Been to CPYs all over the country and this one is just as good as the rest. While a little small and the locker situation is a little strange the instructors at this location are always great. Just took a sculpt class with Rebecca and her music and flow was on point. Class are a tad expensive and can be challenging so I recommend you research online to find the right class for you. The parking situation is tough at this location so get there early to get a spot in the lot.

The people are nice but the place really smells. Really bad! Hits you when you walk in the front door.

First off, I absolutely LOVE yoga here and LOVE the staff. While the studio itself promotes a calm…read moreand welcoming atmosphere, my experience is constantly impacted by interactions with a staff member, Amy. Yoga spaces are typically rooted in kindness, mindfulness, and approachability, so it is disappointing to encounter communication or the lack of, that feels unwelcoming. This is not a once in a while experience, this happens every time I visit the studio. Sometimes I wish I didn't have to interact with her before entering my class as my vibe is completely shifted. She's short, she seems extremely irritated, she seems as though she would like to be anywhere but there, she does not smile, when you ask questions she makes you feel stupid, and when someone says thank you or have a good day she flat out ignores you. I hope this feedback is taken as an opportunity to better align staff interactions with the values the studio represents, especially someone sitting at the front desk. If this is the behavior the studio knowingly allows, I may have to cancel my 3 year long membership.

Great yoga school. Though I will admit, I decided not to complete the program. I signed up for the…read morefirst module as a way to integrate the physical and metaphysical experience over the past several years. I came in knowing nothing of yoga at all (in the physical practice of it). I did feel a little as if it was about the whole program rather than acknowledging some of us really are there to deepen our own practices. I believe it was the first class that we were writing letters for when we completed the program... this had me feel it was necessary to enroll in more than I had intended. The instructor was great, the classmates were great, but... I certainly felt it wasn't for basic entry level yoga, beginners. However, maybe it was just me? I decided to pull out while I was still able and deepen my own practice on my own. As for yoga classes, in 1 hr intervals? I have to admit, I have no experience beyond attending the program itself, since it is a yoga school.

Post Yogabox Update:…read more Calves? Too sore to function. Legs? Don't exist. Glutes? BBL. Lower back? Gone. 10/10 will go again Thank you, Instructor Morgan!

I think this place was maybe 3 stars for me but I bumped it up to 4 as the instructor I had today…read morewas excellent. I like a nice sweaty hot vinyasa to get me out of my head and came for a class today and really enjoyed it. This studio is in Arcadia where a lot of things are but the studio itself is one room, a changing room outside the studio and a bathroom tucked in the back. Lockers available to store your items. No shower available. Yoga Box offers 3 free classes so I decided to take them up on the deal. I've been practicing yoga for about 25 years and have often tried different studios in this way. The first class was so so, but the teacher was nice and even gave me a new student welcome gift. She was a bit too eager to talk to me and I just wanted to practice and flow. The other issue was that I couldn't understand the instructions clearly as our teacher had an accent where I couldn't quite make out the instructions. But, she had a very nice playlist. What makes this place a bit annoying is that once they get your phone number, they have someone by the name of Emma that won't stop bugging you about signing up for a monthly membership. I don't mind actually buying some classes here and occasionally taking a class here and there but I was firm about not wanting a monthly membership (i already belong to 2 gyms) and this person couldn't take a hint, so that was a turn off. The thing that saves this place is I took a very good class with Debbie today. She gave excellent instruction, got us all sweaty and loved her Hawaii playlist. Ukulele is the way to my heart. Overall, it was an ok studio, give a try as they do give you 3 free classes and decide for yourself if you want to keep coming here.
