When I walked in, I was the only one in line so my order was placed right away. The service was good on this visit. Everyone was very friendly and they worked quickly to make my sandwich. I ordered the Grilled Chicken & Cheese. It was nothing fantastic, but it was good like I expected. I wouldn't consider these gourmet sandwiches, but I've always liked what I ordered and the pricing is pretty moderate at a little over $5 for a sandwich. This is a good option for a quick lunch.

When you order a slider, don't think you're getting some tiny sandwich--this thing is full-size and loaded. The kale slaw adds the perfect amount of flavor and crunch, especially when paired with Dave's sauce... such a good combo. The fries are also fantastic--almost perfect. I personally like mine just a little crispier, but the seasoning on them is so good it doesn't exactly matter lol And yes... we're talking about the pickles too. Perfect pickles. They add that extra bite and flavor that pushes the sandwich right over the edge to perfection. Oh and I almost forgot to mention my son wanted to try the macaroni and cheese so bad that he went up there and ordered a side of it, we all shared it. It was good, the noodles tasted just a little bit well done, and it smelled like velveeta. This place definitely gets crowded, but for good reason--it's a hot, popular spot and people know their chicken is fresh and amazing. There's plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, and I absolutely love the graffiti artwork on the walls. The bright, bold colors are so inviting, it almost makes you want to come inside before you even smell the food. If you haven't been here yet, do yourself a favor and get over here and check it out. It's great!

Everyone loved their food and everything had great flavor. My only complaint would be the lack of protein. Both pastas with shrimp each had three shrimps. That seems like very little for protein in a large pasta dish especially for the price. Overall, we were happy with our experience and would eat here again...and ask for more protein.

Review Visit: May 18th, 2012…read more Noodles & Good Company. On our way to Bloomington for a concert, my dad, Matt and I needed some food. We wanted to make sure we had enough food in us before we rocked out to some music for a few hours. I didn't have a particular place in mind but I did ask if anyone wanted to try a place on my list of places... to try. Somehow we ended up picking Noodles & Company. Noodles & Company is one of those places that I had seen a ton of advertisements for, but never had the chance to visit due to none being in my town. I had no idea what to expect and was slightly disappointed with the menu offerings. Nothing really sounded appealing on the menu. I can usually find something worth wanting to order but not at this particular time. Maybe it was my mood, my appetite, or some other cosmic forces at work but nothing sounded good except for a meatball sub, which I am indifferent on. The three of us placed our orders, sat down, and waited. It didn't take long before we had our food. My dad and Matt ordered a soup of some sorts. I looked at my meatball sub and thought that it just didn't look appealing. But, not one to let my apprehension get in the way of eating perfectly okay food, I dug in. It... wasn't bad. For not expecting much, the sandwich was pretty decent. After a few bites, my appetite worked it's way over to accepting what I was eating and was okay with it. As I finished, I asked how my dad and Matt were enjoying their meals. I got a very 'eh' response from both of them. I would be willing to try Noodles & Company again should I be with someone who wants to go. They do have a good-sized menu with plenty of stuff to pick from, it's just not a place that I find on my radar. Go there yourself and see if its a place that your appetite finds more appealing.

My companion opted for Breakfast Tacos with chorizo that had a perfect balance of spice and paired perfectly with the other ingredients in the breakfast tacos. Fried potatoes made a great side dish. This most recent visit we tried the seasonal item, Lemon Seafood Bucatini, which was bright, not too sour but pleasantly tart and flavorful. Portion size is very generous.
