The new chicken and broccoli on quinoa bowl
Bill Z.

The worst thing about going to this CoreLife is getting into the plaza where it is, with all the left turns off main roads, lengthy red lights, etc.. The inside is pretty standard. There was a smaller crew there, but they worked efficiently, and our orders were prepared quickly. I particularly liked the new chicken and broccoli on quinoa bowl. I'm also glad they started listing some of the nutritional information on the labels of some of the fountain drinks. I had no idea just how much sugar was in some of them!!! Fountain drink cups were smaller too, not that it matters since refills are free. All in all, it was a good visit, and a healthier option for a quick meal than other nearby fast food options.

I haven't been here in a few years. The ordering is cattle style and I wished I had looked online ahead; I pressured myself to order. Staff was friendly and helpful but there were was too many people for dinner on a Thursday night. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. We both had salad/bowls and I would like to try a broth next time.

Tuna Poke Fire

Reminds me a of a healthy chipotle - this is slightly pricier and less filling though. Poke seemed pretty dry and not a ton of protein pieces. I ordered the larger size and finished it with some room to spare. Presentation of food was good but the taste was mediocre. This is a healthier option so it may not have the same heaviness/carbs at other places. The juices are definitely their strongpoint. It's unique and some are very tasty (some not so much) but I think it's very person dependent on the ingredients used. Little things that were missed was the utensils not being restocked so they only had knives for people to eat and didn't realize till I notified them. Also, one of the juice dispensers was jammed so I was unable to try. Overall a mediocre place - higher prices for eh food but it is healthier. I may come back to try as I only had one item and the menu is pretty extensive. Would recommend their juice as its unique and you're bound to find a tasty one. With what I tried though not very impressed and not a place I would seek out specifically.

Like every other time another great experience! This place is 100% gf minus the wraps. I got a salad bowl - I think southwest or spicy chicken. It was yummy and delicious. I got a side of gf Mac and cheese which was better then good! The two people who were working were helpful and patient! The lobby was clean. There was only one trash can which at first was hard to find. Maybe they could add another one in a more efficient place! But minus me looking lost in trash in my hands it was yummy and nice experience!

BYO Salad with tuna, edamame, pickled onions, mushrooms, scallions and beets on a bed of romaine and spinach with Thai cashew dressing.

Feed the Core Here. There are quite a few healthy options for varying preferences depending what you order. I did a build your own salad: the base options are great like greens or grains, then the extra ingredients I added I enjoyed, but I could see that the choices available may not satisfy some picky eaters, lol. There is definitely enough dressings to choose from to compliment your chosen dish.

Spicy Thai Chicken & Rice Noodle

This place is yummy!! They offer a large variety of healthy meals. They are very clean too! I always choose the spicy Thai chicken bowl because I love it so much but one of these days I'll pick something different!! They also have several selections of all natural beverages. I come here on my lunch break on occasion when I need a guilt-free meal.

Tuna poke bowl

This place needs to come to Jersey! Healthy choices , fresh ingredients, and lots of customization. They have different pre assembled bowls you can choose from with different proteins and toppings or you can make your own. They also have a ton of interesting lemonades and teas. I got the tuna poke bowl. The tuna was extremely flavorful and fresh and was topped with half an avocado (they did not skimp). Next time I would get a different lettuce instead kale (they have a ton of mixes). This place makes eating "healthy" fun.

Rice bowl that was supposed to have a lot of veggies.

4/19/2026 Well. . . I just had to come back to this beautiful place even though it's almost an…read morehour away from where I live. My brother and sister in law have raved about this brunch and it IS rave worthy!! So yesterday was my day! We were seated at a table that was wobbling like nobody's business. That's one thing I can't stand! We brought it to our server, Bella's, attention and she promptly assisted us and stabilized the table. During the course of our brunch the manager (I presume) also checked in to make sure our table was cooperating (which it was). Bella provided great service to us. I really enjoyed the offerings at this wonderful brunch! My sister in law made a reservation and I'm glad she did. Not long after we were seated the place started to get busy. I thought the food quality and presentation was top notch! Some of the offerings were prime rib, roasted turkey, omelette made to order, oysters Rockefeller- giant shrimp cocktail, salads, pasta, chicken divan, lox, bagels and a dessert emporium that will rock your world! That's only some of the offerings. So many choices you will find a lot to enjoy here for even the most picky palate! I enjoyed the prime rib especially. The young man slicing it was very pleasant (so sorry did not get his name) and it was tender and so freaking delicious. I enjoyed that immensely! The icing on the cake though was that delicious creamy horseradish sauce! WOW! Also I loved the tortellini with sun-dried tomatoes and spinach in a cream sauce- so rich and decadent. Another item I had to try was the eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was probably the best I've ever had. It is rich but had a nice lemony finish. I tried several other tasty items including the fresh and flavorful shrimp cocktail. I was truly happy with the entire experience. For 45$ you are getting the world. That's rare today! Included in the price is coffee, tea and soft drinks- that's another big plus for me! I hate when restaurants try to nickel and dime for soft drinks etc. Not here! They also offer 5$ mimosas and Bloody Mary's. My husband enjoyed his Bloody Mary. I would definitely come back in a heart beat! Sonia was very pleasant too, she was restocking the side room with offerings. We had a pleasant conversation. *** oh*** one other thing I failed to mention- when I was there, the buffet was in pristine condition throughout the experience. I've been to other places where the buffet looks great in the beginning but then, as time passes it starts to look sloppy with food splatter, looks picked over, and food items nearly empty. Not here!!! Great experience. You won't regret it!!! It's well worth the price!

The asparagus was thicker than I prefer but it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Sometimes thicker stalks become stringy. Not these. The mashed potatoes on their own were good, but I took it to the next level adding in some of the demi glaze and they were absolute perfection. Creamy, buttery, and rich. Of course the main event - the tomahawk steak. As you should, I order this steak rare. The outside had a perfect char. Where the fat rendered tasted like a crispy bacon. The whole steak was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. It didn't NEED a sauce, but the glaze complimented the flavors perfectly. My only critique here is how loud the place was. It was a bustling night and if you are going for a quiet intimate spot, this may not be for you. However, the atmosphere was buzzing, the restaurant is beautiful, and the service is on point. It's a must try!

The…read morerestaurant was very modern and had a sophisticated flare to it while still staying family friendly. I started with the lobster roll bao buns. Creamy lobster on top of nori inside of a light and fluffy bun. It was a fun twist on a classic bite. For the main I ordered the wagyu burger. I ordered it rare and it was not the right call. The burger was so thick that it didn't get a great sear on the outside and was falling apart. I did hear a waitress recommend medium well due to the size and I would definitely suggest that to anyone who tries it. It had a great flavor so I would still recommend you try it. I also ordered the notch fried rice bowl. Chinese sausage, pork belly, peas, carrots, bell peppers, tomatoes, garlic, broccoli, egg, bean sprouts, togarashi spice, and topped with a dippy egg. This dish was savory, Asian fusion cuisine mixed with something that felt like comfort food. If you go here, this is what I would recommend you try, but their whole menu looked incredible. This is a spot you need to add to your list of places to check out.

She knew all of the dishes and adult beverages and successfully helped us navigate choices. The chefs created exceptional dishes of the highest quality with an amazing balance of flavors. My girlfriend and I shared their pork belly wontons and they tasted as if they had just been handcrafted just moments before they were served. The salmon dish at Notch is perfect, light, and beyond tender. The vegetables had also been beautifully prepared and I devoured all of it. My girlfriend loved her burger and fries, which she adored. Our drinks were fantastic as well. Notch also boasts a warm and welcoming atmosphere for couples or families, and there is also a bar for those who want something even more casual. We cannot wait to return!

Unfortunately, there was a strong cold draft at floor level, leaving our feet uncomfortably cold throughout the meal. The hostess was sweet and greeted us with a smile. The food service was unremarkable. Our waiter was not particularly friendly nor personable. The drinks were a weak start. The red sangria was poor. The bourbon cocktail was an odd mix of bourbon, apple cider, and other elements--an awkward, Frankenstein-style whiskey sour that simply didn't work. Worst of all, both drinks were served in thin plastic cups, which immediately cheapened the entire experience. I ordered the falafel sandwich and specifically requested a toasted bun. It arrived not just room temperature, but cold. I sent it back, and it returned burning hot... the bottom soggy... literally too hot to pick up... with no browning or color change, clearly microwaved. Microwaving is not toasting. At that point, the sandwich was inedible. I removed the bun entirely and ate just the falafel, which was dry and largely tasteless. At this point I knew coming back to this restaurant was a mistake. Food timing was another issue. The dishes took roughly 45 minutes to arrive after the drinks, possibly longer. We were all getting annoyed and what started out well when we first walked in turned negative. I wasn't impressed on my first visit years ago... and this second visit confirmed it. Between the poor drinks, cheap plastic cups, ridiculously long wait (with no explanation nor apology), and careless food execution, there's no reason to return.

It was ok, the shrimp were a little overdone in my opinion but not terrible. Ahi tuna tips. Sesame seed crusted and served with a creamy wasabi cucumber dip. Incredible. Then finally the seasonal roasted strawberry bruschetta. Served on a crispy piece of bread with a ricotta spread. Sweet and savory all at once. Another delicious app that I would recommend you try. We thought it would be good, but we didn't expect that it would be outstanding. Their dinner menu was fairly small but had an amazing variety of dishes to suit many tastes. It was difficult to choose, but we settled on the veal and the pork rib rack chop. I knew it would be an outstanding meal when the salads that came with all entrees arrived. I usually grudgingly take a couple bites of a provided (typically uninspired) house salad, but this one was comprised of perfectly dressed greens that were the most tender, delicious, and freshest I've ever had in a restaurant, topped with crispy taro strips and a ring of tiny mung beans. If that level of care goes into a humble salad, I figured the mains would be awesome. They were. Both entrees had beautifully cooked proteins accompanied by generous portions of also beautifully cooked vegetables. The pork rib chop was especially impressive, tender and juicy and nicely paired with the apple mostarda, a sophisticated riff on a traditional pork chop with apple sauce. In addition to the vegetable sides noted on the menu descriptions, we each got haricot verts on the side. I typically eat green beans only because they're good for you, but these were so delicious that they were the only item I didn't take for leftovers. The dessert list was impressively long, and we went for their crème brûlée and a Bavarian with chantilly cream and cherries. The crème brûlée was delicate and smooth, with many specks of fresh vanilla bean and topped with incredibly fresh berries. The Bavarian was excellent as well, mousse-like in texture. Our service had the professionalism you would expect in a high end place. I thought it was an especially thoughtful touch that my box of leftovers was delivered at the end of the meal with the check, so it wasn't sitting on the table with us during dessert. The Savory Grille knows small touches make a difference. Of note, we were in the main dining room, which was a little snug, and the volume with a full house was a bit loud (from talking, not music). The other space looks a bit more spacious. No matter, we had an awesome dinner here that left us with fond memories, and I highly recommend the Savory Grille for a special occasion.
