It just so happen to also be the weekend that they were celebrating their 3rd Anniversary and the price incentive to attend classes was pretty sweet - gratis. Along with classes, there were discounts on various packages for workouts. I purchased a shirt to show my support and appreciation. Upon arrival, they have a way of making you feel like family. I received a cheerful welcome back at check-in. I received a quick reminder of where everything was - towels, restroom, lockers and my assigned station. Ron was there as well, he even gave me a quick recap on the equipment. The classes that I attended were attended were Saturday and Sunday, both at 10am. The first battle truly was getting out of bed early on my vacay go work out. Saturday class was taught by Aimee and we had a live DJ. Sunday was split between 2 Instructors - I don't recall their names. I was probably too busy trying not to fall on my face while running on the treadmill...my legs were sore from Saturday. The workouts were good both days and both days I started on the treadmill. Perhaps next time I'll start with the weights to give myself more time to wake up before attempting to run. I am happy to see that Shred 415 is still around thriving. I'd definitely go back...I'm just not sure when. In the meantime, I recommend checking them out even if it is just to try something new or you're visiting the area.

I have taken a variety of classes with Kolleen, Sara, and Matt and every class is scalable regardless of where you might be in your fitness journey. There is help and encouragement when you need it, and the environment makes you want to come back and workout again, and again. In terms of cleanliness, Core 57 is a 10/10. I have yet to see dust on anything. Cleaning spray bottles and towels are provided to every member during the class and cleaning is required after each use of equipment and announced by the trainers. It is a small group setting (personal training is offered and classes have 4 members to 12 members depending on the class), so I feel comfortable working out even during a pandemic. There are also restrooms and 2 showers available in case you might need to get ready post workout. This is not the kind of gym where you walk on the treadmill for an hour and blindly figure out what equipment to use. If you're looking for a big box gym for $29 a month, this is also not the place for you. I called to reserve and he welcomed me to the first class by text. I've been really happy with the workouts, even though I have never been a morning workout person. The programs are varied and efficient. Matthew does not have a 'drill sargeant' style, so my preconceptions of 'boot camps' are not a problem. It is go your own pace, if you're feeling it or not on any given day, if you can just make it to class, there's a workout for you. 530am class is generally busiest. 630, 730, and 830 classes currently have room for more students.
