I've eaten here a few times and it never disappoints. All the bowls I've gotten have been really fresh and tasty. We always get our food quickly and it's pretty clean. I also like the different kinds of drinks that you can get there makes me feel full without feeling gross. read more

I wasn't a fan when CoreLife first opened, but recently tried it again and have been back at least once a week for the past few months. The large bowl is a great deal, and healthier than chipotle for about the same price. My favorite is the southwest bowl with a few modifications to make it vegetarian. The tofu is really good. I also like the smoothies! The service is usually good. I wish they had outlets by some of the tables, but they do have wifi. read more

This is the REAL place to eat fresh. I go here all the time. Great variety in their offerings, and I would argue those freshest ingredients in town. Service is always super friendly and fast!! I typically order with their app, and they never get it wrong. Great place if you want quality fresh ingredients. Can't say enough good things about them! read more

I DoorDashed from them while at my dad's and the salads were definitely worth the price and were a good portion!

I was not sure what this place was driving by it several times. I wish the marketing was better so my family could enjoy sooner. Having gluten intolerant in the family I'm always searching for options and thanks to this app called Yelp I found the perfect restaurant. The food was delicious, offering several clean choices. The restaurant itself appears to have non contaminated areas of prep. My son said it was the first time he has felt full in a long time. read more

Amazing fast healthy fast casual option. I'm so glad we found this oasis! I was a little hesitant or skeptical about the quality because it just reminded me of a "healthy" version of Chipotle. However, every ingredient was fresh and deliciously prepared. I ordered the Tri-Tip Steak Bowl (Grilled tri-tip steak, purple rice, arugula, falafel, pickled onions, roasted peppers & onions, pickled jalapeños, beef broth.) and substituted the falafel with chicken. The beef broth was such a delicious touch to the bowl. The side of sweet potatoes were also worth it! The honey, cinnamon, and brown sugar complemented each other so well with the sweet potatoes! They have a lot of handcrafted beverages for you to choose from (so worth getting a drink!). The 2 I tried were delicious! This place was so delicious we had to stop by again on our trip back to Chicago just to order this bowl again! read more

Food was great. I had ordered the Southwest bowl and my wife got the Greek chicken bowl. The guy who is at the start of the line who took our order was really mean to his fellow employees. My wife and I were eating and overheard the way he was yelling and disrespecting the two other fellow "women" employees. My wife was very appalled by the way he spoke to them. The woman who looked like a manager simply asked him if everything was okay and he just started yelling at her. The way he spoke to her was very unprofessional and he kept saying something about her grandfather dying which was very upsetting to hear as my father had passed away. I feel horrible for the women that work there because they had to deal with this type of disrespect. My wife and I again were very appalled by the way he treated them especially the manager. Nobody deserves to be disrespected that way. He has no respect for elderly people as one of the lady's was an elderly woman. My wife could not hear any more of it and we got up and left. Hopefully management can have a serious conversation with him. read more

I accidentally ordered from the wrong corelife eatery online at this restaurant. They gave me a full refund! Their food is yummy and nutritious. You should make this restaurant part of your core read more

I love the food but it doesn't not appear that the floors are cleaned everyday- the lease clean the floors u see the tables and by the doors

Absolutely delicious! Great for people with allergies, gluten free dairy free and vegan options! And great price, clean food and restaurant!

Went to CoreLife for the first time and it was great! I had the Teriyaki Chicken and Broccoli (minus a few things I can't eat) and it was delicious! The person helping us navigate through all the choices was super sweet and very helpful. We'll definitely be returning. read more

The spicy Thai chicken bowl and Korean pork bbq Mac and cheese were excellent! I've found a new place to grab a healthy meal after work. I've heard the drinks are good, but I haven't tried them myself. There's many more items I would like to try as it all looks tasty. read more

Celiacs not eat here. It is no longer safe for Celiacs. Since they introduced bread...it is all contaminated. They grab the bread and then the salad mix. Handle avacados, swipe the food run and then serve the food. I spoke to the manager and came back in and it was even worse. Bummer they have great salads. read more

Really enjoyed this spot. Had a Korean bowl that was super tasty. Not busy at all so it was a quick serve. Lots of good menu options that I'd like to come back and try. I travel here for work and this will be one of my go to spots. read more

I'm in Normal for a months for work. While it's a college town and every chain is here, there is a severe lack of healthy and delicious options. A good salad is indeed difficult to find here. But alas. CoreLife to the rescue! Everything is high quality and fresh. I had the steak, bacon amd blue. Maybe just say the grass fed tri tip is better than filet mignon I've had elsewhere. So tender and tasty! I eat here nearly every day. I can get a salad with dressing on the side to take to work the next day. There are many well selected creations, or build your own. Salads, soups, sides, and tacos! If you are like me and Luke to put fresh, healthy and tasty into your body, this is the place for you! read more

Free coupon came in mail - if it hadn't been I would have bypassed the wonderful little eatery. Sure, it's only salad or soup; but just like noodles&co. They have elevated the benefits of that. Not as "health conscious" if you glance at the calorie contents but I think it is more about where the food comes from etc. I had the Southwest chicken & purple rice salad suggested by (since never having been here and very many choices) "crafter" Ella (Kudos) and a mixed dressing of the ranch and chili-lime (also Ella's suggestion). Along with a drink (some weird ones over there "beet juice lemonade" really?? Well, I may need to try it). read more

Excellent combinations that are health conscious AND super flavorful! When the menu item says 'spicy', they mean it re: chili pepper heat. Love their juices, especially the cucumber basil lemonade. They are not crazy sweet but I wish they would offer a sparkling water option to fizzle up the juices. Here is the drill.....Figure out exactly what you want before you actually have to order ;) as the choices are a little overwhelming. Place order, then move along the counter to the various stations where friendly staff will ask you what options you want (such as fresh grated ginger) and they will add it on a la Subway/Moe's. I had a spicy chicken bowl with ancient grains which was good, however, we visited during soft opening so it had some missing ingredients. I will overlook due to the situation and it won't keep me from going back soon. They do have an online ordering system to help avoid waiting in line or for carryout that I'll try soon. read more

We went here for the soft opening. In my opinion, they are very well trained, knowledgable and quick. The food was great and very fresh. I had the steak, bacon & Blue. Yum! My friend had the curry tai soup. She really liked it as well. The portions are big and maybe able to be shared. I also had the cold brewed coffee when I left - it was strong but oh so good! Very impressed and will be back. NOTE: plenty of seating and the staff is fantastic read more

Their food is good but i will say it's pricey. I love their kale chicken Cesar salad. Definitely a great place for a quick healthy meal.

Unfortunately this restaurant does not respect the Covid rules. The shift lead, Caleb, had his mask around his neck and every other worker had their masks under their nose. When we asked for a refund (picking up for take home) and we shared that we had unvaccinated kiddos at home and did not feel comfortable with their protocols in action, we were accused of being rude. We got a refund but will not be going back. Bummer because their menu looks great. read more

Very tasty selections. Healthy option for lunch with a similar concept to a chipotle. Will definitely come back next time I'm in town!

It was disappointing all around. The options were overwhelming and the staff wasn't very helpful. When I decided on a wrap; that was unavailable. I tried the taco bowl. It was rather bland. My friend had the tomato basil soup which was on the bitter side, while the Mac & Cheese was lacking. Based on our experience, it appears that healthy food has to be tasteless. I'm not sure that's the impression you're striving for... read more

Core life is counter service that they make as you walk through. I was a little overwhelmed by the options. The food was good, and portions are large. You are offered bread as you pay, and it's good. Beverage options are different teas and lemonades. The dining room is modern and there is a patio. read more

love the food, but was recently disappointed in service. I came to get some food for work and showed up before opening, not knowing the open-close hours (admittedly that is my fault) but I was able to walk in because the side door was unlocked and walk past the person at the register who was on his phone. He didn't say anything to me about being closed until i reached the start of the line to order food, when he yelled to me from the register that the place was closed, when I apologized and mentioned the unlocked door he ignored me and went back to his phone. I left without him saying anything else. Im willing to admit I should have checked the hours of operation, but I was annoyed at the unlocked door, and at the guy working who didn't acknowledge me until I was ready to order. I do love corelife food, but I was saddened by the service I received this morning. read more

Loved. This. Place. Wow. I wish they had one where I live! I'm the type of person that craves a good salad.. and this place was my top pick over the holidays when I was craving something clean and healthy. I ordered the poke salad and added pickled onions, no tomato. It was so fresh and crunchy because of the kale, quinoa and fresh edamame. The dressing was the perfect amount for the size of salad I ordered. Also! I thought it was cute that it comes with a half slice of bread. I expected the bread to be dry.. nope. It had a sweet taste and wasn't dry at all. Overall I was impressed. The price in my opinion was reasonable for the amount of food, the freshness and the ingredients that go into each salad. Highly recommend this place. read more

Whoa. . .where is the quality control? Normally, I don't review corporate restaurants. And let me say this, I was a regular at the CoreLife in Indianapolis near Keystone, so I'm a fan; this location, not so much. I ordered a favorite, the Fire tuna poke bowl. First off, the portion size was ridiculously small compared to what I would receive in Indy. Second, the tuna was not fresh; chewy and had just a bit of smell to it. Third, almost no cabbage and spouts were provided. And finally, the fire sauce was skimped. So, the fact that there was an issue at every single station/step, leads me to believe that this is just how it is at this location. read more

The concept is great but the food quality and price don't match the hype. A green, noodle, salad version of Blaze Pizza. You choose whatever you want to be added to your dry or soup based green bowls. I'm not impressed with their soup bowls at all. For the workers on the streamline not knowing the recipes and constantly forgetting ingredients. More importantly, the noodle soup doesn't have the coherent flavor or texture. It tastes like what you see in the picture, a bunch of unorganized ingredients put into a bowl. Also, the dishes are overpriced for how little to none cooking goes into making them happen. I would not come back, but to recreate those dishes at home. (Make sure you try their lemenade though, really freshing and tasty!) read more

was SUPER impressed with this place. reminds of the INSANELY popular upbeet in atlanta. this is the future. its like chipotle but on steroids and without the bent towards tex/mex and a billion more options. you can many forms your meal can take: salad, grain bowl, noodles and just plated straight up. they offer 1.5 million lemonade options. many great protein options and amazing place for vegetarians. I've been here twice already. Definitely deserves 5 Stars. First off, kudos to a healthy restaurant actually eschewing soda. I've been to a lot of fresh and clean eating restaurants that still offer either soda and/or booze. I don't care for sugary drinks, but the lemonade options did have sampling cups and I tried them all... "for science" The regular lemonade tastes like... lemonade... the beet lemonade was my favorite, it's got just a hint of beet and it works suprisingly well. The cayenne lemonade did have some kick to it, I did enjoy the sampling that I had, but I probably wouldn't have a whole glass of it. The basil lemonade looks gross to some people, because it's very green, but it's not bad. The regular iced tea was my favorite, but I'm biased towards iced tea and really avoid sugar in drinks at all costs. How it works: The actual ordering process reminds me of a chipotle but with a LOT more options. What's important to remember is that there is a menu, but what's on it is technically a set of suggested recipes. That being said, there are so many delicious looking recipes that it's going to take me a while to get through all of them. Price: Both my meals cost in the $15 range including drink and tax. Stick to water and you'll be in the $11.50 range, which is well worth it considering the quality of food. What to eat: I tried two recipes so far, the first one was the spicy thai chicken noodles. Not great for someone who isn't adventurous, but is FANTASTIC if you like Thai food, it ends up being a sort of spicy chicken slaw with noodles in it. The other was the Ranch Skirt Steak. This is more suitable towards those who want to play it safe with more traditional clean eating options in it like rice, spinach, beef, and assorted veggies, with the Falafel being the outlier here. With the recipes, I highly recommend that you don't modify them in any way. You have to be willing to try new things but it is very rewarding. Quality: Ingredients certainly are fresh and flavorful. I make a lot healthy food at home, but sometimes when I'm busy working I don't have time to cook at home, and now I really don't have to feel guilty eating out. Portion size: The full size portion is fine for me, I'm a 6'3" male that's about 215 pounds. I like the double protein option for a post weight lift meal. If you're trying to eat clean and eat in moderation and you're smaller than myself, maybe try the smaller size. Additional thoughts: I really enjoy this place and the ethos, my concern is that quality is difficult to maintain, and it might be difficult to keep a loyal crowd, a lot of clean eaters like to prepare their own food, and unfortunately, in Central Illinois, a LOT of people just want to eat cheap crap. That being said, as a busy professional who doesn't always have time to prepare meals or make food at home, I enjoy a quality option and I will definitely be making this my go to fast casual restaurant. I also overheard that the ingredients ARE locally sourced and will come in and out of season. That's good because we can count on fresh ingredients AND you'll likely be able to eat there a LOT and manage to never have the same thing twice. read more
