The instructor for our class was great! The intro class is again, very similar to the Club Pilates intro class where they basically just show you the basics of the reformer, although I will say this class was longer than the one at Club Pilates and felt closer an actual class. There is a pretty big (but busy) parking lot since it's in the same strip mall as Apna Bazar and Felipe's Market. I don't live close enough to this studio to justify signing up for a membership, but it seems nice if you're looking for a Club-Pilates style studio.

They are accommodating, engaging, and knowledgable. My favorite instructor is Alejandra. I really feel like finishing a good workout after her class. She is attentive to students by correcting their forms. She is such a great teacher, making us use every part of muscles and challenging yet encouraging us. I think that is why her class gets full so fast. I was taking the pilates class here everyday during the summer when I was pregnant a couple years ago. I live about 30 mins away, but I'm in Los Gatos often so it's convenient to have a studio nearby that I love. I've been over 5 times so far (whenever I'm in town), and every instructor I've had is equally amazing. The studio is pretty cold when you walk in, but within 5 minutes you're warmed up and it becomes the perfect temperature for a workout. The music is great and this studio is a vibe. The front desk is the sweetest, and the instructors are mostly great. I've had one who needed to be smoother with changes and cues, but all were knowledgable. This will not be traditional Pilates, but with a traditional reformer, which is much better than a megaformer. Heavier weights so you will feel the burn. Slow counts and movements. Lots in hands and knees. I think I miss the footwork the most from a traditional studio, but I'll go to those classes elsewhere. They have childcare, lockers, hair ties if needed. The studio is clean, often using props such as weights or a ball. Will def be going consistently to feel a burn.

I walked in for a pilates mat class and walked out with a free one-OH YAH! I arrived a bit early to check out the digs. Bridget was kind enough to give me a tour and inspire me to work hard! Nice industrial space that caters to working off some steam! On the left is the studio for group classes, and on the right is the equipment/reformer room. They must have had like 8 or so machines. It was cool and I assume great for personal training. After my "tour," Bridget set up me up right in front. "Up here" I asked? She smiled, handed me the equipment I needed and wished me good luck. I remember lying nervously awaiting the arrival of the instructor. What was I going to have to do...AND in front of the class...? Wowza! Enter Jocelyn S., whose simple stature and being was very deceiving. She was strong, flexible, and very easy to listen to. I liked the sound of her voice, and she made me feel very comfortable and strong all at the same time. Thanks to Mercy B...I was ready for this class. I loved it, and can see how I will be challenged. Definitely a good core workout and I can't wait to explore options. It's convenient, parking is easy, studio is clean, and staff is great.
