Best funnel cake, I wish they were open Friday-Sunday Corn dog was just ok. I like the vibe of the place

I wanted to give this place 5 stars. Let me preface this with the WORKERS are ROCKSTARS. The cook and cashier was holding it down. They just could not support the demand. Wrong orders were being handed out, the wait was longer than I wanted but their attitudes stayed positive. I had a yelp coupon that was not honored because the staff knew nothing of it. They called the manager but I didn't receive a clear answer why I couldn't redeem it. I saw the hustle in the staff so I felt compelled to tip. Im honestly not sure if I will be back if this the norm. The food was good.

The State Fair being closed this year is devastating, as it's my favorite day of the year. Luckily, they did a drive thru event so you can have your photo with Big Tex, but there was no food. LUCKILY, there's Corn Dog With No Name, 15 to 20 minutes from the fair grounds (the GPS got us lost). While it was definitely an experience, (you'll see), being able to eat that infamous corn dog and a funnel cake made me feel like my back-up Fair day was truly complete. So why was it an experience? The restaurant itself is closed except for take out, but for safety you can't take out by walking in the store. They don't have a drive thru, so they got really creative. When you pull into the parking lot, there are little signs everywhere that have arrows to the place that say "corn dog" and "funnel cake this way" and "no name". You then pull up to a sign that has a QR code for the menu. You then call a number and the owner opens the back door and talks to you on the phone. It was odd, but kind of fun. You then read your card info over the phone to pay and a man in a mask brings you a bag with your order. Multiple people in your car paying for their food? No problem. They're willing to split it off and place orders back to back with one phone call. I'm disappointed we didn't get to go before Covid - it's extremely far from where we live - because the store itself looks so cute in pictures and I would have loved the luxury funnel cakes. While the offerings they have now are still varied, some of the fun sides aren't offered and there's only the standard funnel cake. I also wish they would have let us sit at the outdoor patio seating. We parked and sat in the grass in front of the building they share with Jason's Deli but there were ants AND they offer alcohol and we were nervous someone may not be pleased we were sitting in a parking lot with open White Claws. I did like that they automatically packed condiments and napkins without asking, cause it didn't even cross my mind. There definitely should be more than 1 ketchup for the fry order since it brings a lot, but they were tasty plain too. They also pack up the powdered sugar for the funnel cake so that it doesn't get weird before you eat it and so you can determine how much coating you want. I wish it were closer because I want to go back, but I'm really thankful we went and it gave me a little taste of our cancelled yearly tradition.

FLETCHER's MOVE OVER... there's a new corn dog in town. Totally amazing corn dogs. Thick corn bread batter perfectly fried to a crisp crunchy bite every time. Tender all beef hotdog. Traditional yellow mustard. Funnel cake is thick, like double thickness of a regular Funnel cake. Fried perfectly on both sides and topped with ample powdered sugar for a delicious treat that melts in your mouth. I'm going to have to say that this was the best funnel cake we have ever had in our entire lives. It's worth the trip... so get your taste of the Texas State Fair this year at "CornDog with no name". But it's not easy to find... follow the signs, it's on the other side of the old Jason's Deli.

No Name is in The Game! A group of my buddies went for lunch at no name and to be honest as soon as I got out of the car and saw the sign I felt like a kid again. What is it about a perfectly fried corn dog that makes me giddy? Maybe it's because it's like going to the state fair any time you want, or at least any time the restaurant is open. What you will find at the No Name (10220 Technology Boulevard) restaurant is a gourmet approach to funnel cake, corn on the cob, and of course, the best corn dogs ever made! Who cares about a name? Corn dogs with no name is just fine with me! I had two big ole Corn Dogs (extra crispy) curly friends and yes, a fabulous funnel cake; don't judge me! I couldn't help myself, they were "fried perfection on a stick"! Four Stars for No Name Happy Eating Y'all!

I had heard plenty of buzz about this place opening up a few minutes from my office and I HAD to try it! I didn't check-in originally because of the name dispute, which led me to believe it wasn't on Yelp (thank you however had the courage to make a page!) My first impression was that everything inside was so nice and clean! Although it was state-fair food, it was presented in such a chic manner! The staff looked and sounded very professional. Their menu was simple to grasp and navigate. They have a good set of meal deals, one of which I chose for my dinner. The plain corn dog tasted like a high quality corn dog, but I'm not sure it was worth $6. I am excited to go back soon to try another type of corn dog that has better toppings. I also want to return to try out the bar area as well as the funnel cake. Someone ordered the s'mores funnel cake and it looked delicious! Make your way over to this place while the time is right!

The ambiance, funnel cake and the elote had to be the best things about this place. I will definitely be back to try the happy hour drink specials. The only thing I would pass on next time, are the curly fries. Way too much fried food for me, at one time.

Classic Corn Dog & Funnel Cake simply dusted with powdered sugar!

I don't live in Dallas, but [No Name] has a booth at the Houston Rodeo (sadly shut down early this year) & we were lucky enough to try it last weekend. We got a classic corn dog & funnel cake which were both absolutely delicious! I'm already looking forward to next year's Rodeo so that I can have them again!

    Big Vic. So good!

Who doesn't love corn dogs and funnel cakes? This place definitely delivers. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Jace. She was so sweet and helpful. I have a 2 yr old and was pleased to see a kids corner equipped with 2 IPads and books. . We ordered the Cheese, the Trio and the Big Vic. The cheese was fried mozzarella (corn dog style) and a cup of tomato basil soup. My daughter loved it. The Big Vic was a play on chicken and waffles. Loved the presentation! The chicken was crispy with a hint of maple syrup. The funnel cake was cooked perfectly. It was definitely the highlight of the meal. The trio was great. You get to try the Spice, the Beef, and the original. I'm not a huge fan of the state fair corn dog that shall not be named. I must say the Grand daughter does it better! Great modern decor! Excellent service! Fun and good food!

Cute spot for moms meet up or dates.

My son and I live in Las Colinas and I'm always looking for kid friendly restaurants. I searched Yelp and found Corndog with No Name and decided to give them a try. It's tucked away on Technology Blvd, but from the curb appeal, you'll know that you're in for a treat. My son loved everything from the chalk boards to the iPad kid station! I'm vegetarian and was pleased that they had both vegan and vegetarian options (not sure if they use the same batter as they do with the meat, so be sure to ask). "The Cheese" comes with tomato basil soup and I also tried the veggie Corndog - both were satisfying and most importantly, they weren't greasy. The soup was very tasty and my son ate most of it! The owner was friendly and helpful and the so was the staff. I'm sure we will go back! Definitely kid approved!

First trip to No Name and the inside is incredibly clean! The staff is awesome and super personable. The back story about the Fletcher family is something out of a movie and it is without a doubt a place to try out! Oh and by the way the cocktails are fantastic! Various TVs in the dining room area have all sorts of sports. Overall: Great atmosphere Great staff Great eats Great drinks

Down Dallas way for work when my local counterpart mentions a restaurant he's heard about - the name is under construction due to some legal family issues but they sell some delicious Artisanal Corn-Battered franks. Being a fan of the Corndog and having had one for breakfast from a gas station - I figured why not? I arrived and was immediately greeted by the founder/owner who immediately gave me a menu as the electronic menu was a bit far away. Super friendly staff! Every single staffer there had a giant, genuine smile. They were all extremely helpful and made the experience that much better. I can't say I've had a friendlier experience at any place I've ever eaten at. I ordered the Classic and the Spice - both were incredibly tasty though the spice was a bit much for my yankee palate. Can't wait to come back and try more!

The bartender went back to texting in the corner and we sat at the bar listening to the music playing in the open concept lobby/bar area We eventually took over the seating area that group was in because the couches looked more cozy than the bar. The happy hour advertised is not a thing anymore, they now have reverse happy hour from 9-10. The beers weren't too expensive as our tab was only $13 which I doable. The bartender disappeared from the bar for a fair amount of time which made me anxious because I used to be a bartender, I guess he trusted we wouldn't leave without paying. He didnt come check on us to see if we needed another beer but that was ok I guess. I went back up to the bar to cash out and that was that. Trying to modify our reservation over the phone proved unnecessarily complicated. The automated prompts felt excessive, and no one ultimately picked up. That said, right at our reservation time, the host called to confirm whether we were on our way. I appreciated that. In a small space, holding a table matters, and they did. The room is warmly lit, modern, and chic without trying too hard. The ambiance encourages conversation. There are always inventive additions to the drink menu, and that's where Bar Colette truly distinguishes itself. The music this particular evening felt slightly off, but it hardly detracted from the purpose of the space: expertly crafted cocktails and unhurried dialogue. This time, I ordered two Tucanone Bombolones (Amaro Montenegro, Legal Mezcal, and nuanced herbal notes) and two Pearadise cocktails (lavender-infused Grey Goose Le Poire, Oloroso, pear, spiced wine, yogurt whey, and honey-almond brittle). Both were flawless. Balanced, intentional, and technically impressive without being overworked. Credit is due to the bar team and the Feels Like Home group for maintaining a standard that never wavers. In a city full of options, intention is what separates the ordinary from the memorable. The finest bars know they're not simply pouring drinks, they're curating the feeling you carry with you when you walk out the door. Bar Colette understands that distinction.

My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Monaco is one of the prettiest restaurants in all of DFW. Dark wood and dark blue seating invite you in. The bar is stunning, with back lighting highlighting their drinks. There's also an outdoor seating area, including a wind shield - perfect when the weather is nice. This is a great spot for a weekend date night if you want something outside of Dallas. 1 Star. Service - Everyone was very nice. We were never rushed, all dishes could be customized to order, and I never had to ask for a refill. Nothing but good people here. 1 Star. Food - Let me start by saying presentation matters, and the dishes at Monaco are great for your Instagram or Yelp feed. I started with the roasted oysters. I chose it because the description said the oysters are "topped with bone marrow butter". That, combined with the roasted breadcrumbs, added a nice crunchy and smooth texture to the delicious oysters. For my main, I went with the Salmon St. Harve. This beautiful dish had a perfectly prepared salmon. Soft and flaky, but with a crunch from the skin at the bottom. It was served on top of grilled asparagus and topped with a cream sauce that brought everything together. Delicious. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. It's not a secret that I love Water Street. This is an awesome area in the heart of DFW, and I'm so happy there is an upscale restaurant like Monaco that has amazing food. 1 Star.
