boxes you can expect from a roast meat place

Great addition to your food crawl in flushing for chashiu rice or if you're feeling hungry and have only 10 dollars you can get a giant thing of chinese roast bbq park over rice and it's super filling if you were to eat it yourself they give you so much meat. It was like 8.71 when we paid and it hit the spot. Definitely authentic flavors here, though as far as chashiu goes I think i've had better but you really can't beat these prices and how convenient and fast it is, especially with how close it is to so many other food crawl spots (white bear, peking duck window at shanghai you garden). Do yourself a favor and check this place out, they're keeping it real and offering authentic Chinese cuisine in a no frills place in a quickly modernizing Queens chinatown!

This stall right off main street has one of the best roast meat platters that you can get! Walking by the stall, you can see all of their meats on display, looking fresh and juicy. I got the 3 meats platter here, which came with rice, cabbage, water, and your 3 choice of meats (I chose the classic chicken, duck, and pork). The portion was so generous for $10, and all of the meat was delicious. The cuts were thick, they were juicy, and so full of flavor. One of the best deals I've seen. Highly recommend.

Solid roast meat joint that offers authentic Chinese BBQ goodness. Prices are very reasonable and pretty much anything I get here is great. This is one of my go to places whenever I'm craving char siu or roast duck.

Believe me, I've tried a bunch of Chinese sam bo fans (3 meats over rice) in Flushing, and this has been the best I've had. They were running some sort of promotion when we went, where they not only discounted the items, but they also gave us bottled water? What a deal! Cash only. The meat quality was the best I've seen. Well prepped in flavor, well cut, tender, and large pieces! They even give yu choy, compared to the usual cabbage. This was everything I can ask for. If you're ever craving like me, Corner 28 will satisfy.

I came back here today for a quick lunch and it did not disappoint for the price and quality of food you can not go wrong. I only get the roast pork from here. There isn't much ambiance and the service is confusing your first time.

Heard a lot about this and it was actually pretty good. The roasted pork was juicy and the skin was crispy. The duck was juicy too. The charisiu was just okay to be and I don't really like Chinese broccoli. Overall, this place was good and they take cash only I think. The service was good and everyone was nice. It's a small shop so takeaway is the idea.

Cuisine: 6 Service: 7…read moreDecor: 4 Value: 7 I have not been here in a long time. Maybe because the prices are no longer considered cheap eats. Or maybe because my taste buds have evolved over the years. Or maybe it's just not as good as it used to be. The answer is maybe all three and somewhere in the middle. I have never came here, or any other Latino-Chinese restaurants in NYC, for service or decor, so let's set that aside. The value is still somewhat there, but the food did not hit that nostalgic note I was looking for. I wanted to get the Fried Pork Chops (Chuletas De Cerdo Frita), but our server suggested the "juicier" Broiled Pork Chops (Chuletas De Credo Asada) instead. Sorry to report, if that's juicy, then how dry is the fried pork chops? I shutter at the thought. It was also under seasoned. I substituted the House Fried Rice for my side at an $4.50 additional fee. It was just okay and not worth the upgrade. Boneless Crispy Fried Chicken (Chicharron De Pollo) was also a disappointment. The batter was more hard than crispy, but the idea that boneless dark meat isn't more juicy simply tells me that the chef over fried the pieces. It came with Fried sweet plantains, which could have been a but more ripe but not bad. I'm not sure how I feel about the Beef Stew (Carne Guisada), which had relatively tender meat, but the sauce was so weak and lacked any real flavor. The black beans and white rice that came with it was decent. What might bring me back to this restaurant sooner rather than later was the Shrimp Egg Foo Young (foo Young Con Camarones). I felt that the eggs were cooked extremely well, but the star of the show was that delicious brown sauce full of umami. Having this over white or fried rice made this meal much more acceptable. I'm not sure when I'll have another craving for this type of food. If I do, I'll definitely get the egg foo young again. However, the other dishes were misses for me, so maybe I'll try the Fried Pork Chops and Shredded Beef in Tomato SayceRopa Vieja.

I ordered the cured pork with garlic shoots and dry fried green beans. The cured pork was quite salty, and paired well with the buttery, tender leeks it was cooked with. The dish was not overly oily, and was pleasant over white rice. I enjoyed the chewiness of the pork which allowed you to experience the complex flavor. The green beans were well fried, with characteristic texture signature to this dish. The seasoning was very well balanced and not overpowering to the natural sweetness of the green beans. I would recommend either dish. They were both slightly toned down iterations when compared to the times I've eaten these dishes at other Sichuan restaurants in flushing, but still well seasoned and well cooked. The service was very warm and friendly, and many other customers seemed to be returning regulars.

Warning to all with a pineapple allergy like me: do not eat the duck sauce. If you like spicy ask for hot mustard instead. Orange chicken was crispy and flavorful. I did not find it spicy, but my spice tolerance is very high. My fiance had the chicken with broccoli and it looked amazing. Try the cold noodles. They are chewy and delicious. For me the fried dumplings were good, but not great. Worth a try but nothing to rave over.
