Good as it gets for my first Bikram experience. I'm an total gym rat but was in the mood to try a little something different so i gave this shot. it was everything i expected it to be and i left feeling awesome. The Instructor was great and a nice facility with a nice area for changing and lockers etc. they do provide mats if you do not have one first time around. I really enjoy more intense paid workouts but this is something i will look into doing whenever i feel like i need to slow things down for awhile and get my muscles relaxed and stretched out. I walked away with some good tips and can see myself back sometime in the near future. read more

Absolutely TERRIBLE experience with the Foundry. I recently had a friend pass away and needed to relax so i attempted to setup a class after seeing the specials they were offering and seeing that they had a child waiting area only to find out they dont answer the phone they said to email so i did i was contacted the next day they informed me that they were not running that special anymore. I reluctantly paid more and setup a class at the rio salado location. I showed up with my son to be told they dont have a child waiting area and thats at the paradise valley location. I then asked if he could wait in the lobby they said no i then said ok ill find a sitter i contacted a sitter and paid extra because it was so last minute. I returned 13 minutes later to find a locked door. They then came outside after i waited ten minutes to tell me im not going to watch your kid i was shocked i said i dropped him at the sitter i asked if the class was full they said no but we are not letting you in. To anyone who ever reads these reviews please dont use this bikram studio they are rude un professional and ruined my day dont let them ruin yours. Namaste read more

This Bikram studio is new. I love Bikram! So I have learned that where I practice or what I practice is all on me. This studio has great teachers. You will see familiar faces from Tempe Bikram. I love that this studio has very spacious dressing rooms, 5:30am class, great teachers, nice deco, convenient location, and spacious non smelly practice room. Still very new so there still fixing up, adding somethings. (Personally i wish they change the gray walls in the practice and dressing rooms; add more color) Overall I love the studio and practice. read more

Such a great studio!! I had been following the groupon's around the valley to get my yoga fix. When I arrived at this studio, I knew this is where I would stay. The instructors are so great. Motivating, Friendly and know your name (I love that part)!! Staff is helpful and friendly and I enjoy the occasional laugh before class. This place is clean, affordable and not to Cutesy. Rule #1 in this article applies to me and why I will never return to this studio (see bottom of post). I was trying to heal from a back injury, but wanting to do Bikram yoga again, I bought a temporary pass at this studio to see how I would do. I wanted to take it easy so as not to reinjure my back. After all, It took me over a year to heal. I explained, disclosed that I would go at my own pace and that I may not do some of the forms. They acknowledged my request and I reminded the instructors of it each time I took a class. However, to my disappointment, on two separate occasions and with two different instructors, I was singled out in class. In these two different classes, my instructors wanted to show me proper form and then proceeded to instruct me to do an aggressive (for me at the time) posture of which I was not ready for. I exclaimed that it hurt too much and they still proceeded to instruct me! Feeling embarrassed and pressured, I tried it. Now, I am back to seeing my neuro doctor and starting from square one. Perhaps the studio instructors could learn a bit by taking a dose of instruction themselves. It is our own practice after all and don't let them tell you otherwise. Though I can't say that I'm in love with Bikram or Hot Yoga, this was a GREAT place to try it out and get your first feel for it. I love Bikram Yoga! I have been practicing Bikram Yoga for many years now and through it all my very favorite location and teachers are here. They make me feel like I am a part of their family. Just over three years ago I lost my left eye in an accident and I started to practice Tai Chi again every single day to combat the post traumatic stress. It was working a little, but then I remembered how Bikram Yoga had helped me to quit smoking and get into perfect shape. I then decided to look for a new smaller studio where I could connect and relearn how to live. I practiced for over six months straight and was able to bring the ptsd down to a level that enabled me to work in my stressful pharmacy job. I took some time off recently but I am back and hope to continue to enhance my life in all areas through Bikram Yoga. read more

I love this studio! I had tried a few classes during the free week in June and feel in love. I hate working out and found out that I love yoga. The staff is amazing and always welcoming. I love the difference classes offered at this location. Barre is amazing and I would only wish they offered it more often throughout the week. I just started going to Foundry and take the hot pilates class. The instructor, Rhett, is wonderful. He's patient in explaining the moves, he'll go around and work with you one-on-one to show proper form, he also shows modifications and applaud me when I make may own adjustment to moves I'm unable to do as a beginner. I will keep coming to the pilates classes as long as he is instructing. read more

Instructors are really nice and have taken the time during class to help me on my poses. However the reason I only gave them 4 stars it's because this location is not as hot in the class as the other locations I've been too. read more

I was a former student of another yoga studio that closed down unexpectedly and moved all the students to different yoga studios. The people here were initially very welcoming, I say this in spite of the fact that my 6 month package was honored only for 3 months, which was alright. But towards the end of three months, when I finished class one day it was mentioned to me after the class(not before) that my package had ended the day before and that I had to choose another package or pay up $15 just for that one class since I wasn't gonna start my next package until after a month due to a planned trip. I expected the people to be nicer and mention it to me a day before my package ended, which I thought was valid for a couple more days, or at the least have the courtesy to let go of 1 extra class, especially since I was a regular and planned to get back to a new package after the month long trip. I will not be going back to this studio for this reason. I have no issues with the instructors as such, but the studio is small and gets uncomfortable to perform yoga with too many people in the studio. read more

I love this studio. Everything about it is inviting: the instructors, the comfortable lighting, the intimate studio size, and yes even the carpeting is nice. Side note to that last part: a lot of people who experience other forms of yoga before they try bikram often remark about why there is carpeting in bikram studios and worry if it's sanitary. I understand this concern when you are used to putting your mat down on a hardwood floor. I am not an expert on the science of it but in THIS yoga practice, you will never have sweat more in your whole life. I think the carpet is necessary for traction. There have been times in triangle pose in other studios where I've slid out a few extra inches nearly falling into the splits on their carpet (need more practice in that pose, no doubt) but here I feel stable and secure in any precarious pose. Also, the majority of sweating occurs on your own mats so no real need to be distracted by what germs might be spreading about. I've never gotten sick from a class...just the opposite...it always radically improves my health. Very glad this studio is around. read more
