Vegetable Souvlaki with pita bread and hummus
    Melissa M.

I have passed by this place for decades and always wondered what this place was, but never went in. My boyfriend wanted to go. It is a very strange looking place, it was like a club/sports bar/ restaurant. There weren't many people in there for a Tuesday dinner. It was a bit strange. To my discovery, they had a ton of Vegetarian/vegan options! Their menu was a mix of greek and Mexican food. I got the vegetable kabob on top of a bed of rice with pita bread and hummus. All i have to say is O.M.G. The food was amazing!!!! This was so good! The staff was nice, we had three servers helping us that night. The food was so good that i will come back at another time in the future!

I have heard about this place for a long time now, but I never thought to give them a try, but since I have to find a decent gyro sandwich in the Dallas area because my go-to gyro place in the Bishop Arts area pretty much gave up cause of covid. They only open up from 4:00 - 9:00 pm and there are times I just don't feel like driving down to the Bishop Arts District during that time, so anywho, I think I found my new gyro place. I was in the area, so I called in the order and once I got there, it was ready. I wanna say it was around 3:00 pm-ish and it was dead. I think they had two patrons at the bar, and that was it. I am sure this place picks up during the evening. I say that this place isn't really in the best part of town either, so there ya go. So I got the sandwich home and man, I was really impressed with the way the sandwich looked and the fries were perfectly cooked. I think I have found my new gyro place in the Dallas area. I will be back.

I absolutely love Stratos! Their food is great! It's an interesting restaurant because it feature two types of food option. Your choice of either Mexican or Greek. Both are solid options. My personal favorite here is the pozole! I dare say one of the best in town! Few others even compare. For the Greek I like a Gyro and Tatziki as an appetizer. The service is fairly decent though if it is busy it can be a tad slow. Don't be afraid to give them a friendly reminder if needed. The place itself is cool because there is lots of space and has a disco ball in the center. The place turns into a club at some point in the night. Might just be on weekends. I recommend trying the margaritas for drinks especially if you go during happy hour! It has its own parking lot so unless it is packed it shouldn't be an issue.

Stratos was great at lunch. Definitely "used to be a disco strip club" and could use an update. Lots of parking. The gyros were amazing but would add cucumber. The fries were all perfectly crispy, and there were so many! We tried a Greek beer here that was good. Huge photo opp throne chair in the entryway.

Super cool stage. Sets the tone and atmosphere. These people know how to run a place with a great vibe.

The food was delicious! I got the lamb gyro and it was big and great tasting. The fries were also good. The place looks like a strip club still inside and out, not sure if that's the look they're trying to keep. There was a man on a ladder fixing some light, but also many tools everywhere, so I'm not sure if they're renovating. Could use some changes but still great food and service!

This is a very interesting restaurant and bar. I took my friend here for her birthday on a Friday evening because this is where she wanted to go. We wanted to book a table for 13 people which we were able to. This restaurant turns into a club around 10pm but before then they have belly dancers as entertainment if you go there to eat. Parking is ample if you come early and they also valet at night. The restaurant has 2 stories which is really cool. I'm sure it's a great place to be in the summer. The food was okay. Not too great and not too bad. The octopus was actually very flavorful which was so surprising. Since this is a restaurant/bar, I wouldn't recommend children coming here at all. Even during the day. The atmosphere just isn't suitable to kids. Overall I cant say I had a great experience but it was nice to try out something different. It's just not a place I would go to if I had a choice to go back.

Hard pass. Like all the other comments this is more of a club than a restaurant. Food was ok enough

It's Thursday night and Dallas is shut down due to a snow storm. I'm here on business and this was the ONLY place open. When I called around 6pm to see if they were open, they made sure I knew they were open till 2am haha. It's difficult to pen how amazing this place was. Greek restaurant, but with house Hispanic music playing and a killer dance floor highlighted by the worlds largest disco ball. I sat in the vip section, the only person in the restaurant this night so I selected prime seating. As a stereotypical midwesterner I stuck to comfort food, a lamb gyro for the ages. They didn't skimp on a single topping, fully loaded and filling. Most gyros leave you not quite full, but not this one. I'm giving them 4 stars only because there was no Dj there tonight, I was ready to dance and felt like I had a lot to offer tonight. Until next time, farewell you hidden gem.

I'm always happy to visit. The classic Greek Platter (Spanakopita, pastichio, chicken or lamb souvlaki) $40 had a good portion of a dry, lamb souvlaki and a very small portion of spanakopita and pastichio. The pastichio was delicious. A platter that used to be shareable is barely for one. The vibe is casual but romantic. What you would expected for a restaurant in this neighborhood. The lights are dim so bring a date. The little bar could be fun for drink before heading out for the night and there's a small patio. The service was swift and they offered a Greek wine option based on my tastes. It's was good and I would order a glass again. Maybe for me it's the nostalgia that keeps me coming back but with other Greek options I find my visits fewer and farther between.

We also brought our own cake and they added sparkler candles which were really fun! I think my only disappointment was telling her that we had a vegetarian in the group and she said she'd take care of us, but we didn't get anything different. We were hoping for some falafel or something, but we still all left full and satisfied!

The pink dining room in the back is adorable and Instagram-worthy, and the patio feels like you've been transported to the Mediterranean. Unfortunately, the service and food didn't live up to the setting. We arrived right at 5 PM and had even called ahead to confirm the happy hour menu. When we got there, we were told the menu had changed. Fine, we adjusted and placed our order at 5:30. By 6 PM, only half of it had arrived, and when we asked about the missing items, they wouldn't honor the happy hour pricing even though this was the first thing we ordered when we arrived. The meatballs were what we were most excited to try, but after waiting 40 minutes (with all of our other food already out), they still hadn't arrived. On top of that, our drinks took over 30 minutes and multiple reminders to finally show up. The happy hour deals for drinks were great, drinks were 1/2 off and they do $5 Lalo tequila. Maybe it was just an off day, but between the slow service, missing items, and mixed-up pricing, the experience was pretty disappointing - especially considering how beautiful the space is.

The main dish just wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't because it wasn't well made, it was more of a texture preference for me. The potatoes were a little overcooked for my liking, although a friend at our table said his were great. I did, however, love the gigantes! Our table also shared the Trio of Dips (tirokafteri, hummus, and skordalia), the moussaka, the Brazilian steak, and the Aegean stuffed pepper. The tirokafteri and hummus were both delicious. The skordalia wasn't for me, but that's simply because it's essentially a chilled potato dip, not a reflection of the restaurant. The Brazilian steak was fantastic, great flavor and cooked perfectly. The stuffed pepper and moussaka also got a thumbs-up from our group. I believe our server's name was Uli, and he was good. He took the time to explain several dishes. Greek food probably isn't at the top of my personal favorites list, but this one was ok.
