Spring 2025 yoga events throughout the Valley - A poster displays information about The Foundry's spring outdoor yoga series, including a photo of a group practicing yoga outdoors with a tent in the background. The poster lists scheduled classes from February to May, with dates, times, instructors, and locations at Scottsdale Fashion Square Rooftop and other outdoor areas. It also mentions raffle tickets, giveaways, and registration details for outdoor yoga classes.

I've been a yoga junkie for over 2 decades and really enjoy a nice sweaty, stretchy class whenever I get the chance to practice. I'm also a cheapskate and was able to score a free week here as it was a social media special. I'm always a sucker for free yoga classes! I came tonight and took a hot flow class and it was a very solid class. In fact, most of the classes I have taken at the Foundry across the Valley have all been solid and very good. I'm surprised I haven't joined yet but I already have 3 other wellness/ fitness memberships so I gotta slow my roll here. There's only so many days in a week to practise yoga haha! I really enjoyed tonight's class, it wasn't too hot but I definitely was soaked in sweat! All the sequences were great and the flow was very good, just loved how solid the class was! Locker room is nice, ample self locking lockers, showers available, tampons and hair ties all available. There is also a draft water machine that pours out cold water. And tonight, I forgot a plastic bag to pace my drenched yoga apparel and they have a plastic bag stash for people like me! I'll definitely be back here again! Love that there are quite a few locations throughout the Valley too! One of the best in the Valley! Come here to detox, get a good sweat on, your body will love you fot it!

Yoga room - The image shows a yoga class inside a studio with large windows allowing natural light, string lights hanging from the ceiling, and a wooden floor. Several participants are on yoga mats, some in kneeling or seated positions, with a person at the front assisting a participant. The studio has a modern, open design with a colorful geometric wall in the background.

My friend had some extra passes so I got to tag along to a hot yoga class! The studio is very clean and organized and I got checked in right away. The studio was packed, it seemed almost completely full so I was glad I signed up a few days prior. I don't know how often they fill up. I really enjoyed the flow and the instructor utilized the entire hour. I was ready for shavasana at the end haha. It definitely is HOT though, I think the temperature was around 102 which is a bit hotter than my preference, but I don't normally go to hot yoga.

Clothing items such as shirts, pants, and leggings are arranged on wooden hangers on metal racks. Yoga mats in various colors are stacked in a basket on the floor, and hats and small accessories are placed on a shelf. The store appears to sell activewear and yoga-related products, with a neutral wall background and organized display.

First time trying a class here and it was amazing. Nice receptionists, everything was very clean and organized. Loved how bright the room is with all the mirrors. Our instructor was wonderful and the people taking the class were of all levels of experience and welcoming. The class was a good hot yoga, definitely got our sweat on. Everything started and ended it on time. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there's no music. Not sure if that's their vibe there, if that was the instructor's choice, or if it wasn't working but I'm going to another class tomorrow so I'll see.

We were welcomed promptly by the front desk staff to check in. My friend received several phone calls leading up to the class to ensure she came prepared with grip socks. I however did not receive a call so was not prepared. I ended up having to buy a pair at the studio (no biggie-- I have a cute pair of socks now). I found it a little odd that socks were even needed as the studio was carpeted. I have not done many barre classes so I'm not sure if this is standard. There were several classes offered that morning, my friend and I took the 9am. There was not any sort of introduction by the instructor or overview of what the class would entail, we just jumped right into the class. It's one thing if it's a regular class, but when you're hosting an open house and looking to attract new members I would have appreciated a little bit more of an overview and a chance to connect with the instructor/studio. The music good and I definitely left feeling like I got a good workout (especially my core!) The owner was very positive and welcoming and even gifted the attendees with little mementos from their travels-- which I appreciated and thought was a nice touch :)

I signed up for an afternoon classic barre class and filled out my waiver online before class started. When I got here I was warmly greeted and check in was no problem. I was given a tour of the space. The check in and front area has merchandise for sale, and the studio is spacious and well kept. There are cubbies next to the studio to stash your belongings. For the classic class all your equipment is provided which for our class were 2 lb weights, a ball, looped elastic bands, and a mat. You do need to provide your own grippy socks and they sell their own brand at the studio. I got some at Target for around $5 which were good enough for this class. The class was a good pace, and the instructor was very friendly, welcoming, and engaging. She asked prior to class if I had any injuries, past or present to be aware of. I appreciated her encouraging attitude and she was great at providing instruction on how to do all the moves and letting me know how to do an exercise correctly. The classic barre is a good overall workout and my abs, triceps, and lower body muscles were sore the day after. Some of the crunches/ab exercises were hard on my neck and I had some neck pain afterwards but in hindsight that is usually what happens with me and crunches and I'm sure the instructor would have offered a modifier had I mentioned it. The studio itself was very clean and well ventilated. I appreciated that it was cool enough during class that I wouldn't overheat. Overall it was a great experience and I'd go again to try another class.

Apparently Rasheeda saw my friend watching other attendees (for direction), thought who knows what and decided to call her out in the class. HOW ARE NEW PEOPLE SUPPOSED TO KNOW THE MOVES IF THE INSTRUCTOR DOES NOT DEMONSTRATE THEM? SO RUDE AND RIDICULOUS! Not sure why someone would want to come here and pay money to get belittled by such a troll. Better off spending your money at an establishment that encourages people to want to have fun and get in shape!

I am a huge Pure Barre Junkie and wanted to check lot this location. As with all Pure Barre locations Pure Barre is a collection of 45-50 minute total body workouts. At the core of their technique they use a thoughtful series of low impact, isometric movements that are designed to produce results. You'll use the ballet Barre and other light equipment as you move through class, focusing on different areas of your body. Your muscles will shake. You'll get stronger with each class. And ultimately, you'll rise above who you were yesterday. This location is so cute. While the workout area is smaller it doesn't take away from the workout. Everything is clean and organized. All of the instructors know their stuff and work to make sure you're in the correct form. While many people Pure Barre is too hard I would say give it a try. You can always modify the actual exercise. Pure Barre wants you to succeed! You'll be guided through a series low-impact, high intensity movements that are designed to strengthen and tone your body in ways that no other technique can. They will give you the best of barre - long and lean muscle tone without the bulk.

I rejoined last month, May 2025. I had my first class back, Align, at a different time of day from what I would normally attend. Staff was still great & they greeted me by name when I walked into the studio. The, I don't want to use names, manager is the one that got me to sign back up. She called since they were running a special, and she wanted to see if I might want to re-join. She apologized for the experiences that ultimately made me quit. We discussed the discount options, and what kind of schedule I thought I could have if I joined back up again. I let her know that the four pack class option is best for me, as I work two jobs and do strength training elsewhere. The class was pretty full when I arrived, but I walked in and grabbed a spot in the middle of the room. My favorite spot is the back bar, it is the first location I took a class at back when I became a member and it is the spot I prefer. Class was great, although I let them know Align was a little tougher than I remembered back in March 2025. I checked in on Yelp after class, or before, and I saw some awful reviews. They are what led me to update my review. The owner is great and has been able to expand locations. She really worked with me in the past, like when I originally enrolled and was going to quit due to cost and class times. When I quit back in March they asked why, they tried to get me to come back, they offered different class options. While I was quitting, I kept thinking they were just contacting me so they would not lose a member/money. I realized they actually wanted feedback, to know why I did not feel comfortable in class and what happened to make me want to quit. I should add, when I quit there was a lot going on- someone had driven through the front entrance, so we had to enter through the back of class. I like routine and that threw everything off. Honestly, I should have paused my membership and then just restarted once everything was back to status quo. Back to why I quit- I had placed my water bottle at my spot at the bar- someone completely disregarded my spot and took it over. I felt slighted, things were already off and that was the last straw. As you can see, it was not because of staff, it was because I am particular and routine oriented. Give this place a try. If I remember correctly, the owner of this location has three other locations. That allows you to take classes at any of them, rather than just this one.
