I visited this studio while in town for ASU Family Weekend. Our 9 am HPF was completely full of over 25+ people. It was a mixture of moms, students, and experienced yogis, but Kaitlyn lead the class with perfect timing, grace and a bit of fun. read more

I love core power yoga. Warm/hot yoga has been life changing for me. The staff over at core power is always warm and welcoming. They are personable from the time you walk in the door and to the moment you step out. The customer service is unbeatable. The selection of classes and times really work well with my schedule. I went to one class at this location with a friend of mine. Compared to the Chandler location the den on the second floor is substantially smaller but it feels better. Like there is more good vibes here. Locker rooms are large and have showers and the instructors are great people. Parking is limited to get here early. read more

Been to CPYs all over the country and this one is just as good as the rest. While a little small and the locker situation is a little strange the instructors at this location are always great. Just took a sculpt class with Rebecca and her music and flow was on point. Class are a tad expensive and can be challenging so I recommend you research online to find the right class for you. The parking situation is tough at this location so get there early to get a spot in the lot. read more

This studio is awesome. Mikala is a phenomenal manager, and does a great job at making personal connections, teaching, and also at running an efficient studio. Classes are diverse and offered often. They start at 6am and end around 8pm depending on the day. All of the teachers I have had have been awesome. Lockers are available for free, and towels and mats can be rented. Clothes and water is available for purchase, so if you ever have forgotten anything, you can snag anything from this place to allow you to be able to take class. Classes are 60-75 minutes, and at the end of your sweaty class, they reward you with a cold, wet, lemon-lavender towel. What more could you ask for?!? read more

Wow. You cannot get this welcoming and calming experience from golds gym or EOS, although I love both respectively. I came here for a change of pace and a small break from my regular fitness routine. I took my two sisters and we started 1 FREE WEEK trial. Best decision I could've made for myself. Each class is about one hour, from beginner to intermediate, and takes you on a journey to self realization. Perhaps that's a little dramatic but wow did I need this. I fell in love with CorePower back when I lived next door to the La Jolla studio and went religiously with my undergrad roommates, but hadn't been in a few years. I moved to AZ last year and after my year-long barre membership ended (which was a decent workout but not really detoxifying and invigorating like CorePower is), I decided to give the CorePower studios here in the Valeey a shot. Thank goodness I did--these hot yoga classes have really proven to be my favorite workout of all time. OF ALL TIME! There are so many different classes which is nice depending on how sore you are from the day before and to accommodate any preferences you have in general. Sculpt is my favorite hardcore workout (it's heated yoga with upbeat music, free weights, and cardio bursts). I also love hot power fusion, since it is essentially a fun version of Bikram yoga (the set 26 poses, only with fun music and only a perfect 60 minutes, rather than traditional 90-minute classes). C2 is my other favorite since the flows are always great and you get to practice fun inversions (those impressive yoga moves you see on yoga instagram accounts). I haven't tried any of the other classes, but those three keep me super happy. This studio seems to have the best class selection (for mornings and midday which I prefer) of the three Phoenix studios, but parking is seriously risky business. There are only a handful of spots in their private lot, and basically no places to street park. You can risk it across the street in the Subway lot, but apparently, people have gotten towed. You can park on Maple street too, but it's still not allowed so you risk getting a $44 sign violation ticket (which I've gotten)...You can park across at ASU too, but it's kind of a hike... Sometimes if there is no parking, I just turn around and leave super bummed. read more

Absolutely love CorePower. It's not perfect, but overall the AZ studios and people are very nice, knowledgeable, and fun! - Pretty good body positivity. Often there are different body shapes and sizes. There also have been 1+ guys in all classes I've been in (C1, C2, CR, and YS) at 3 locations (Mill, Old Town, Chandler). There seems like a moderate range of ages but there's definitely a lack of racial diversity. - It is expensive, no way around it. There are discounted rates for students and seniors, but the student one is still expensive. But if you go to 3 or more classes per week, economically it is more reasonable. If you are new to yoga I would start with their Free C1 classes on the weekend (currently at Old Town and Chandler). - The classes are great. No matter the class type, I am brought to my physical edge. CR brings flexibility to a good spot in a relaxing way. With free weights and cardio, YS challenges your mind and whole body in a high intensity way. C2 is a great balance of flexibility and self-supported strength. Most C2 classes are heated which adds another level of depth to your physical and mental practice. C1 is a great class to (learn and) refine poses and deepen your practice and strength. All the classes push to the mental edge too. Values and self-beliefs about strength, determination, self-worth, focus, resiliency, and acceptance are regular parts of my practice. Not every class does my mind and body do the same things, but it always ends with pride and gratitude. - The yoga instructors themselves are fantastic! They know what they're doing in the classroom, are happy to answer any questions before/after class, are focused and engaged while still being fun, and are all very kind. - The studios have clean lobbies and locker rooms. Instructors wipe down classrooms after every class. Some studios provide wipes to clean your mat, blocks, weights, etc after class. - Lastly, the classes are not spiritual if you are wondering about that. Instructors talk about intentions/food-for-thought things and at most some will talk about chakras, but every class I've been to over years is more body and mind focused than spiritual. I was at this studio from 2019-the beginning of 2020. I was actually fairly involved. I decided to try a different studio over the past year for a few reasons. However, two weeks ago, I came to class at Core Power Tempe on a whim. I missed the old stomping grounds. I must say, the studio is even better than it was when I was involved "back then". I was able to meet the manager my first day back right when I walked in. Brooke was/is friendly and welcoming and it felt great as I was nervous to come back after so long away. The instructors all seem to be much...happier (I think that is too generic but you get the point). The studio just FEELS calming and clean and organized. I've been back at least 3 times each week, and while the parking situation is still rough (hoping for more staggered class times in the near future to allow students to leave and make space for the next class), I have no problem showing up way too early for class to find a space for my big truck. I am happy, and grateful, to be back in this "new" and improved space. read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I went to two online classes for this studio during their 14 day free trial. The classes were not great and I logged off before the class ended. I therefore follow up to cancel my registration and move on with my life... Well not too long after my mother started to battle with cancer again and lets just say I wasn't combing through my bank account at that time since I had other things to focus on. Fast forward 6 months later when life started to get less stressful and I start looking into my bank account. Corepower yoga has been charging me over $100 a month without any email related to a bill!. Remember I called and canceled my membership- well apparently that doesn't work and no one told me and they kept charging me. At this time they have charged me $1,181 and change without so much of a bill. Not to mention I have never attended a class since the day I called to cancel. I have now called and emailed them to cancel. The lady on the phone at their headquarters in CO seemed nice but I received followed up with an email from the Tempe, AZ branch telling me pretty much to go pound sand and to have a nice day because they have a policy ... DON'T GO THERE it is a complet waste of money ( there are far better yoga studios around) and they are a complet rip off. They way I was treated is not how I have ever been treated in the yoga community. I am so truly disappoint and will never attend a Corepower yoga class again . read more

I was visiting Phoenix and while in town took a class at this Corepower Yoga location! It was my favorite class yet (& I've taken a lot) with the instructor and manager Mikala! I loved the intention she set, her sequence, and the way she guided it! On top of that, the music was great. The studio was also clean, everyone was incredibly friendly, and the overall energy was positive and fun. Best Corepower Studio & best instructor!! Mikayla is the worst ,what a joke of a instructor she told me I was too fat to attend and could I please leave ,I left in tears to say the least I asked why she would say such an awful thing she said because fat people don't have feelings please leave. I think it goes without saying I cancelled my membership last month and after several attempts to contact the owner i give up I can't even get a refund now I know what people think of me I won't be back this is why I went so I was less fat and unattractive and now I'm just ,idk ,so sad read more

I love this studio - I feel like everyone is so positive and in a good mood! I could be having a bad day, and the second I walk into the studio, everything changes. No matter what I take, sculpt, HPF, C2 ... My day is always better when I'm finished taking a class. More recently, the new manager Mikala is always so welcoming when I walk in and is also one of my favorite instructors now. Her music and classes are always fire, I feel like I've gotten so much better at my practice just by taking her classes. I couldn't recommend this studio enough and everyone who works at it. Plus they have two weeks unlimited yoga for $9 and give you a yoga mat, I don't know what gets better than that! read more

I've taken a few yoga classes over the years at various gyms but have never been a committed, regular yogi, nor tried a yoga specific studio - so this is coming from a real newbie who was nervous to jump in. I loved my first class, and each one after, so much that I've attended a class every day since joining a week ago. Every single instructor I have encountered has been so positive and encouraging. I've never felt out of place or as if I was being judged. I feel so great after every class I've taken! I absolutely love (and get my butt kicked ha ha) in the sculpt classes. Sculpt is such a great cardio addition for me! My activity tracker estimated I burned 550 calories in one sculpt session! Yay! I should also say the studio is always spotless and smells fresh! read more

I love going to CorePower and started about 2 weeks ago and have gone almost everyday. I'm sorry to say that I will be attending the one in Old Town more often with the experience I had at the Tempe location. I was checking in and the instructor Rachel J was very rude. She provided awful customer service and had a very condescending attitude so I just left because I did not want to attend her sculpt class. I have been to just one other sculpt class at Tempe and I loved it! read more

Absolutely love this place! It's always a friendly environment and with my membership I can easily take classes at any of the many different locations in Arizona. I've taken classes at 5 different locations so far, and they have all been incredible. I love the CoreRestore classes and the Sculpt classes best. One for relaxing and healing and the other for getting a great full body workout. read more

Love going to this location but my recent experience was less than subpar. I arrived 2 minutes late due to traffic from a parade on mill and the lady at front, I believe her name is hannah, wouldnt let me walk in 2 minutes late. I understand this can be distributive but it was 2 minutes. read more

CorePower is my favorite place to practice some yoga. You get 1 week free to start and they have some reasonably priced member packages if you decide to join. This studio is amazing because they offer a free community class every Saturday at 4:30pm. I've been going now almost every Saturday for a few months and it's been the best part of my weekend. Parking is very limited but on the weekends you can park on the streets. Kenny usually teaches this class and he is simply an amazing yoga teacher! Not only do you get a full body workout but his class makes you feel so good about yourself both physically and mentally. He brings such fun energy and motivates you throughout the class. The class is an hour long and again free every Saturday! I bring my friends and family occasionally. They are all hooked to yoga now. The studio is located very close to Mill Avenue and University drive so walking distance to tons of shops and restaurants. A must try! read more

She was extremely friendly and had a great energy! I was pleasantly surprised to find she would be teaching the 9:00 class I was taking. Great instructors, clean studios/locker rooms, good music and consistently good experience every time I come. Definitely try this new corepower location! It's nice that there are different class types so you can mix it up. Friendly for both beginner and advanced yogis. If you get the black tag membership, it's a great deal for the high quality experience you are getting. My only complaint is that if you pay for a monthly membership, you should get a complimentary mat/towel rental. Sometimes you forget your mat, and it really makes me roll my eyes that they charge me $2 to rent one when I pay $89 a month for unlimited yoga. read more

Dissatisfied With the "manager" Mikayla at CorePower Tempe as she is very rude especially for being a YOGA INSTRUCTOR. I would never recommend her as an instructor. She was very rude. And I personally felt attacked considering how unprofessional she was. And yelled at me in the phone and in person. I Regardless think is was creepy that she took my information down and used her personal cell phone number to have to say how she felt with rage and anger. As a paying customer I am more than happy to spend on a black membership for $100 a month somewhere else very easily. I have no problem with that. I hope Mikayla felt satisfied to make me feel unwated because her bitter anger got the best of her. I am more than okay as a paying customer to take money elsewhere. Where I feel more WANTED and I hope to get a much more positive atmosphere . I would have respected you if I had a received a different approach. But I am okay with the way you handled it because it shows how Proffessional Take care of things. read more
