I've been coming to this studio for about 6 months. I love all the instructors! The classes are great! My favorite is the empower. I feel like I see more results with the extra weights on the wrists/ankles and with more cardio. I was scared to try it at first, but it ended up being my favorite. There are a lot of class times to accommodate for your needs. The instructors are knowledgeable and encouraging. Sometimes I need correction in my postures and I never feel dumb for not doing something right. Also just when I feel like giving up or like I can't continue they seem to always notice and say encouraging words to keep me going. The front desk staff is always friendly and accommodating. Body changing, and life changing! Was diagnosed with breast cancer 8/2020, and my entire life changed. On my cancer recovery journey, my 19 yo daughter found Pure Barre, and said, "Mom, you have to try this!" After one "Classic" class was hooked. The burn, tone, and lift is FOR REAL! This is reworking my body in all the right places. Feel better, have more energy, and have found muscles I didn't know existed in my legs, and bottom. Plus, and sleeping better! It's great for sculpting and toning, as well as strengthening your core, yet it's SO much more! The instructors are amazing, and LOVE there is different music and routines for every class, plus the instructor motivating you to keep on it, only "10 more." You do YOU. Love the instructor saying "for more challenging, do this...or if you need less challenging, do this." Pure Barre is a 45-50 minute total body workout. They use a thoughtful series of low impact, isometric movements that are designed to produce results. You'll use the ballet Barre and other light equipment as you move through class, focusing on different areas of your body. Your muscles will shake. You'll get stronger with each class. And ultimately, you'll see results. Feeling the shake is a good thing. I am a Pure Barre fan. I have been wanting to check out this location for awhile. It is located in a cozy, nice and clean plaza in Chandler near the Chandler Hospital. This location is clean, organized, and well put together. The check in process is super cool. You find your name on their iPad and check in. So convenient and updated compared to other places. The workout area is huge! I was so Impressed with how big it was. I had room to actually work out and not run into people. The back area where you store your items was so well organized with how the equipment was displayed. What I thought was great is there were pictures of what equipment you needed for each different class. This is so helpful especially for new barre babes attending Pure Bare. The instructors are very knowledgeable and are there to help you. Any age can come. Do not be afraid to ask for help. It doesn't mean you're weak. The instructors want to help you. Starting a work out after slowly somewhat in a recovery process from a back injury these small movements but yet powerful moves really make you shake, sweat and tone like you never would have imagined!! Well - at least for me. My first visit was when I came in to ask about the classes over a month ago and even met the owner - who was really sweet and energetic! This franchise is next to the Organic Sip store which is fitting after a good workout! Schedules and info about Pure Barre is available outside of the Pure Barre entrance. I started with the $100 one month unlimited new client special after going to a promo with Real Simple over the weekend. First of all the instructors and staff are energetic and friendly. The first three instructors, Sara, Lauren, Brianna (hopefully I got all their names correctly) all introduced themselves to me and to other new students - which is a real approachable way to make a newbie like me feel welcomed! :) i prefaced them with my back issues and each instructor all made sure to correct me and others in the class with the correct postures. Each class has been fun and all vary in exercise poses, and really hone in on the hard-to-get areas. So far the classes seem very promising especially if you're shaking like crazy! The exercise room is carpeted with 2 mirrored walls and a bar around 4 walls. Bring a towel if you're a sweaty type of person like myself, a bottle of water, socks and dress in yoga capris or pants and a tank. A small red ball, stretch bands and mat will be provided during class. Don't worry - the mats do get cleaned after each use at the end of class. I'm close to hitting my 500th class and I bounce between the Chandler and Ahwatukee studios. I have made some great friendships with ladies from barre, one of which is Melody. I schedule my classes with Melody and drive to where she's teaching because she works hard, she pushes me to do my best and does it all kindly with a smile and the sweetest demeanor ever. Melody makes my experience better at barre. We chat before and after class too, she asks me about my life as I do about hers. She goes above and beyond for PB and truly has a heart for the client and the experience we all receive. She also puts a lot of time and effort into her personal fitness which shows when teaching because no one can lift, tone and burn better than her!
