I also really appreciate that they won't cancel a class because of low enrollment. I previously took classes at a different studio and if enough other people canceled I would get a text message a few hours before class saying no class that day. That DOESN'T happen here and it's wonderful. On the subject of scheduling, you can sign up online or using their app- both are super convenient. We were welcomed promptly by the front desk staff to check in. My friend received several phone calls leading up to the class to ensure she came prepared with grip socks. I however did not receive a call so was not prepared. I ended up having to buy a pair at the studio (no biggie-- I have a cute pair of socks now). I found it a little odd that socks were even needed as the studio was carpeted. I have not done many barre classes so I'm not sure if this is standard. There were several classes offered that morning, my friend and I took the 9am. There was not any sort of introduction by the instructor or overview of what the class would entail, we just jumped right into the class. It's one thing if it's a regular class, but when you're hosting an open house and looking to attract new members I would have appreciated a little bit more of an overview and a chance to connect with the instructor/studio. The music good and I definitely left feeling like I got a good workout (especially my core!) The owner was very positive and welcoming and even gifted the attendees with little mementos from their travels-- which I appreciated and thought was a nice touch :)

Nina introduced herself as the owner and with a contagious smile told me to come check out her place for a two week trial. I went. I sweated and I even cried. I was hooked. The 60 minutes you will spend challenging your body in so many ways. I thought I was strong after going to another local gym for over three years and there are muscles I am finding that I did not ever use before. It is a entire body workout. Time is spent to stretch during the workout which is so important and often forgotten. One of my favorite parts is at the end during the cool down. It is solely focused on you. Your time and only you. Something that so many of us don't do for ourselves. The team motivates you and encourages you to take these 60 minutes and make it all about you. Go. Do it for you. I initially started with a trial during the last week of April, and in May I told Nina that I wanted to cancel. I was told I needed to provide 15 days' notice, which I did. When I was charged again in June, I reached out and was then told the cancellation process could take 45 days and that I might be charged again. I was subsequently charged again in July. When I questioned the additional charge, I was told that sometimes the system does that. Nina told me a refund would be issued for one of the additional months, but as of now, I still have not received that refund. On top of the billing issues, during the time I was attending, I experienced approximately 13 class cancellations. At $209 per month, I expected much more consistency and professionalism from the service. I understand that businesses have cancellation policies and occasional scheduling issues, but my frustration comes from being given different information about the cancellation timeline, continuing to be charged after requesting cancellation, and still waiting months for a refund I was told had been issued. I hope this gets resolved, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business.

I ended up taking Jason's hot vinyasa classes both times, one of which was a 75 minute class. Jason is very helpful when it comes to hitting the poses correctly and with good form. He is also very motivating and pushes you to try your absolute best! I felt great after both classes and highly recommend trying them out! This place gets 4 stars and one star deducted because I had some trouble with the hot vinyasa class today. Read on and I'll explain. Jason, the owner, is really nice and I thought he truly embodies yoga philosophy. He definitely provided a lot of great lessons in his class today, so I really appreciated that. My challenge is that he went thru a few difficult sequences with us and then gave us free time to flow. I, for some reason, just blanked on the sequence as I realize I do need some simple cues to move me thru the entire sequence. It was fine, and I just flowed in the way my body wished, but I guess, I was looking for a little more instruction. Now, I know what to expect, so I'll be better able to freestyle next time. I didnt entirely love all the music choices, but it worked for a pretty intense, sweaty class! This is a gorgeous studio and I loved the design as everything was in darker hues so during savasana, the room almost was completely dark. They have a few bathrooms, so that's nice and also one shower room. The lobby is well organized with also a central bench so people can sit and wait until the next class starts or chill out after their class. There are also two massage rooms here and very beautiful. This plaza is always busy, with Ghost Ranch here and Landis Bike shop too. Parking lot is tight. If you're a new student, they offer 2 classes for $20 and that's a great deal! Even minus the special, I can see myself coming here as this place is super close to me. I also haven't practiced Mysore in a long time and would love to get back into that again. A wonderful solid studio, I'll definitely be back!
