I had been shopping around for a new kitchen table for some time when I stumbled upon some photos from Corey's Woodcraft. Their furniture was pretty much exactly along the lines of what I had in mind for my kitchen, so I contacted them for estimates and options. They were very responsive and helpful. I found that their prices were very reasonable, and since I had already shopped around some, the price was also less than I would pay for a similar set at a store. (And also most of the ones I looked at in stores were lesser quality and more flimsy). Anyway - I homed in on a set I liked, worked out the details (like coloring, size, amount of chairs and benches etc) and sent a deposit. A few days later, the set was finished. I had the option of picking it up or getting it delivered. The fee for delivery was more than reasonable so I opted for that. I am very happy with my table and benches! The benches and chairs are solid, which was one of my biggest concerns since some of the benches we've tried in the stores frankly didn't seem like they would hold up during a Thanksgiving dinner for instance, where everyone's weight triples at the table ;) ). The table came out really beautiful and extra bonus - the entire house smells like new wood!! :) (Bonus air freshener!). I did read some negative reviews below but my experience with Corey's Woodcraft was excellent, so I definitely do recommend them and will return in the future for any wooden furniture-needs that may pop up :) read more

Fantastic work, but SUPER flaky since business picked up. For some reason, they have completely STOPPED responding when I reached out to buy another desk. (We bought 2 from them already) Glad I didn't pay these people anything up front- bizarre. read more

UPDATE: I have officially been blocked by them on Facebook. They still have my money and my table. One of them reached out via text saying it would be delivered on Sunday. I asked what time, no response to my many days of asking what time. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS "COMPANY". I will be following up with the legal system as I have been scammed. Took my money, brought a table that was not what I asked for, replaced it with the "right" kind, it was defective. Asked them to fix, two months later they picked it up to fix it, now (a month later) won't return it or my attempts to talk to them. They are a scam. Stay away. Buyers be aware!! This company says the tables and chairs are handcrafted. 2 of the chairs they sold me are from IKEA! The bench is uneven, my table is cracked after less than 1 year, the actual handcrafted chair broke from my 2 year old leaning back. When we first bought this table set they only delivered the table, bench and 2 ikea chairs. It took 3 months to get the other 2 chairs we paid for. read more

My husband and I had an amazing experience ordering from Corey's Woodcraft. I messaged on Facebook to inquire about a custom table and they responded within 5 minutes answering all of my questions. I was impressed with the efficiency and overall customer service throughout our ordering experience. The table was delivered right to our home along with all the chairs and the benches. It's exactly what we ordered and looks even better in person! We got the whole set delivered in a couple days, and we haven't been able to get ANY furniture that fast with the current COVID delays. I saw some pictures of Corey's work online and immediately wanted a certain piece! I called and gave them measurements over the phone (since I was in San Diego)... the piece was delivered about two weeks later. It's perfect and made very well. Thank you so much!! Buyers beware of Corey's Woodcraft (https://www.facebook.com/Coreys-woodcraft-2247036082179193/ with the owner being Cameron Corey). I purchased a table set with two benches and two chairs along with a sideboard. Pictures of the items were not the same as I received. Negotiated the price down taking $100 off for each chair and $50 off for the barn doors on the sideboard - $250 off total. As well they knocked the delivery fee off because they only had one guy delivering and I was told they would deliver into my dinning room. He required help and had to use my hand truck. They delivered over 2 hours later than they stated so I had no help. The delivery guy was very pleasant but I kept asking for a number to call the owner at to discuss this issue and he had to keep going into his truck and talking to someone. At the end of the night I was told I would pay the $250 when they bring me the correct chairs and barn doors. He said they would be out in the area the next week and would drop the items off then (he also explained they deliver out this way often). This was 7 weeks ago. I finally got ahold of the owner several weeks ago, and I was then told by him that it would be $75 to deliver, $50 for the barn doors and $125 for each chair because the chairs I wanted weren't in stock yet they were the chairs being advertised in the Marketplace Post and the post never mentioned anything about not having something in stock - just stated that it would be a 2 day turn around if the item isn't in stock. I finally got him to understand that it should be $100 for each chair, but he exclaimed I still need to pay the delivery. I now can't get them to respond at all. They did not provide what I ordered by any means and this is bad business. And I would more than happily drive to pickup the items up, but they need to install the barn doors on the cabinet to ensure they fit correctly before I pay for them. And I can't even get them to respond even if this was an option. Be careful who you buy from and who you do business with. I would love to post an update to this that the owner made this right, so we will see. read more

I have had a HORRIBLE experience with Cory's Woodcraft. I sent in an request and custom order with specific dimensions for a table and entertainment console. They first and foremost changed delivery on me more than 3 times, so the delivery guy called owner who waived my delivery fee of $200 due to that challenge and having to constantly rearrange my schedule. When delivered I shared with the guy that is was damaged and not made to custom specifics. He got Cameron Cory on the phone and he first tried to have the delivery guy come fix them the next day which I explained first off that we were not available, the delivery guy in front of my and my aunt shared that he is not capable of fixing these that he is just a delivery guy and Cameron was adamant that it is taken care of now since he NEEDS to be paid. After carefully explaining that I do not want to accept these items, as is, he promised to personally come out in 2-3 weeks as his inlaws are in San Diego and he will personally make it right. My husband and I BOTH explained over the phone that the dimensions are also incorrect, so there is a lot to be done. After sharing TONS of photos, having several messages through IM on Facebook, he agreed that they will completely remake the console as it doesnt follow what we discussed AT ALL, sizing, tracks on barn doors, feet vs. no feet, etc. Sharp and rouch edges, broken and split wood, paint messed up, not level, the table top is smaller than what we order by 2 inches around and the list goes on. Because he was kind, and said that he would personally come and take care of it and shared the "small business owner saga" my husband agreed to pay him. Before I would Venmo the money I asked him to recreate our invoice to not include the console as that would be a new order when he returned and he asked for payment. I shared that once he replied in writing that he would be back personally in 2-3 weeks to fix/repair to custom order I would pay him and did. This was Jan 19th 2021. Since I have not heard from him. I have messaged too many times. I have texted, called, as has my husband and have tried from another line. I called his delivery guy today who shared as of two weeks he stopped working there. He apologized as he recalls that this was supposed to be taken care of and he had no idea. He said he would try to contact him and let him know that I am trying to contact him. I have sent another message asking for a full refund or partial and I will fix it on my own. Now he is trying to make it look like I did him wrong, that he gave me a free console (that I do not want) and says he has me recorded saying things that never was said. I asked him to please share that as that is 100% untrue and he will not. He tells me again he will work on coming to CA to his inlaws and will pick it up. I asked for my refund as I have been waiting for 3 months "storing" your furniture and all I wanted was the table and chairs to be repaired. He is making it sound like I a holding his items hostage and even said he doesn't want me to damage these items. I have been extremely fair and he is so rude and a liar and will not call me back. I threatened law actions and he replied g ahead it will get you no where. I have TONS and TONS of messages and photos. BE AWARE!!!! read more

I could not be more upset and disappointed with my experience with this "company." Never ever have I left a negative review. I like to think I'm a pretty understanding and compassionate person who gives people the benefit of the doubt, but in this case, I really felt like I needed to warn others before getting duped by these people. You would not want to read the whole account of my interactions with them, but suffice it to say they kept pushing me off, making empty promises, and completely ghosting me. When I tried to contact them through different means other than our ongoing thread, they'd answer immediately, but as soon as I explained my situation, they'd stop talking to me. They never answered or returned my phone calls either, and long story short...I still don't have a table. My recommendation to you is to find another company so you don't have to go through what I did. How they have ANY positive reviews or business is beyond me. I understand being busy or needing more time, but the lack of communication is completely unacceptable. I cannot waste any more time on trying to get my table from them, so it's back to the drawing board I guess. read more

It's not in my nature to leave bad reviews and I always try to work things out with the business; however, if the business strings me along after many attempts to work with them and then ultimately ghosts me as Corey's Woodcraft did, I feel that I have no other choice. I am in CA and ordered a table and chairs for a delivery that they had previously scheduled in my state. Up until the point of delivery, the communication was great- immediate responses - and quick turnaround. On the weekend of the delivery, there were several last-minute date and time changes but I was accommodating, especially since I was looking forward to my furniture. When they finally arrived, there was some damage to the chairs as shown in the picture (likely from not protecting them properly during transport), but Eric, the delivery guy, assured me that he was coming back the following day after 4pm to repair the chairs on site. He said he had another customer with similar issues in my area so he would be fixing both the next day. Again, I was accommodating. I asked him if I could pay the next day and he said he rather I pay now and he looked me in the eye and said "ma'am, I promise I'll be back tomorrow." Up until that point, I didn't have any issues with the company and trusted them...I ended up paying against my better judgment. So the next day comes and goes without Eric showing up and zero communication until late that night when I receive this - "May I give you a call in the morning ? It's Corey I'm driving home from my Kansas shop to make it to my baby shower in the morning . I have a solution." Sure, I said, but the next day he doesn't call and sends me a message later in the day that he got too busy with his baby shower. He strung me along all week and then I get this message on 1/22: "Yes I do apologize I have gotten back to you . I'm planning a trip to where I can personally fly up there and take care of these items myself looking at two weeks." And that was the last communication, despite me reaching out multiple times since then. It's now been over 3 weeks since his message and 1 month since delivery. The disappointing part to me was not the damage to the furniture because I understand that things can happen, but it was the company's response to the issue- the poor communication, broken promises, lies, ghosting...this is no way to run a business. It would have been an easy fix - have someone come out to repair or refund a portion of $ for me to fix on my own. Unfortunately, I recommend staying far away from this business and learn from me and others who have posted similar stories. read more

Latest update on my previous review....for several weeks after I posted my original review, the owner continued to make promises to fix it, and repeated again....insisted I drop off the table to him at his shop, 45 minutes away from me. I told him again if I did that, I'd need a full refund and I'd pay him when I got the table back from him. He still said "that won't work for me." He then, after repeating to me that he's an "honest man," agreed to bring me a new table top to my house "in a few weeks" but only if I remove these reviews. I told him I would update my reviews to show that he made it right if he did that. Guess what? He ghosted me and I never heard from him again, after more attempts over the next 30 days. I have all of the texts and his promises in writing. Additionally, the table has warped further and is basically useless as a dining room table. Also, the bench that he made with that table has warped. Nothing about this entire fiasco shows that he has once ounce of honesty in him. Still a crook. read more

VERY poor quality and the worst customer service you can ever experience. See the attached photos for the product I received. I was charged $950.00 for paint that was wrong, corrected wrong, and then peeling. His version of light distressing was a joke. He also broke the back of one of the chairs and painted over it. I gave him 4 weeks to correct his errors and make things right or refund my money. He (Cameron Corey) refused. He was very nice in person but then the experience of dealing with him after was a joke. We found Corey's Woodcraft through a dining table listing he had on Facebook Marketplace. We saw he had positive reviews there so we placed a custom order with him on 12/28/2022 for $800. He immediately became shady, flakey, and uncommunicative. It took him a day and another message from us to confirm he even received the payment and it went downhill from there. I immediately researched everything I could find on him, including an old phone number for him. When I called, a poor harassed man who had just gotten the phone number explained that it wasn't Cameron's number anymore and people call him yelling all the time about him stealing their money and where's their tables?! More digging led me here to other complaints and the same on his yelp page. We are currently working with our bank and venmo to get our money back but the worst part is I can see him taking more payments for tables this whole time while he misses delivery dates and ignores our messages. What a shame that he's screwing over members of his own community who are trying to support local craftsmen and business. read more

I have to say this is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a family owned business! Cameron of Corey's Woodcraft is the most unprofessional, rude individual I have interacted with. He came recommended from a family friend,(who all bought wood items and had to send them back due to the poor quality) we talked at lengths about a round table. I ordered a specific size, it came smaller, ok I can deal with that. With in a few weeks the nail heads were coming through the table top, the table was pulling apart at the seams (appears to have been put together when it hadn't dried completely). I tried to contact him numerous times to get the table fixed. Finally after almost 2.5 months he tells me he has a new table top for me, which I did not want I just wanted our top fixed. He flaked several times on delivery dates, not showing, no communications and making up excuses, I felt like he was ghosting us. Finally He had one of his workers deliver the new table top... with in 1 week of the new table top being placed the table pulled apart at the seams and we noticed there were rub marks all over the table from the straps they used to tie down the table for delivery and the boards don't line up! (we were not home when they delivered we were on vacation when it got delivered, so no one was at the house for that week ) Cameron tried to tell me that the rub marks were the grain of the wood and that I must have put something heavy on the table to make it split at the seams! I asked for this table to be taken back and either my money back or my original table top to be fixed, Cameron told me via text that him bringing me the new table top was a waste of his time, offered to give me back the original table top but told me I had to come get it, which I was fine with! I responded that we would come pick up the old table top once it was fixed! I have sent numerous messages but he is now ghosting us, most likely blocked me. I would give negative stars for this piss poor workmanship, customer service is horrid! I honestly hate even giving this kind of a review. I considered giving one star but I'm giving two bc I do, over all, love my table, bench and chairs. They were very responsive when it came to scheduling and getting the table done. The problem is that the stain on my table is not good. Anything my kids eat, and drop onto the table stains and shows up and cannot be cleaned off. So there are lots of spots all over the table from where they drop their food/ drinks. I reached out to the owner the first day I noticed this which was the same week as it was delivered. He promptly told me that he had never seen this and he would replace the table top. Since then (almost 2 months), he keeps making empty promises of when he will take care of this and then will not get back with me for weeks at a time. I even offered to sand and stain the table myself, mostly because the staining drives me crazy. All he needs to do is tell me the color of the stain, and he will not respond. I have tried calling as well. I know where the shop is and have considered driving there but I do not want an altercation with anyone. I just want my table fixed. Again, I hate leaving this, because I do like the style of the table but after reading other similar reviews, I felt compelled to leave this one. It is not professional to make promises to people and not follow through. If you can't do something, just say so. Don't say you will and then just ghost people. read more

I ordered 3 pieces from Corey's Woodcraft and had a good experience. When I tried to order an entertainment center and a bookshelf, they promised to send me an invoice, provide a delivery date, etc for about 3 weeks with no results. They finally said Cameron Corey would come to my house to measure for the quote and he agreed to come and never showed up. They completely ghosted me after this, similar to what the previous reviewer described. It has been the most bizarre experience. I'm giving 3 stars because the product was good, but good luck getting them to answer your emails or show up when they say they will. That part was extremely frustrating and in the end the went to one of their competitors who provides amazing service and got right back to me to fulfill my order with really quality workmanship. If what you need is on a tight timeline or you like it when people do what they say they're going to do and you like companies who willingly sell you their product and value your business, I'd go somewhere else. read more
